The early autumn night was slightly cool.
After his classmates and friends from the karaoke session dispersed, Huo Yunchao pulled his hoodie over his head and strode confidently toward the campus.
Xue Qiandai followed behind with small, quick steps.
Good heavens, she was wearing ten-centimeter high heels.
She loves high heels. Not only do they make her proportions more perfect, but more importantly, high heels give her an aura of power; she's used to being a queen.
However, Huo Yunchao, showing no mercy, walked too fast, and her feet started to hurt.
"Beautiful Huo, you like me too, don't you?"
"You drove away my admirers, so give me back what's rightfully mine."
“If you don’t like me, then you have no right to do these things.”
"Huo Yunchao! My feet hurt so much! Ah!"
She cried out in surprise, fell to the ground, and twisted her ankle.
Huo Yunchao turned around and saw the girl, dressed in understated luxury, lying in the dust. Her eyes were glistening, and she bit her lip as she looked at him, trying to hold back her tears.
Silence speaks louder than words.
He was at his wit's end. Ignoring her didn't work, and so did beating her up. What could he do?
He bent down, lifted her fair ankle, and massaged the joint. Xue Qiandai let out another soft cry.
"Can you still walk?"
Xue Qiandai shook her head like a rattle-drum, her eyes innocent and pure.
My goodness, how could she act so realistically? She's a true acting genius!
Huo Yunchao thought for a moment, then knelt on one knee and bowed in front of her, turning his back to her.
"Come up."
Xue Qiandai swiftly threw herself onto his back—oh, the beautiful man's back—and rubbed her face against it before wrapping her arms around his waist.
It feels really good.
Huo Meiren felt a tingling sensation in her spine, and her whole body reacted.
And so, carrying Xue Qiandai on his back, he walked back to campus.
The atmosphere was silent for a moment, but Xue Qiandai, who was very talkative, quickly broke the deadlock.
"Beautiful Huo, where are we going?"
"Beauty, beauty," Huo Meiren was practically immune to that title. He gritted his teeth, "The school clinic, I'll take you to see a doctor."
Is this a case of fortunes changing? She just told him to see a doctor.
"No need, no need," Xue Qiandai smiled foolishly, "You are my doctor. Just spend more time with me, and I'll be fine."
What a silly girl!

Huo Yunchao reasoned with her and appealed to her emotions, hoping she would back down.

Huo Yunchao couldn't help but laugh. He thought she would change herself like many girls who love to the point of self-sacrifice, but she was still incorrigible.
"I admire unwavering love, where once you've chosen someone, you stay with them forever. Not someone who's so fickle!"
"A...a womanizer?" Xue Qiandai finally lost her composure. Her romantic history was too rich; her exes stretched from the dorm to the school hospital. "But, why did you show up so late? If you had shown up earlier, I would still be alone."
What a plausible reason!

"I heard that you dated different people in the first two semesters." Huo Yunchao finally unleashed his trump card.
"Huh? You investigated me?" Xue Qiandai panicked again, her voice trembling with tears. "Beauty Huo, yes, I did have my share of women before, but it was just for admiring. I can't change my past, but since meeting you, of all the beauties in the world, I'll only choose one. You have to believe me."
What followed was a long silence.
Xue Qiandai heard heavy breathing. Although she had a good figure, she was still a little under 100 pounds and had been carrying him for so long.
"Beautiful Huo, are you tired?"
"I can walk by myself, I can manage."
"Beautiful Huo, you should give us a straight answer about our relationship. If you don't say anything, I'll just tacitly allow you to continue pursuing me."

Huo Yunchao grabbed one of her hands, her fingers as slender as spring onions, and gently stroked them. "I'm telling you, if you mess with me, you have to take full responsibility for me."
"Beauty Huo, could you please stop calling me Xue Qiandai all the time? It's too formal."
Huo Yunchao raised his finger and gently stroked her cheek, as if plucking a string in her heart. "Dai Dai, I'm saying that since we're both in love with each other, we should hold hands and walk together forever, never leaving each other."
Happiness came too suddenly.
Xue Qiandai climbed onto his neck again, "My beauty, even if you try to drive me away, I won't leave. I've decided on you."
The stars in the sky were not as bright as her eyes at that moment.
Huo Yunchao recalled Xue Qiandai's appearance in the KTV, turned his head, and pressed his lips to hers.
Let him savor this handful of sweetness and savory flavor.
However, Huo Yunchao overestimated his self-control and underestimated Xue Qiandai's kissing skills and charm. Once he started kissing her, he couldn't stop, and it lasted for a full five minutes.
