Chapter 365 Why do you remember everyone but forget me?

Chapter 365 Why do you remember everyone but me?

Yun Zheng's illness came and went quickly. She had a fever all night, took antipyretics and lay down for a day, but was full of energy and vitality in the evening.

She was tired from running around in the ward and was now sitting on the big bed in the S VIP ward in a daze.

Fu Linghe thought her energy had been almost exhausted, but she didn't know that someone was holding back a big one!

"Take a shower and go to bed, or take a shower later?"

Fu Linghe walked to the bedside, reached out to test the temperature of her forehead, and his tone was so gentle that water could drip out of it.

Yun Zheng sat cross-legged, her hands resting on the big bed behind her, looking up at the man.

After a moment, she beckoned him.

Fu Linghe's silver hair shone coldly under the light, making his angular face look even more handsome.

He raised his eyebrows slightly, leaned closer to her obediently, a faint smile on his lips, "What's wrong?"

Yun Zheng suddenly reached out and grabbed his tie, pulling him closer, their noses almost touching.

She blinked her eyes, which were still moist from her illness, and smiled slyly, "I want to go out for a drink."

Fu Linghe was obviously stunned, and his dark pupils suddenly shrank.

He straightened up, the tie still in her hand, and said incredulously, "Say that again?"

"I said..." Yun Zheng loosened his tie, knelt up, leaned close to his ear, and spoke in a long tone, "I want to go drink, now! Right now! Right now!"

Fu Linghe's ears turned red from the hot air she exhaled, but he still frowned, "You were still running a fever last night."

"But I'm fine now!" Yun Zheng jumped off the bed and turned around in front of him. "Look, I'm full of life!"

She was now wearing a shirt of Fu Linghe, the hem of which just covered her thighs, revealing a piece of fair skin as she spun.

Fu Linghe's Adam's apple rolled, and he turned away from him, "No."

"Fu Linghe!" Yun Zheng pounced on him from behind and hung around his neck, swaying like a koala. "I've been bored for so long, just take me out to relax!"

"Drinking isn't the only way to relax." He held her knee with his backhand, fearing she would fall, but his tone remained firm.

Yun Zheng buried her face in the crook of his neck, her hair brushing against his protruding Adam's apple. "Please, I just want to have a little drink today. I'll die if I don't!"

"Don't worry, I'm a good drinker and I won't eat you after drinking." She continued to seduce him, her soft lips accidentally brushing against his carotid artery.

Fu Linghe suddenly turned around and pushed her against the wall, his silver hair falling down to cover his eyebrows and eyes. "Yun Zheng, did you do this on purpose?"

The ceiling light in the ward cast a shadow on his well-defined face. Although it was an oppressive posture, the hand supporting her knee was extremely gentle.

Yun Zheng took the opportunity to kiss his chin, "Did you fall for it?"

Five minutes later, Fu Linghe packed her things with a sullen face, while Yun Zheng was humming a song as she took out the black suspender dress her mother-in-law had prepared for her from the suitcase.

He turned around and saw her barefoot on the carpet tying her skirt, her snow-white waist faintly visible.

Fu Linghe sighed, took out a pair of socks from the drawer, squatted down, and said, "Lift your feet."

"What have I done to deserve Mr. Fu to serve me personally?" Yun Zheng held his shoulders and stood on one leg.

He pinched her cold toes and gently put on her socks. "If you go out wearing so little, you can't just take some medicine to reduce the fever if you get a fever again..."

While he was talking, Yun Zheng suddenly lowered her head, and her soft lips accurately sealed his unfinished warning.

Fu Linghe's squatting posture gave her a rare opportunity to look down at him. Her fingertips naturally slipped into the silver hair on the back of his head. The hair was cool and smooth like silk wrapped around her fingers.

"Mr. Fu's medicine is much more effective than antipyretics." A sly smile flashed in Yun Zheng's eyes, like a little fox who had succeeded.

Fu Linghe felt that Yun Zheng was a little strange these two days. He seemed much more lively than in the past few days, and was no longer as distant as he had been when he first learned that Yun Zheng's memory stopped at the age of 17.

