This chapter mainly introduces the members of the Liu family. You can skip it if you are not interested.
By the way, Grandpa Liu and Grandma Liu used fake names in Sichuan Province. Grandpa Liu's real name was Liu Chengmin, and his current name was Liu He. He was the eldest son of the Liu family in Beijing and was born in 1906. In the 12th year of the Republic of China, that is, in 1923, at the age of 18, he traveled across the ocean to study abroad.
Grandma Liu's original name was Mu Wanzhen, and her current name was Liu Zhen. She also came from a large family in Beijing. She was born in 1909 and was the youngest daughter in the family.
In the 13th year of the Republic of China, that is, in 1924, the young and elegant Liu Chengmin met the beautiful and elegant Mu Wanzhen. He was deeply attracted at first sight and fell in love with her at first sight.
Afterward, Ryu Seung-min passionately pursued Mu Wan-jin and ultimately won her heart. They married in 1926. The following year, in 1928, they welcomed their first child, their eldest son, Ryu Chun-ping. However, fate twisted things, and Ryu Chun-ping was separated from his parents at the age of six. He was subsequently raised by his third uncle, a member of the same clan.
At the age of 18, Liu Chunping met Cao Cuilan, the daughter of a butcher. Her beauty and gentleness captivated his heart. They quickly fell in love and started a family. After marriage, they welcomed three adorable sons and two beautiful daughters, and their life was filled with joy and laughter.
The eldest son, Liu Guoqiang, is 33 years old this year. He serves as a regimental-level chief of staff in the Beijing Military Region and has a successful career. He is married to Qian Yu, the daughter of the old squad leader, and they love each other very much.
Today, Qian Yu manages the Liuji Hotpot branch in the military region, managing the family business in an orderly manner. They have a son and a daughter: their son, Liu Yunfei, is 8 years old and smart; their daughter, Liu Yunyan, is only 2 years old and innocent and adorable.
The second son, Liu Guodong, is also 30 years old. He is the director of a military factory and works diligently and responsibly. He is married to his childhood sweetheart, Russell, and they have a deep affection for each other.
Russell, who oversees a branch of Liuji Hot Pot near the factory, has also demonstrated excellent business acumen. They have twin daughters, Liu Yunchu and Liu Yunjin, now seven years old, and a two-year-old son, Liu Yunxiao.
The third daughter, Liu Pianran, is the apple of the eye. She is 26 years old and the apple of her eye. She experienced an unhappy marriage but emerged from it with strength. Today, she manages a branch of Liuji Hotpot and enjoys a thriving career. She and her ex-husband, Lin Ye, have a lovely daughter, Liu Jingfan.
The fourth son, Liu Guoxing, and the fifth daughter, Liu Yanran, are twins born in 1961 and are now 20 years old. Liu Guoxing married Deng Wanjun at the beginning of the year and is currently a sophomore at Jingcheng University. He is responsible for purchasing for all Liuji Hotpot restaurants in Jingcheng.
Liu Yanran, one of the founders of Liuji Hotpot, is still unmarried but is engaged to Gu Shijing, a battalion commander who is currently on a classified mission abroad.
The Liu family first migrated in 1929, returning to their home in Jiangxi Province. In 1932, they gave birth to their second daughter, Liu Chunling. However, Liu Chunling's marriage was unhappy. She had two sons and two daughters from her previous marriage to Chen Jiajun. She now raises her two children alone: Chen Zi'ang and Chen Zixi, aged sixteen and fourteen, respectively. Their eldest daughter starved to death shortly after birth. Furthermore, Chen's mother sold their youngest son, now thirteen years old, who will reappear in the story.
Back in 1933, a sudden flood put the Liu family in dire straits. They were forced to begin their second relocation, but before they could decide where to settle, they were swept away by the raging floodwaters. The main group, led by the third uncle, overcame many difficulties and dangers and finally arrived in Su City, Jiangxi Province. Meanwhile, Liu Chengmin and several of his uncles and brothers chose to move to Sichuan Province.
In 1934, Mu Wanzhen successfully gave birth to Liu Chunhua. However, the child had some problems from the womb, which led to her lifelong unmarried and childless. This was undoubtedly a heavy blow to the Liu family.
Time flew by. In 1940, Mu Wanzhen gave birth to Liu Chunsheng. Liu Chunsheng and Qiao Anna married in 1968, the year after Liu Chuncheng went to the countryside. Shortly after their wedding, they welcomed their eldest son, Liu Siping. Today, Liu Siping is 12 years old. Then, in 1971, Liu Chunsheng and Qiao Anna welcomed twins, a boy and a girl, named Liu Silin and Liu Sijia. Both children are now 10 years old.
The year 1949 marked a special era, marking the birth of the People's Republic of China. That same year, Ryu Seung-min and his wife welcomed a son, named Ryu Chun-seong. Time flew by, and by 1967, Ryu Chun-seong had actively responded to the nation's call to join the movement to work in the countryside.
Liu Chuncheng had been diligently working in the countryside, occasionally supported by his family. However, his fate took a sudden turn. Wang Guihong's family began plotting against him in 1973, but Liu Chuncheng remained steadfast in his principles, maintaining his distance from Wang Guihong and never engaging in a substantial relationship.
It was not until two years later, after he was drugged, that he had sex with Wang Guihong. In 1976, their child, Liu Jun'an, was born and is now five years old.
Since then, Liu Chuncheng has never had any intimate behavior with Wang Guihong. When he was in the countryside, he always slept with his son; after passing the university entrance examination and returning to the city in 1978, he lived alone in the school dormitory.
Originally, he wanted Wang Guihong to help take care of his elderly parents, but who knew that she would never get up in the morning, sleeping until noon every day, and occasionally taking money from his parents to send back to his hometown. If there was any way, he really didn't want to have anything to do with such a woman anymore, but she was a tough guy and threatened to go to his school to make trouble if he divorced her, so he really had no choice.
PS: Now the relationship network should be clear, making it easier to continue reading, hehe.
