Chapter 136 Purchasing Equipment from Abroad

They were lucky enough to find an empty table. As soon as they sat down, a young waiter came over and enthusiastically poured them tea and handed them the menu. The waiter looked young and seemed to be a minor, but his service attitude was very thoughtful and made people feel very satisfied.

Liu Yanran carefully examined the menu, noting the wide variety of dishes and relatively affordable prices. She ordered a plate of pickled fish, a plate of hot and sour shredded potatoes, a plate of sweet and sour pork ribs, a bowl of tomato and egg soup, and two bowls of rice. The waiter meticulously wrote down her order in beautiful, neat handwriting.

Soon, the food arrived. Each dish was steaming hot and exuding an alluring aroma. Liu Yanran couldn't wait to take a bite. When the young man heard this, he immediately became anxious: "But Grandpa Yan Zhen's illness can't wait. Didn't the doctor say that we need to collect the surgery fee as soon as possible?"

Liu Yanran, who was listening intently, couldn't help but interrupt, "What equipment are you selling? And what's wrong with the old man? Maybe I can help."

As soon as she said this, she was surprised. She was not usually a warm-hearted person, but for some reason, when she saw the middle-aged man in front of her, she felt an inexplicable sense of intimacy.

The middle-aged man then noticed the two people sitting beside him. When his eyes fell on Liu Yanran, his pupils suddenly widened and his lips trembled slightly: "Aunt Wanzhen..."