But he didn't have time to think about it, so he took a pair of shoes and gave it to her, "Put them on yourself."

After saying that, he turned around and found a woolen coat, put it on her and then took her out.

The Maybach sped through the night, and Yun Zheng looked at the night view outside the window, feeling extremely excited.

Half an hour later, the car stopped steadily in front of the Twilight Bar.

Twilight Bar is located in the most prosperous city center and is a famous den of money-losing in Country A.

Neon lights flickered in the night, luxury cars were parked at the door, well-dressed men and women were coming in and out, and the air was filled with the mixed scent of alcohol and perfume.

Fu Linghe parked the car and glanced sideways at Yun Zheng who was sitting in the passenger seat.

He reached out and rubbed the top of her head, his tone helpless and doting, "Don't drink too much later, do you hear me?"

Yun Zheng nodded with a smile, "I know, I know!"

This was actually Fu Linghe's first time here, but he never liked noisy environments, so he just booked a private room.

As soon as Yun Zheng entered the room, she excitedly rushed to the floor-to-ceiling window, overlooking the night view of the entire city. The neon lights reflected tiny lights in her eyes.

"Fu Linghe! It's so beautiful here!" She turned around and smiled at him, her eyes sparkling.

Fu Linghe stood at the door, looking at her excited expression, and the corners of his lips curled up slightly.

"Come here and order some wine." He held out his hand to her.

Yun Zheng came back skipping and jumping, threw herself into his arms, looked up and asked, "What do you want to drink?"

"I don't drink." He put one arm around her waist and took the drink list with the other hand, glancing at it. "I'll order you a fruit wine first."

"No!" Yun Zheng protested, "I want the strongest drink!"

Fu Linghe raised an eyebrow, "Are you sure?"

"Of course!" she swore. "I can drink quite well!"

Fu Linghe looked at her confident look, a hint of amusement flashed in his eyes, and he finally ordered her a Long Island Iced Tea.

They were in the VIP box, and just as the drink order was placed, there was a knock on the door.

The waiter pushed in an exquisite dining cart, which contained not only drinks but also several plates of snacks.

"Please enjoy the Long Island Iced Tea you ordered." The waiter placed an amber-colored highball glass in front of Yun Zheng, with a slice of lemon on the rim.

Yun Zheng reached out to take it impatiently, but Fu Linghe grabbed her wrist.

"Eat something first." He pushed a small plate of cheesecake in front of her. "Drinking on an empty stomach will make you drunk easily and upset your stomach."

Well...it turns out that she can get drunk easily even if she doesn't drink on an empty stomach!

"I can drink quite well." Yun Zheng poked the cake with a fork, but her eyes were fixed on the wine glass.

The condensed water droplets on the wall of the cup slid down, leaving dark marks on the black marble table.

Fu Linghe loosened his tie, and his silver hair shone like satin under the ambiguous light.

The lights in the box were dim and the music was low and ambiguous.

After taking a few bites of the cake, Yun Zheng couldn't hold back any longer. She picked up the wine on the table impatiently and drank half a glass.

"Bang!"

The next second, she fell directly into Fu Linghe's arms, her cheeks flushed, her eyes blurred, and her fingers still clutching the collar of his shirt.

Fu Linghe: “…”

He looked down at her and said in a low voice, "Is this what you call 'good drinking'?"

Yun Zheng blinked, her eyelashes were wet, as if covered with a layer of mist.

She looked up at him, and suddenly reached out to touch his silver hair, muttering softly, "Fu Linghe, why... are you so handsome..."

Fu Linghe's Adam's apple rolled, and he reached out to hold her wrist, his voice slightly hoarse, "Don't move!"

"I didn't move..." She pursed her lips in grievance, her eyes suddenly reddened, "I just... wanted to touch you... Is that not okay?"

Fu Linghe was stunned and realized that she was in a bad mood. Just as he was about to speak, he saw her tears falling.

"Why..." Her voice choked, "Tell me why you remember everyone but only forget me?"

Fu Linghe's heart suddenly sank.

