Chapter 30 Gu Shijing is seriously injured

An Xu looked at Liu Yanran's pale face, and a trace of doubt surged in her heart. She keenly sensed that there seemed to be some special relationship between Liu Yanran and the injured person. This made her very interested in the identity of the injured person.

Liu Yanran's voice trembled, and her eyes were filled with fear and worry. She tightly grasped An Xu's hand and said anxiously, "An Xu, please save him!"

An Xu's brow furrowed slightly, sensing Liu Yanran's nervousness and uneasiness. She nodded gently, reassuring her. However, she didn't directly answer Liu Yanran's request, but instead inquired about the injured person's identity.

Liu Yanran hesitated for a moment, but finally decided to confess. She told An Xu that the injured person was her boyfriend. Hearing this, An Xu's heart tightened. She knew how heavy Liu Yanran's heart was at the moment.

She gently patted Liu Yanran's shoulder, offering her a bit of comfort. Then, she turned to look at the injured man, her gaze firm and focused. She promised Liu Yanran that she would do her utmost to treat Gu Shijing.

Liu Yanran looked at An Xu with gratitude, tears in her eyes. She knew that An Xu was a trustworthy person, and she believed that An Xu would be able to save Gu Shijing.

Gu Shijing lay on the cold operating table, his face as pale as paper, his eyes closed. With trembling hands, Liu Yanran gently wiped the blood from his face. Her tears flowed uncontrollably, but she clenched her teeth to hold back her tears.

Under An Xu's guidance, Liu Yanran carefully tended to Gu Shijing's wounds. She meticulously cleaned each wound with disinfectant. Then An Xu removed the bullet, and Liu Yanran bandaged it. Despite her best efforts, she couldn't stop the blood from seeping from the wound, staining the ground beneath Gu Shijing red.

However, what worried Liu Yanran the most was the gunshot wound on Gu Shijing's chest, close to his heart. The bullet was deeply embedded in his body, making his breathing increasingly weak, as if it would stop at any moment.

Liu Yanran was extremely anxious, but she was powerless and could only pray silently to God to help Gu Shijing survive this disaster.

The bullet in the heart was more complicated to deal with, so An Xu called a professional doctor to replace Liu Yanran. This doctor was experienced and skilled, and was the best person to handle such a complicated situation.

An Xu had a brief and effective communication with the doctor, explaining in detail the patient Gu Shijing's condition and the key points of the operation.

Liu Yanran had been assisting An Xu at the operating table, her face full of fatigue and worry. An Xu looked at her, his heart filled with gratitude and heartache.

She whispered to Liu Yanran, "You should go out and have a rest first. There are professional doctors here to take over. You have done a good job." Liu Yanran hesitated for a moment. She knew that she could not help here, but she was still worried about leaving.

An Xu emphasized again, "Don't worry, we'll do our best. Go and rest and regain your strength. He'll need your care later." Liu Yanran nodded. She understood An Xu's meaning and knew she needed to stay in good condition. She slowly walked out of the operating room, silently praying for the surgery to be successful.

In the corridor outside the operating room, the lights were dim and the air was filled with a tense atmosphere. Not long after, Gu Shiyuan and his mother hurried over.

The hospital corridor was filled with a tense atmosphere. Mother Gu paced back and forth anxiously, her eyes fixed on the door of the simple operating room. Just then, the door opened and Liu Yanran walked out.

Mother Gu immediately went over to him and asked in a trembling voice, "Yanran, how is Shi Jing? Did the operation go well?"

Liu Yanran gently patted Mother Gu's hand and comforted her, "Auntie, don't worry. Shi Jing is still in surgery, but Dr. An Xu's medical skills are very superb, so don't worry."

Liu Yanran's words made Mother Gu feel a little relieved, but her eyes were still full of worry. Liu Yanran understood Mother Gu's feelings and continued, "Auntie, I have been accompanying Shi Jing outside the operating room, and Doctor An Xu has been doing his best. We all believe that Shi Jing will be fine."

Mother Gu nodded, tears welling up in her eyes: "Thank you, Yanran. If it weren't for you, I really don't know what I would do."

Liu Yanran smiled and said, "Auntie, this is what I should do. Shi Jing is my friend, and I hope he can recover soon."

Gu Shiyuan's face was filled with worry, and his eyes kept looking towards the operating room door, as if he wanted to see through it to see what was going on inside. His hurried steps revealed his inner anxiety.

Although Liu Yanran comforted her, Mother Gu was still a little uneasy. Her hands were clenched tightly together, and her lips trembled slightly. Her eyes were full of concern and worry for Gu Shijing, and she would ask Gu Shiyuan some questions in a low voice from time to time.

Gu Shiyuan comforted his mother while anxiously waiting for the operation to end. His eyes never left the operating room door, as if he was waiting for a miracle to happen.

As time passed, the atmosphere outside the operating room grew increasingly tense. Gu Shiyuan and his mother's mood grew heavier, as they silently prayed for the operation to be successfully completed and for Gu Shijing to be safe.

Inside the operating room, An Xu worked closely with the professional doctors, who performed the operation with meticulous care, each movement filled with caution and concentration. As time ticked by, the operation went smoothly, the bullet was finally removed, and the patient's vital signs gradually stabilized.

An Xu took a deep breath, as if to release all the tension in her heart, then slowly pushed open the door of the operating room and walked out, relieved. Her eyes swept across the corridor and she saw Liu Yanran, a young man, and an aunt waiting outside with anxious faces. They might be Gu Shijing's family, and the three of them hurried forward to greet them.
