Chapter 6 The Farm is Here Too

Xu Miaomiao lay in bed at night, thinking about her next arrangements.

The first step is to sign up for going to the countryside. Now is the stage of active registration. If you go early, you can also choose the place you want to go.

The next thing is to go and see my grandparents. I haven't seen them for decades, including my previous life, so I feel a little nervous about home.

Finally, I want to write a letter to my brother Xu Xinghe who is serving in the army in Western Province. We had a fight when we met last time.

Her brother was six years older than her, so he took good care of her when she was a child and doted on this delicate sister who was much younger than him.

It’s just that Xu Miaomiao didn’t know how to judge people in his previous life and cut off all contact with his brother, otherwise those people wouldn’t dare to bully him like this.

Xu Miaomiao tossed and turned in bed, thinking about what to bring to visit her grandparents.

She thought it would be great if the farm was still there, as she had collected so many things during the years she lived alone.

As soon as this thought came to mind, Xu Miaomiao felt a flash of white light in front of her eyes, and when she opened her eyes again, she was standing in the familiar yard.

This is the villa that Chen Chen prepared for their future life. It is a three-story villa with bright windows and clean tables.

Xu Miaomiao looked at the scene in front of her and was ecstatic. She didn't expect that the farm had followed her!

Xu Miaomiao quickly pushed the door open and walked around the upstairs and downstairs. She found that the villa was exactly the same as it was before her death.

Everything was still there, even the cup of scented tea she drank before she died was still steaming on the coffee table.

Xu Miaomiao went to the yard again and looked at the farmland at the foot of the mountain. It was the same as before, except that the workers she had hired were gone. Only the yellow rice and corn were left.

Xu Miaomiao carefully examined the space and found that the fruit trees on the back mountain were still there, and many of them even had fruit.

The medicinal herbs planted in the medicine field are still there, and they are even growing better than before.

It seems that there is no distinction between the four seasons in this space, and crops in different seasons bloom and bear fruit at the same time.

Unfortunately, the farm at the foot of the mountain is now empty without a single animal, but the warehouse is still full of feed and other things.

After Xu Miaomiao inspected his territory, he was completely relieved.

With this space, there are many things I can do. You know, food is very precious at this time.

These dozens of acres of farmland at the foot of the mountain will definitely be enough to provide food and clothing for my family, and I can also feed Chen Chen as much as I want.

Xu Miaomiao returned to the villa and opened the refrigerator to see what was inside.

As a result, the refrigerator was full of various ingredients and fruits. Because Xu Miaomiao didn't want to go out, she hired an aunt to come every week to replenish her stock and clean the house.

At other times, she was alone in such a big villa. I guess her aunt came to replenish the stock in the refrigerator before she died.

Xu Miaomiao happily took the bunch of grapes and said to herself, "Go out, if you want to see the things in the space, then take them out."

I'd be so pissed if I couldn't take it out.

Xu Miaomiao felt like she was back in the bedroom. She quickly opened her eyes and saw the bunch of juicy grapes still in her hand.

This time Xu Miaomiao felt at ease and sat on the bed eating grapes with peace of mind.

Xu Miaomiao checked whether there was anything different on her body, wanting to see how this space came about.

Finally, she discovered something that did not belong to this era, a jade Buddha pendant that she had worn for decades in her previous life.

After Chen Chen's death, she was crazy superstitious for a while. When she heard that Maitreya Buddha was the Buddha of the future, she went to various temples to worship Buddha.

She wanted to pray for an afterlife for herself and Chen Chen. This Buddha statue was given to her by a high monk, and she wore it devoutly for many years.

I don’t know if this rebirth is due to this Buddha statue, but the space is definitely due to it.

Unexpectedly, after begging you for many years, she didn't get the afterlife, but instead got a chance to start over.

It can be considered as getting what I wanted.

Because of this unexpected surprise, Xu Miaomiao was so excited that she didn't sleep much all night and kept studying this space back and forth.

After a night of testing, she discovered several rules of space.

The space in the villa seemed to be still, because the cup of tea remained warm and did not cool down.

Moreover, the things you take out of the villa will be refreshed immediately after you leave.

But this is not the case with the farmlands at the foot of the mountain. The farmlands here seem to mature very quickly. Xu Miaomiao saw that it only took two hours for a vegetable to sprout from being planted.

The only drawback is that the crops here cannot be harvested according to her thoughts and can only be harvested manually.

Fortunately, the supporting modern machinery is still there, otherwise it would be a bit difficult for her to harvest by herself.

Although the animals in the farm at the foot of the mountain are gone, the fish in the lake in the backyard are still there.

Xu Miaomiao was thinking about visiting her grandparents tomorrow, so she was looking around the villa for something she could bring back.

This is milk powder for the elderly, take it with you!

This is fresh lamb, bring it!

This is fifty-year-old wild ginseng, take it with you!

This is a piece of fine cloth, carry it!

. . .

Xu Miaomiao looked at the pile of things and was a little worried about how she would carry them tomorrow.

After working all night, Xu Miaomiao finally felt sleepy at dawn.

She quickly fell asleep on the bed and didn't even hear Xu Jianshe knocking on the door and calling her to eat.

When Xu Miaomiao woke up, the sun was already high in the sky. She looked at her watch and it was already ten o'clock.
