As soon as he finished speaking, a man in black appeared on each of Lin Xi's left and right sides.
The two men in black had ferocious expressions on their faces, their cold eyes fixed on Lin Xi, filled with murderous intent.
Lin Xi's face turned ashen as he said, "So it was you. You actually colluded with that old man to try and harm me."
One of the men in black sneered, "Second Young Master, stop resisting and come back with us, or you'll face the consequences!"
"Hmph, they won't shed a tear until they see the coffin."
After finishing speaking, Lin Xi took out the spirit beast pouch, threw it forward, and ordered, "Detain him and come back with me. I will personally interrogate him and he will not be allowed to hide anything."
The two men in black chuckled, took the spirit beast pouch, and then walked up to Ye Haowen, grabbed his shoulders, and intended to take him away.
Suddenly, Lin Xi channeled spiritual energy into the spirit beast pouch, and the pouch instantly released a powerful suction force, pulling Ye Haowen into it.
The two men in black were shocked and quickly released their grip.
They stared wide-eyed at the spirit beast pouch, their faces filled with horror, and asked incredulously, "How did this spirit beast pouch end up in your hands?"
"Hmph, how dare you covet what's mine?"
Lin Xi snorted coldly and said contemptuously, "Now, tell me where you come from and who is directing you?"
"We are disciples of the Qingyun Sect, here on our master's orders to take your life!"
A man in black gritted his teeth and stared coldly at Lin Xi.

Lin Xi's expression changed slightly, then a cold smile appeared on his lips: "So you're from the Qingyun Sect. It seems you've been ordered to kill me."
"Since that's the case, don't blame me for being ruthless."

A man in black replied, "We are under orders from our sect to assassinate you. Our purpose is to eliminate you, and regardless of the reason, this outcome is something you could not have predicted."

A man in black's expression changed drastically, anger surging in his eyes, and he struck Lin Xi with both hands simultaneously.
The continuous palm prints covered Lin Xi like a net.

"Hmph, you think you can hurt me? You're just delusional."
Lin Xi's eyes were full of contempt as he threw a punch.
Those palm prints shattered instantly.
At that moment, the other men in black rushed forward and launched a joint attack.
But Lin Xi, as the sixty-first ranked expert on the Heavenly Ranking, amazed them with his power.
In the blink of an eye, he had defeated them all.
Lin Xi, however, was unharmed, without losing any spiritual energy whatsoever.
Withdrawing his aura, Lin Xi walked towards the two corpses and then bent down.
When he touched their bodies, he was surprised to find a strange pattern on their skin, which seemed to be wriggling as if it were alive.

Lin Xi frowned and quickly shook her head, trying to shake off the influence of the sound.
"What exactly is going on?"
Lin Xi frowned, deep in thought, when an image suddenly entered his mind, followed by a surge of spiritual power that penetrated the depths of his brain.
Lin Xi's pupils shrank sharply, and a look of horror appeared on his face.
His soul power was being manipulated!
He understood that this must be a backup plan left behind by those two people.
Lin Xi quickly closed her eyes, trying to get rid of this interference.
However, that soul force was exceptionally stubborn, giving him no peace whatsoever.
"Damn it!"
Lin Xi let out a low roar, his spiritual power surging forth to force back the soul power that had invaded his mind.
However, the bodies of the two men in black were completely dead, bearing no resemblance to their former appearance.
Lin Xi's divine sense once again probed into their sea of consciousness, attempting to understand the situation.
However, nothing was found.
"No, we must get rid of them as soon as possible." Lin Xi's face was extremely gloomy.
He never expected these people to be so cunning, setting a trap for him.
Lin Xi took a deep breath, her eyes shining with determination.
