At around one in the morning, my uncle started to have a high fever. Liu Yanran expertly prepared anti-inflammatory and antipyretic drugs, then gently inserted the needle into my uncle's vein. Her movements were gentle and precise.
Because her uncle hadn't eaten for a long time, Liu Yanran knew that his body needed nutrition to recover. She carefully prepared a protein and glucose solution to ensure that her uncle would get enough energy.

Liu Yanran walked to the bedside and felt relieved to see that her uncle's complexion was much better than before.
She checked the progress of the infusion, took her uncle's hand, and massaged it gently, hoping to make him feel more comfortable.
After a long while, my uncle slowly opened his eyes. His eyes were a little confused, but soon they focused on Liu Yanran. He raised the corners of his mouth slightly, revealing a weak smile: "Yanran!"
Liu Yanran quickly stepped forward, her eyes full of worry and concern: "Uncle, how are you feeling now? Are you feeling unwell?"