She cried quietly, tears rolling down her cheeks, as if the emotions that had been suppressed for a long time finally collapsed.

He subconsciously raised his hand to wipe away her tears. When his fingertips touched her warm skin, his heart felt like it was stabbed by something.

"Zheng Zheng..." His voice was low and hoarse, with a panic that he himself didn't even realize.

"Don't you want to remember me at all?" She sobbed, tears falling harder and harder. "Don't you want to remember me at all?"

Fu Linghe's breathing stopped, and his heart seemed to be gripped by an invisible hand.

He suddenly grabbed the back of her head, pressed her into his arms, and said in a hoarse voice, "No."

"Then why..." She clutched his collar tightly, shaking with tears, "Why did it have to be me..."

Fu Linghe closed his eyes and tightened his knuckles.

He doesn't know either.

Why did his memory stop at the age of seventeen? Everyone remembered it, but the part about her was blank.

She is obviously the most important person in his life, but why does his memory stop at the age of 17? Why is she the only one he has forgotten?

"Zheng Zheng..." He lowered his head, resting his forehead against hers, his voice low, "I'm sorry."

She cried even harder, her tears soaking his shirt, the scorching temperature seemed to burn through his skin.

"I don't want to be sorry..." She sobbed, "I want you to... remember..."

Fu Linghe's heart ached. He brushed the corner of her eye with his fingertips and said in a low voice, "I'll remember it."

"Really?" She raised her tearful eyes to look at him.

"Yes." Fu Linghe lowered his head and gently kissed away the tears from the corners of her eyes. "I promise."

Yun Zheng stared at him blankly, then suddenly reached out to hold his face, her alcoholic breath brushing against his lips, "Then... kiss me now."

Fu Linghe's breathing stopped.

"Kiss me..." Her eyes were hazy and she was crying, "Maybe... you will remember it..."

His eyes darkened suddenly, and he stroked her cheek with his fingertips, his voice low and hoarse, "Are you sure?"

"Well..." She nodded, tears falling again, "I want you to remember it quickly..."

Fu Linghe closed his eyes and finally lowered his head to kiss her.

Her lips were soft and warm, with the sweetness of alcohol and the saltiness of tears.

He held the back of her neck and kissed her deeply and hard, as if he wanted to bring back all the lost memories from this kiss.

Yun Zheng felt dizzy from his kiss, her fingers unconsciously grabbing his silver hair, and her breathing became rapid.

After a long time, Fu Linghe let her go, resting his forehead against hers, his breathing slightly disordered.

Yun Zheng blinked and suddenly smiled, "You still haven't remembered it?"

Fu Linghe: “…”

She tilted her head and poked his chest drunkenly, "I'll allow you to kiss me again... maybe you'll remember it..."

Fu Linghe stared at her for two seconds, then suddenly chuckled in a dangerous voice, "Yun Zheng, do you know what you are doing?"

She blinked innocently, "I'll let you kiss me!"

Oh! He is really drunk!

Fu Linghe narrowed his eyes slightly, suddenly picked her up and walked out.

Yun Zheng exclaimed and subconsciously hugged his neck, "Where are you going?"

"Hotel." His voice was low. "Let me continue to help me remember."

Yun Zheng: “……?”

Before she could react, he stuffed her into the car.

Fu Linghe leaned over to fasten her seat belt. His silver hair fell down and brushed against her cheek, making her feel itchy.

She reached out and brushed his hair, then suddenly whispered, "Fu Linghe..."

"Um?"

"Even if you can't remember..." She leaned on his shoulder, her voice gradually lowering, "I can't bear to leave you..."

Fu Linghe's heart trembled violently.

He turned his head to look at her. She had fallen asleep on his shoulder, tears still hanging on her eyelashes, and her breathing was even.

Fu Linghe reached out and gently wiped away her tears, whispering, "Okay."

The Maybach drove into the night, and the neon lights cast mottled shadows on the car windows.

Fu Linghe looked ahead, emotions surging in his eyes.

Zheng Zheng, wait a minute, I'll remember it soon!
