I encountered some unpleasantness in the comments section a couple of days ago, and out of a desire to avoid it, I didn't log in to the page, so I haven't updated it.
I apologize to those who were following my updates.
I've been trying to calm myself down these past two days, and I've also accumulated some things I want to say.
First and foremost, it's about character.
Everyone has different preferences, and no one can write a perfect article, so controversy is inevitable. However, I hope everyone can engage in civilized discussion. If you don't like my writing, just click the "X" button. If you really can't help but say something, you can say you don't like it, but please refrain from insults, slander, or personal attacks. I would greatly appreciate any constructive suggestions you may offer.
Then comes the creative spirit.
Writing here is a form of self-regulation. I no longer want to be limited by writing topics, content, or so-called popular themes. For me, rediscovering my original passion through writing here is more meaningful than making money, so I don't charge. I can also release the document after it's finished. Therefore, I want to emphasize again that if you don't like this story, you don't have to read it. You haven't lost anything, and there's no need for you to lose your basic human decency because of me. If you insist on a confrontation, I won't back down.
Finally, I'd like to express my anger as a creator.
It was just an insult, why did you take it so seriously?
Because I thought of two things.
The first story involves a novice writer, filled with uncertainty and eagerness, attempting to publish her first piece of writing. She wasn't sure if it was good or not, and there were likely many areas for improvement, but she wanted to try because she loved creating. However, she encountered some irresponsible insults and slander against her work and even herself. She became afraid to continue writing and gave up.
The second incident involved a female writer who already had many fans. Her works had a distinct personal style, and while many liked her, some disliked her. However, those who disliked her, for reasons unknown, seemed to have their entire lives ruined by reading her writing, relentlessly attacking and venting their negative emotions. Eventually, she stopped writing. Her readers could no longer read her work.
These two situations have happened to creators I know.
I don't want to say anything more, I just hope everyone can understand that online verbal violence can indeed cause harm, and that creators' hearts are sensitive and fragile.
Lastly, I've seen the support from some readers since the book went live today, and I'm truly grateful. Your kindness towards me and this work is truly heartwarming. In any case, I will at least continue writing this book for all of you.
