Chapter 421 Finally Discharged from the Hospital

Chapter 421 Finally Discharged from Hospital

Since the two babies were born, Yun Zheng's ward has been bustling every day.

She recovered well from the normal birth and was discharged from the hospital in three days, but her two premature babies still needed to be observed in an incubator.

Fu Linghe knew that she was reluctant to leave the child alone in the hospital, so the couple stayed in the hospital for more than half a month.

"Actually, you can go back first." Yun Zheng said this for the hundred and first time, her fingers gently tracing her daughter's little face in the incubator.

Fu Linghe stood behind her, holding her shoulders firmly with both hands. "Why would I go back to a place without you? Besides, my wife and children are here, so I won't go back."

Yun Zheng smiled and shook her head, but ultimately didn't say anything more.

Today is finally the day I will be discharged from the hospital.

Yun Zheng woke up early in the morning and paced back and forth excitedly in the ward, looking out the window from time to time.

When Fu Linghe pushed her back to bed to rest for the third time, he couldn't help but pinch the tip of her nose. "If you run around again, I'll ask the doctor to keep you for another week of observation."

"You dare!" Yun Zheng's eyes widened, but she lost her temper when she saw the smile in his eyes. "I'm just... a little excited."

Fu Linghe squatted down and held her slightly cold hand. "What are you excited about?"

"This is my first time being a mother, how can I not be excited?" Yun Zheng's excited tone was mixed with a hint of excitement.

Fu Linghe placed her hand on his cheek and said, "This is my first time being a father too, so I'm even more excited."

A car horn sounded outside the window. Yun Zheng turned around and saw that the hospital parking lot had been filled with all kinds of luxury cars.

Mo Shian stood next to the Mo family's black Maybach, and the bodyguards in black suits were already standing in two rows;

The door of the Fu family's extended Lincoln opened, and Fu Yanze got out of the car first, followed by a row of servants.

Yun Zheng took a breath and asked, "Why are there so many people here?"

Fu Linghe chuckled. "What did you expect? The old men almost came to blows over who would hold their great-grandson first, but in the end they agreed to let everyone do it on their own."

Yun Zheng was about to say something when the door of the ward was pushed open.

Two mothers walked in one after the other, each holding a swaddled baby in their arms.

"The babies all passed the tests!" Shen Lanshu's eyes narrowed into a smile. "The doctor said that although they were premature, their indicators are now better than those of full-term babies."

Yun Zheng almost jumped up and rushed over, but stopped at the last moment and carefully took her daughter from Shen Lanshu's arms.

The little guy was wrapped in a light pink swaddle, his little face was rosy and he was sleeping soundly.

"Yunshu..." She called her daughter's name softly, and her fingertips touched the soft cheek with trembling hands.

Fu Linghe took his son from Mo's mother, but his movements were so stiff that it didn't look like he was holding a child.

Little Yunyi twisted in his father's arms and suddenly opened his eyes.

Those were a pair of phoenix eyes exactly like Fu Linghe's, so clear that they could reflect a person's shadow.

"He looked at me!" Mr. Fu, who was always calm, suddenly raised his voice by eight octaves, causing Yun Zheng to burst out laughing.

"Be quiet, don't scare the baby." Ning Zhi patted her son-in-law's shoulder in a scolding tone, then turned to Yun Zheng and said, "Zheng Zheng, Mom brought you some new confinement clothes. They're all cotton. Change into them later."

Shen Lanshu was not to be outdone. "I asked the kitchen to make some fish maw and chicken soup so we can have it when we get home."

The two mothers made arrangements one after another, and Yun Zheng and Fu Linghe smiled at each other.

This kind of "competition for favor" has never stopped since the pregnancy, and they have long been accustomed to it.

The discharge procedures were completed quickly.

When Fu Linghe wrapped Yun Zheng in a cashmere scarf, leaving only her eyes exposed, she finally couldn't help but protest, "It's summer now!"

"You can't be exposed to the wind while you're in confinement." Fu Linghe said seriously, suddenly bending down and picking her up horizontally. "The stairs are drafty, I'll carry you down."

Yun Zheng screamed and instinctively put her arms around his neck, "Put me down! There are so many people watching!"

"Let them see." Fu Linghe strode towards the elevator, a smug smile on his face. "It's only natural for me to hug my wife."

As the elevator door opened, Yun Zheng buried her face in her husband's shoulder at the bustling scene in the parking lot.

Almost all members of the Mo family and the Fu family were present, even Fu's second uncle, who was on vacation in Switzerland, rushed back.

When they saw them come out, everyone immediately surrounded them and greeted them.

"Zheng Zheng looks good!"

"The babies are so beautiful!"

"Hurry up and get in the car, don't get caught in the sun!"

Fu Linghe protected Yun Zheng as he walked through the crowd and gently placed her in the back seat of the Rolls-Royce, the temperature of which had already been adjusted.

