The battle lasted for about an hour.
Most of the 10,000 rebels were killed, and the jungle was littered with corpses.
The sea breeze blew, stirring up a bloody mist that turned the leaves red.
Faris was brought in and made to kneel before Cai Rixin, his whole body trembling.
"Spare me! Spare me!" he screamed hysterically, banging his head against the ground. "I was forced! I can lead you the way! I'll give you all my money!"
Cai Rixin did not kill Faris immediately, but asked him some questions. Faris answered everything, only begging Cai Rixin not to kill him.
From Faris, Cai Rixin learned that the rebel army in the city had grown to 100,000, with almost half of the Yi people involved.
Faris knelt on the ground like a lowly servant, fawningly saying, "I'll take you to the shore right now!"
"No need. We have our own boats and feet. We don't need you to lead the way. We know the way to Guangzhou. We don't need your loyalty either. The emperor said that the only way to deal with enemies is to kill them all, leaving no one alive."
Faris was slightly taken aback, and then two Song soldiers came over and tied Faris up with thick ropes.
"Stop! I beg you! I beg you not to kill me, please don't kill me..."
Cai Rixin looked at him coldly: "Back then, many people in Guangzhou also begged you in the same way. Go to the underworld and talk to them!"
In no time, Faris was tied up tightly.
Then three Song soldiers carrying large iron hammers came over.
With one blow, Faris's left foot was deformed, and with a crack, the bones inside shattered into countless pieces.
To make sure all the bones inside were broken, he struck a second blow.
Faris screamed so hard that the veins on his forehead bulged, his eyes were bloodshot, and his mouth was wide open; he almost fainted.
The three then took turns smashing it with a hammer.
Faris struggled violently but was then pinned to the ground.
Soon, his feet and legs were smashed to pieces, the bones inside shattered.
He was in excruciating pain.
The three Song soldiers didn't stop, they continued to smash him, and soon his arms were also smashed to pieces.
All that remained was his body; his sternum was broken by the hammer, and Faris could no longer scream. His eyes were wide open as he stared at the sky, appearing to be in great pain.
After a few more blows, his internal organs were shattered.
Fresh blood and shattered internal organs were squeezed out of his mouth.
Faris died in agony.
After the body is smashed, the head is the last thing to be crushed.
He was hammered to a bloody pulp and stuck to the grass.
The sound of horns echoed through the jungle.
This means to keep moving forward.
Feng Bao laughed heartily. As a seasoned professional pirate, he was very familiar with the sound of the horn.
This is the naval horn. He and Xiao Yi have been fighting for several years, how could he not know?
"Xiao Yi, even if you blow the horn to pieces today, you still can't escape this calamity!"
He discovered that the Song soldiers' morale was indeed greatly boosted after hearing the naval horns.
But so what?
Do you think you can cause trouble with such a small group of people?
Feng Bao was extremely pleased. Being able to personally kill his number one rival of the past few years was a very pleasant thing in his life.
He'd already figured out how to celebrate: tonight, he'd go to Guangzhou and sleep with a few more women.
Feng Bao suddenly saw a blood-covered barbarian rush out of a grove of trees nearby.
This is indeed a barbarian, and his appearance is very different from that of a Han Chinese.
He didn't know why a barbarian covered in blood had suddenly rushed out, and he found it strange.
"Help...help..."
Then, the barbarian let out a pitiful cry.
Feng Bao was slightly taken aback. Before he could ask what had happened, several more people darted out of the woods.
They were all covered in blood, and two of them were hacked to pieces, panting heavily and crying for help.
"Feng Bao, save me!"
Another person came out. Feng Bao recognized this person. He was a commander under Faris, leading a force of five thousand men.
Just yesterday, Feng Bao gave him a lot of blue and white porcelain and beautiful women.
Seeing him like this here today, Feng Bao felt a little unreal.
Feng Bao felt a cold sweat run down his back: "What on earth happened?"
He had barely finished speaking when a gunshot rang out. The commander froze, his pupils contracted, and he tried to say something, but he collapsed to the ground, only exhaling and not inhaling.
Feng Bao was startled.
But then they saw a group of agile figures rushing towards them from the nearby jungle, looking just like a pack of tigers and wolves.
As more and more people arrived, Feng Bao's face grew increasingly grim.
"Oh no! Run!"
Feng Bao turned around, ran away with her greasy belly sticking out, the fat on her face jiggling up and down.
The pirates who were at the forefront fighting Xiao Yijun had no time to know what was happening before they were surrounded by the Song army.
They originally planned to join forces with Faris's army to encircle and attack Xiao Yi and Xu Yunsheng's armies, but now it seems they are surrounded by the Song army.
During the years Feng Bao was a pirate, he didn't master any other skills, but his ability to escape was first-rate.
Taking advantage of the crowd's panic, he quickly scurried into the bushes, tumbling and crawling until he disappeared into the thick, unnoticed grass, where he pretended to be dead.
He could see part of the scene outside through the blades of grass.
The scene was truly terrifying; he saw Song soldiers cutting up his pirate brothers like cabbages.
There was absolutely no chance of fighting back; all the pirates, whether they resisted or not, were chopped into mincemeat.
