Chapter 156: Thank you! You are mine

Chapter 156: Thank you! You are mine

Yun Zheng's swimsuit is a skirt, spread out in the hot spring, shining like a pearl in the mist.

She pulled away from the man's arms and took two steps back, her lower back pressed against the carved wall of the hot spring pool, the chill making her shiver.

Fu Linghe was afraid that she would bump into something, so he immediately placed his hand behind her waist.

He noticed her stiffness and was also amused by her. He chuckled and let go of her hand.

Yun Zheng immediately dodged and put some distance between them, her cheeks flushed a light pink.

Fu Linghe leaned against the edge of the pool and closed his eyes. Water droplets slid down the ends of his hair, dripped onto his shoulders, and slowly flowed down his strong chest, carrying a lazy and charming atmosphere.

The corners of his lips curled up slightly, and his voice was low and gentle, "I won't tease you anymore, just soak for a while."

The hot spring is surrounded by lush greenery, as if you are in a hidden paradise.

The branches and leaves of the tall trees intertwined, blocking part of the sky, leaving only a few rays of golden sunlight to shine through the gaps onto the water, creating ripples.

The rocks by the pool were covered with moss, which looked particularly soft and wet.

The steam from the hot spring rises and merges with the surrounding mist, shrouding the entire environment in a hazy atmosphere.

Occasionally, the sound of birds singing can be heard from the treetops, clear and melodious, adding a bit of vitality to the quietness.

Yun Zheng took a deep breath, feeling the fresh scent of grass, trees and flowers in the air, and her mood gradually calmed down.

Yun Zheng sank her body into the hot spring, the warm water wrapped around her, and all her fatigue and tension were melted away bit by bit by the gentle spring water.

Her eyes involuntarily fell on Fu Linghe, who was resting with his eyes closed opposite her.

He was still leaning against the edge of the pool, eyes closed, water droplets sliding down his chin and dripping onto his chest, with a casualness and a hint of laziness.

Yun Zheng's gaze lingered on his face for a moment, and her heart beat involuntarily faster.

She looked at him quietly, from his high nose bridge to his slightly pursed thin lips, to his well-defined jaw, every part seemed as perfect as if carefully carved.

She couldn't help but sigh that he was so handsome that it made people jealous...

Yun Zheng was watching intently when Fu Linghe suddenly opened his eyes and his deep gaze met hers.

Yun Zheng was caught off guard and hurriedly lowered her head, her cheeks instantly turning a deeper shade of red.

There is nothing more embarrassing in this world than being caught peeking.

"Have you seen enough?" Fu Linghe's voice was low and gentle with a hint of teasing, and seemed to carry a hint of smile.

He tilted his head slightly and looked at her with burning eyes, with a hint of questioning in his eyes, trying to see through her thoughts.

Yun Zheng bit her lip, trying to hide her panic, her voice so soft that it was almost inaudible, "I...I wasn't looking at you."

"Oh?" Fu Linghe chuckled, a hint of teasing in his voice, "Then who was staring at me without blinking just now?"

Yun Zheng's face turned even redder, like a ripe apple, and even her ears were dyed pink.

She shrank back into the water, trying to use the steam to hide her embarrassment, "You... don't talk nonsense."

Fu Linghe looked at her flustered look and smiled even more deeply.

He slowly stood up from the edge of the pool and moved closer to her, the water rippling gently with his movements.

His voice was low and gentle, with a hint of teasing, "Since you haven't seen it, you can watch it openly now."

Yun Zheng was forced into a corner with nowhere to hide, so she could only raise her head and meet his smiling eyes.

Her heart beat faster, as if it was about to jump out of her chest.

She opened her mouth, but didn't know what to say. In the end, she could only mutter softly, "You...you don't come so close."

Fu Linghe chuckled softly and reached out to pinch her cheek gently, his movements gentle and doting. "Zheng Zheng, are you still so shy?"

