Chapter 4 Arrangement

Chapter 4 Arrangement

Xu carried Ouyang Feiluo to a locked door, first put little Feiluo at the door, then took out a small key from the belt around her waist and opened the lock with a click.

Looking down at Ouyang Feiluo, who was slightly open-mouthed, Xu gently pushed open the door, then flew over and took down a lantern from the corridor outside. She stretched out her left hand, took Ouyang Feiluo's hand, and walked in, asking softly, "Luo'er, can you take all these?"

Ouyang Feiluo looked at the boxes and shelves that filled the room, nodded hurriedly, and then wherever his eyes went, he collected, collected, collected...

In a moment, the whole room was empty.

A smile flashed in Xu's eyes. No matter whether she would be exiled after noon tomorrow, she felt most at ease leaving these things with Luo'er. Those were originally Luo'er's dowry, so why not just consider it as giving them to her early.

The mother and daughter said nothing, went out, locked the door, and hung the lantern back up. Everything returned to normal, and then they walked towards Xu's house...

Xu had originally wanted to move out all the treasures in the main house, but thinking that her daughter was too young and was a little weak after just waking up, she gave up the idea and took her daughter back to her room.

Ouyang Feiluo was carried by Xu into a room with the lights on. The room was decorated in the simple style she liked. She looked around...

As I was looking at it, a deep voice sounded in my ears.

"Madam, it's great that Luo'er is awake. Luo'er, come here and let daddy hug you~" Ouyang Jin said as he put down the book in his hand and reached out to hug Ouyang Feiluo from Madam Xu's hands.

Ouyang Feiluo also cooperated and shouted, "Daddy."

Hearing his daughter's soft and cute voice, Ouyang Jin's heart almost melted, and he hurriedly said, "Hey, is our Luo'er hungry?"

"I've eaten. Mother fed me."

"I'm glad you've eaten. You just woke up and feel weak. Daddy will carry you to rest, okay?"

This was just a question, but Ouyang Jin, the slave girl, had already carried Ouyang Feiluo towards the inner room as soon as the words came out.

When Xu saw her, she was shocked! This master looks so contented with having a daughter. I really don’t know what to say.

Xu, who was a step behind, smiled and shook her head, turned around and closed the door, then quickly walked into the inner room. Looking at Ouyang Feiluo who was already lying on the bed, she said, "Luo'er, have a good sleep. If there's anything, we can talk about it after you wake up. Be good and be obedient."

Ouyang Feiluo, who had the mind of an adult but the body of a loli, understood what her mother meant, so she nodded, closed her eyes and went to sleep, but in fact she was studying her plane trading system.

The couple gently patted the quilt on Ouyang Feiluo, coaxed him for a while, and then signaled him to go to the outer room with their eyes.

Xu whispered a few words to Ouyang Jin, and Ouyang Jin's expression immediately changed. He whispered, "So that's how it is. This is probably true..."

Xu was shocked: "How do you say that?"

Ouyang Jin thought for a moment, then looked at his wife Xu solemnly and said, "Madam, I know you are good at martial arts. Please sort out your dowry, shop, farm, and other things, and send the contract for the yard and land we purchased back to my father-in-law."

Seeing her husband's expression, Xu knew that it was not an empty rumor, so she nodded and said, "I will give my mother the indentures of the maids and servants who came with the dowry, and let her make the decision. Master, is there anything else?"

Ouyang Jin sighed: "If it is true, it would be a pity for the books in our study..."

Xu took it and said proudly, "I'll pack it all up and send it to my parents' house. We'll contact them once we're settled and they'll send it over then."

After saying this, Xu took out a large red lacquer-carved box from the cabinet on the side of the dressing table, opened the box, removed the top partition, took out some papers from inside and began to read.

First, he folded the deeds to the shop, farm, and land and put them in his sleeve pocket. Then he took out the indenture and looked at it. After making sure it was correct, he folded it and put it in the belt compartment around his waist.

Everything was ready. She pointed to her daughter lying on the bed and told Ouyang Jin to keep an eye on her. Then, she walked out of the room, used her Qinggong skills, and flew away...

Xu, whose surname is Xu and whose name is Yuzhu, is the youngest in the family. She has two older brothers and one older sister. Although she is just a girl, she has been spoiled by the whole family since she was a child.

My father, Xuzhou, was once a military general. Although he is now idle at home, he still has his own unique insights into the government affairs of Wuxi State.

The mother, Qi Le, was well-educated, polite and amiable. Although she had long since let her two sons and daughters-in-law live on their own, they still lived in the same house, lived in harmony and were very happy.

In the time it took to drink a cup of tea, Xu Yuzhu flew into the yard from the side door of the Xu family.

Just after landing and taking two steps, I heard a voice as loud as a bell: "Who is it?"

Hearing the voice, Xu Yuzhu hurriedly said, "Fushun, it's me, Second Miss. Stop shouting and take me to see my father quickly."

Hearing Xu Yuzhu's anxious voice, the man called Fushun hurriedly said, "Second Miss, Second Miss, please follow me."

With Fushun's clever guidance, Xu Yuzhu bypassed the people in the mansion and came to her father's study: "Second Miss, the master is in the study."

"Well, please watch over here for a while." She knocked on the door twice and said, "Father, I'm Yuzhu."

Hearing a knock on the door, Xuzhou put down the book in his hand and was about to ask when he heard a familiar voice and hurriedly said, "Come in."

Xu Yuzhu entered the study, and Xuzhou asked anxiously: "Zhu'er, what happened and why did you come back so late at night?"

"Dad, calm down and listen to me. Something might have happened to the Ouyang family recently, and I'm afraid it will be inconvenient, so I brought these deeds back to you and give them to you for safekeeping."

As she spoke, Xu Yuzhu took out the deed from her sleeve pocket and waist, placed it on the table, and continued, "If my daughter is not in the capital, if the younger generation of the family needs money for anything in the future, Dad can get it from here."

"Also, these are the indentures of the maids and servants who came with me as a dowry to the Ouyang family. I have released some of them over the years. You can let mother make the decision on these."

After finishing her words, Xu Yuzhu stood in front of her father Xuzhou, knelt down with a thud, kowtowed three times, and then stood up with the help of her father. With tears in her eyes, she looked at her father, whose temples were already gray, and said, "Take care," and then turned and left.

Looking at his daughter who came and went so quickly, Xuzhou's intuition was triggered. The first thing he thought of was what he had heard a few days ago. A bad thought arose in his heart...

Looking at the contract on the table, Xuzhou pondered for a moment, then shouted towards the door of the study: "Someone, someone~"

Fushun, who was assigned by Xu Yuzhu to guard outside the study door, responded hurriedly: "Master."

Seeing Fushun, Xuzhou's eyes flashed with a daze, and then he hurriedly ordered: "Hurry up and inform the master, the first lady, the second master, the second lady, and the old lady to come to the study, quickly!"

Fushun heard this and thought to himself: Oh no! Something big must have happened!

He responded and left the study as quickly as possible to go to the old lady's place, then went to the yards of the eldest and second masters, and eagerly repeated the master's words. Then he felt a gust of wind blowing by his side, and looked carefully. Where was the person?

Having said that, Fushun let out a breath, quickly returned to the study door, and acted as a gatekeeper.
