"Guards, come and protect me!"
As soon as Liu Sisi finished speaking, the eunuch beside Emperor Guang Sheng hurriedly called out.
Then a group of guards came in from outside. Liu Sisi was not afraid of them. She took out her sword and stabbed at Emperor Guang Sheng.
No guards could match her speed. Just as Liu Sisi was about to stab Emperor Guang Sheng, a woman in black flew down from the Golden Palace.
She blocked Liu Sisi's sword with something she didn't know how to do. Liu Sisi took a step back and looked closely. It turned out to be a bone knife made of human bones.
The woman had black lips, mostly whites in her eyes, a bluish-purple birthmark on her face, and a hairpin in her hair that looked like it was made of human bone.
She didn't look like a living person at all, giving off a sinister and terrifying feeling.
"Black Butterfly, go easy on her. Don't smudge her face. She's a perfect work of art; I want to admire her properly!"
Emperor Guang Sheng's voice sounded calm, yet it sent chills down one's spine.
As soon as the black butterfly appeared, even the guards at the door quietly retreated a little.
"Sisi, this person is not simple. He probably has some tricks up his sleeve. Be careful."
Xi Yu observed the situation outside from within the space, sensing a dangerous aura emanating from the woman.
"Yes, don't worry, I know what I'm doing."
Suddenly, Black Butterfly moved. Holding a bone knife, she rushed towards Liu Sisi like a ghost, wanting to quickly finish her off.
Liu Sisi dodged her attack and exchanged a few blows with her sword before knocking Black Butterfly's bone knife away.
Seeing that she couldn't defeat Liu Sisi in a head-on confrontation, Black Butterfly took out a triangular-shaped musical instrument from her person and started playing it.
The sound it made was eerie and sent chills down your spine.
Upon hearing the noise, the guards behind Liu Sisi quietly withdrew and closed the door.
Then, the wooden planks on the ground in front of Liu Sisi suddenly moved, burst open, and revealed a series of bloody corpses.
Some of these corpses had no eyes, some had their internal organs ripped out, and some had no ears. All sorts of gruesome corpses surged toward Liu Sisi in a bizarre posture.
His hand reached towards Liu Sisi, swinging rapidly and mechanically, as if trying to tear her apart.
If Liu Sisi hadn't spent so many days on the battlefield and developed a certain level of patience, she definitely would have vomited upon seeing these corpses.
Liu Sisi quickly leaped backward, simultaneously slashing one of the corpses with her sword.
The corpse was instantly cleaved in two, but it quickly came back together and continued to attack Liu Sisi.
Seeing this, Liu Sisi thought of the corpse-driving technique in Xiangxi. It seemed that this Black Butterfly knew how to control corpses, and that she had added some special functions to these corpses, making them impossible to kill.
Liu Sisi kept hacking at the corpses rushing towards her, and her somewhat awkward situation made Emperor Guang Sheng feel much better.
He then said with a smile, "Princess Anning, just give in to me! There are so many fun things to do every day with me, how wonderful! I can play with these corpses with you."
It would have been fine if he hadn't made a sound, but as soon as he did, Liu Sisi wanted to kill him because of his disgusting voice.
She enlarged her sword and with one strike cut the last corpse that was approaching her.
He then quickly flew to Emperor Guang Sheng's side and dropped a mute pill into his mouth.
His father-in-law tried to stop Liu Sisi, but she kicked him away, and his head hit a pillar, knocking him unconscious.
Having dealt with the nauseating sound, Liu Sisi used the power of the seventh level of the Jade Goddess Palm to strike Black Butterfly's chest.
Black Butterfly didn't expect Liu Sisi to move so fast. She didn't have time to dodge and was slammed out of the door, which was even knocked off its hinges.
The strange triangular instrument in her hand was also smashed.
As soon as the music stopped, the corpses all stopped moving and collapsed to the ground.
Black Butterfly coughed up a mouthful of black blood, yet she was still able to get up. Liu Sisi didn't give her a chance, and directly took out a handful of Red Lotus Pear Blossom Needles from her space, striking her between the eyebrows.
She was truly unable to move now, and her body fell straight down.
The guards tried to step forward to protect the emperor, but Liu Sisi kicked them all down one by one.
Now only Emperor Guang Sheng remains in the entire palace. He has taken a drug to make him mute and cannot speak or issue any orders to protect him.
But his gaze towards Liu Sisi remained playful, without a trace of fear, as if he were unafraid of death.
As Liu Sisi approached him, intending to finish him off, he moved, also holding a bone knife in his hand, attempting to ambush Liu Sisi.
However, his movements seemed very slow to Liu Sisi, so slow that she didn't even need to dodge.
With just a slight exertion of force, he broke Emperor Guang Sheng's wrist and then pushed him hard, causing Emperor Guang Sheng to plunge the bone knife into his own heart.
Soon, he stopped breathing, a sinister smile still lingering on his lips as he died.
Liu Sisi stepped forward, kicked him off the dragon throne, and stored him in her spatial storage.
She planned to send Emperor Guang Sheng's body to those small countries so they could vent their anger. After all, their princes had all died tragically at his hands, and it was difficult to take the living people with her; only the corpses could be taken.
He then left a piece of paper.
The paper read: "Emperor Guang Sheng was cruel, bloodthirsty, and utterly wicked. He was inhuman. I acted on behalf of Heaven and killed him to prevent any more innocent people from being persecuted by him. I took his body with me; there's no need to look for it."
Whoever becomes the emperor of the Jin-Liao Kingdom in the future must be diligent in governing and love the people, do practical things for the people, and not provoke wars that cause the people to suffer.