Yun Zheng was made even more flustered by his sudden intimate behavior, and quickly shrank back, trying to keep some distance.

But Fu Linghe seemed to be teasing her on purpose and moved closer until they were so close that they could feel each other's breath.

"Fu Linghe!" Yun Zheng finally couldn't help it and called his name in a low voice, with a hint of embarrassment in her voice.

Fu Linghe looked at her embarrassed and annoyed expression, and finally couldn't help laughing out loud.

He withdrew his hand and leaned back against the pool, his tone relaxed and cheerful, "Okay, let's soak for a while and then go have lunch. But if you want to watch, you can watch anytime, no need to be sneaky."

Yun Zheng was left in a state of confusion by his words. She could only glare at him, but she found that she couldn't get angry at all.

For the next half hour, Fu Linghe kept his word and stopped teasing Yun Zheng. The temperature of the hot spring water gradually made people feel a little tired.

Yun Zheng breathed a sigh of relief and stood up from the water. Her wet hair stuck to her neck and water droplets slid down her skin.

Fu Linghe stood up from the poolside, and water droplets slid down his chest, outlining his strong muscles.

He casually picked up a towel beside him and wiped his hair, but his eyes were always on Yun Zheng in the hot spring, with a gentle smile.

"Let's go, it's time for lunch." He whispered, with a hint of laziness in his voice.

Yun Zheng nodded and stepped out of the hot spring pool carefully.

The moss by the pool was slippery, and as soon as she stepped on it, she felt unstable.

She subconsciously reached out to hold onto the rock next to her, but still couldn't steady her body. Her foot slipped and she fell backwards.

"Ah——" she cried softly, her heartbeat suddenly accelerating.

But the expected pain did not come.

A pair of strong arms caught her steadily and held her in their arms.

Fu Linghe's breath instantly surrounded her, carrying the warmth of a hot spring and a hint of fragrance.

"Be careful, the moss by the pool is slippery." His voice was low and gentle, with a hint of nervousness. "Are you hurt?"

Yun Zheng's face turned red instantly, and her hand unconsciously grabbed Fu Linghe's arm, her fingertips trembling slightly.

She raised her head and met his deep eyes, and for a moment she forgot what to say.

When she came to her senses, she hurriedly broke free from his arms, "I...I'm fine, let me go."

It was a rare opportunity for his wife to throw herself into his arms, so Fu Linghe naturally wouldn't let go so easily.

He smiled gently, suddenly bent down, put one arm around her back, and passed the other arm through her knees, holding her up sideways.

"Fu Linghe!" Yun Zheng exclaimed, and subconsciously wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Didn't you twist your ankle?" Fu Linghe looked down at her, his tone teasing, "I'll carry you back so you don't fall again."

Yun Zheng opened her mouth and wanted to refute, but found that her ankle was indeed aching slightly, and she couldn't find a suitable reason to refuse for a moment.

She could only bury her face in his chest, trying to hide her embarrassment.

Fu Linghe held her in his arms and walked steadily along the path beside the pond.

His chest was warm and solid, and Yun Zheng could clearly feel his heartbeat, steady and powerful.

Her cheek rested against his chest, and her breath was filled with his faint fragrance, mixed with the steam from the hot spring, making her feel a little dizzy.

The surrounding scenery slowly receded beside the two of them. The tall trees cast mottled shadows, and a few rays of sunlight shone through the branches and leaves onto them, adding a bit of warmth.

Yun Zheng's heartbeat gradually calmed down, replaced by an indescribable sense of security.

She secretly raised her head and glanced at Fu Linghe, and found that his profile looked particularly soft in the sunlight, with the corners of his lips slightly raised, with a faint smile.

A warm feeling suddenly surged in her heart, "Thank you, Fu Linghe."

Fu Linghe lowered his head and glanced at her, his eyes gentle and deep, "Why thank me? You are mine, it's my duty to take care of you."