The two mothers got into another car with their children, and the rest of the people got in their own cars.

As the convoy slowly drove out of the hospital, Yun Zheng looked through the car window at the white building gradually disappearing into the distance, and suddenly her eyes became wet.

"What's wrong?" Fu Linghe immediately became nervous. "Are you feeling unwell?"

Yun Zheng shook her head and held his hand. "I just feel... so happy."

Fu Linghe's eyes softened, and he lowered his head to kiss away the tears from the corners of her eyes. "This is just the beginning."

When the convoy arrived at Tanxiyuan, three elderly people were already waiting at the door.

Mr. Fu paced back and forth with the help of a cane, while Mr. Mo seemed to be drinking tea calmly, but his eyes kept glancing out the door.

The most exaggerated one was Old Lady Fu, who was standing by the fountain and looking around, holding two pure gold longevity locks in her hands.

"Here they come!" Someone shouted, and the whole courtyard suddenly became lively.

Fu Linghe still insisted on carrying Yun Zheng into the house and refused to let go no matter how she protested.

Passing through the carefully decorated entrance hall, the living room is filled with flowers and gifts, and the dining table is piled high with supplements.

"Let Zheng Zheng rest first." Shen Lanshu instructed the servants to push out the crib. "The babies must be hungry."

The two mothers fed and burped their babies skillfully.

Yun Zheng wanted to help, but was pinned to the sofa and unable to move.

"Your only task now is to take good care of your body." Mo Shi'an handed her a cup of warm longan tea.

Fu Linghe's gaze followed the direction of the crib.

Yun Zheng saw what he was thinking and gave him a gentle push, "Go ahead, go hug them."

After getting permission, Mr. Fu immediately strode towards the crib, but froze when he reached out to pick up the baby.

Xiao Yunshu just woke up, her eyes like black grapes stared at him, and her little mouth pouted.

"Is she about to cry?" Fu Linghe turned back for help helplessly.

Ning Zhi smiled and picked up her granddaughter. "You're too nervous. The child can feel it."

She demonstrated the correct way to hold him, "Hold your head and neck...yes, like that."

When Fu Linghe finally held his daughter in his arms tremblingly, the whole living room fell silent.

Instead of crying, little Yunshu grabbed one of his father's fingers.

"She likes me!" Fu Linghe's voice was full of surprise, and his eyes were slightly red.

Yun Zheng couldn't help but walk over and scolded, "You're his father, if she doesn't like you, who else does she like?"

The afterglow of the setting sun shone through the glass onto them, giving them a warm golden edge.

"Let me see my great-grandson!" Old Master Fu finally couldn't hold back and came forward.

But when he was actually facing that little life, he hesitated when he stretched out his hand. "This... How can I hold it when it's so small?"

Mr. Mo seemed to be standing calmly by the side, but he was actually secretly observing and learning how to hold a baby.

Only Old Lady Fu had the courage to take little Yunyi from Yunzheng's arms, her movements as gentle as if she were holding a rare treasure.

"Oh, it looks exactly like Ling He when he was a child!" The old lady smiled happily, and suddenly felt a heat in her chest, "Oh, I peed!"

Everyone burst into laughter, and the servant quickly handed over a clean diaper.

Fu Linghe wanted to help, but his mother pushed him away, saying, "Go stay with Zheng Zheng. We'll take care of these things."

Yun Zheng was placed on the chaise longue next to the floor-to-ceiling window, and Fu Linghe squatted beside her to massage her calves.

The living room was bustling with activity. Three elderly people gathered around the stroller, their expressions of wanting to touch it but not daring to do so amused everyone.

"Are you tired?" Fu Linghe asked softly, his fingers gently brushing across her slightly swollen ankles.

Yun Zheng shook her head, her eyes sweeping across the room full of loved ones, finally landing on the sleeping children. "It's like a dream."

Fu Linghe followed her gaze and saw that little Yunshu had grabbed hold of his brother's swaddling straps at some point, and the two little guys were sleeping soundly with their heads leaning against each other.

"Our home." He held Yun Zheng's hand and kissed her palm.

As night fell, the guests left one after another.

After seeing off the last guest, Fu Linghe returned to the bedroom and found Yun Zheng leaning against the head of the bed, quietly looking at the two cribs placed side by side.

"Why don't you sleep?" He tiptoed onto the bed and held her in his arms.

Yun Zheng leaned against his chest, listening to the familiar sound of his heartbeat. "I can't bear to sleep, afraid to wake up and find it was really a dream."

Fu Linghe chuckled, his chest trembling slightly. "Then we'll have to dream this dream for the rest of our lives."

The moonlight shines through the gauze curtains, gently enveloping this new family of four.

In the crib, little Yunshu smacked her lips unconsciously, while little Yunyi clenched her sister's fingers in her sleep.

Everything is just right.
