Chapter 3 I Didn't Kill a Human

"Kid, you've successfully angered me."

"Qianqian, go and gouge out one of his eyes for me."

"If you gouge out one of his eyes, I'll promise to marry you."

After Su Lei finished speaking, he handed Zhang Qian a fruit knife.

Zhang Qian was taken aback, then looked at Lu Yuan at the door, a look of struggle appearing in her eyes.

But when she thought about the good life ahead, the young mistress of the Su family couldn't bear it anymore.

"Go ahead, but don't let me down!"

Su Lei's tone was playful. As for what he just said about marrying Zhang Qian, what a joke!

Would the eldest son of the prestigious Su family marry a used, worn-out woman? Is that even possible? He's just playing around.

Anyone who takes this seriously is an idiot, and Zhang Qian is clearly the idiot he's talking about.

Zhang Qian picked up the fruit knife shakily and walked towards Lu Yuan.

She believed that Lu Yuan, who always obeyed her every word, would definitely sacrifice himself for her.

"Lu Yuan, you love me, don't you?"

"If you really love me, don't resist. Losing an eye won't kill you."

"It won't affect your life too much, and I'll make it up to you, so please grant my request!"

"Okay?"

Lu Yuan's gaze grew colder and colder.

The fact that he can remain so calm even now is not because he is particularly cunning.

Rather, it was the apocalypse that smoothed out his rough edges over the course of more than a year.

"Sigh, so all those three years of blindness have gone to waste. You want one of my eyes, huh?"

"Then come on, I'll grant your wish!"

At this point, Lu Yuan was completely disappointed in Zhang Qian, and he no longer showed any mercy.

When Zhang Qian approached Lu Yuan, she raised a fruit knife, ready to stab him in the eye.

Lu Yuan acted instantly, snatched the fruit knife, and without the slightest hesitation, stabbed it directly into Zhang Qian's neck.

"Go to hell!"

Instantly, the fruit knife pierced through his throat, and blood gushed out!

With a thud, Zhang Qian collapsed to the ground, clutching her bleeding neck with both hands.

It made "woo-woo" sounds, but couldn't utter a single word.

She looked at Lu Yuan with fear and disbelief, feeling that she knew nothing about this man she had been with for three years.

"ah!"

"You dare to kill someone?"

Seeing this, Su Lei became somewhat frightened.

"No, no, no, I didn't kill a person, I killed a beast!"

"What's wrong, Young Master Su? Are you scared?"

Indeed, Lu Yuan looked terrifying at that moment. His face, splattered with blood, made his smile frightening.

Su Lei even forgot that he was a spirit master.

"Don't come any closer! Help!"

As Su Lei watched Lu Yuan walk towards him step by step, he quickly shouted.

"The soundproofing here is so good, they must have spent a lot of money on the renovation, right?"

As Lu Yuan spoke, he reached out and wiped the bloodstains from his face.

As a result, the more they wiped it, the more terrifying it became.

"I heard that Spirit Masters are really awesome, is that true?"

Zhang Lei was stunned for a moment, then overjoyed. He finally remembered that he was a beast tamer.

Suddenly, a nameless anger welled up inside him. How could a spirit master like himself be frightened by an ordinary person? This was too embarrassing.

"Kid, you're asking for death. You dare to stay here knowing I'm a Beast Tamer?"

"Today I'll let you experience what it's like to be eaten by a spirit beast."

"Come out, Celestial Hound."

"Howling Celestial Dog" is the name Su Lei gave to his pet, which is actually just a common mutated wolfhound.

Lu Yuan looked at the mutated dog in front of him, which was the size of a calf, and took a step back.

"What? Are you scared?"

"Kneel down now and call me 'Grandpa' three times, and maybe I'll still leave you with a whole corpse!"

"Hahaha!"

Su Lei laughed heartily without restraint, tears welling up in his eyes.

"Meow!"

At this moment, the Taotie that Lu Yuan brought over, which looked like a stray cat, came up, meowing like a cat.

Su Lei was taken aback for a moment, then burst into laughter again.

"Oh my god! I can't take it anymore, this is hilarious!"

"Lu Yuan, you're not so desperate to become a Spirit Master that you've brought a stray cat with you."

"What's this called again? Hanging a dead rat on your waist, pretending to be a hunter, it's hilarious."

Lu Yuan ignored this idiot. Didn't he know that villains die from talking too much?

"Taotie, attack! Bite it to death!"

Upon receiving its master's command, the little gluttonous beast strode forward with an arrogant gait, meowed twice, and charged directly at the mutated dog.

The mutated wolfhound didn't hesitate either, and went to meet it. Instantly, the two monsters started fighting.

Lu Yuan looked at his pet with concern, fearing it might not be able to defeat the large wolfhound, since stray cats were indeed hard to find these days.

Fortunately, his worries were unnecessary. A ferocious beast is a ferocious beast. In just a few leaps, it ripped open the mutated dog's belly and slit its throat.

"Useless thing, get up and bite it to death!"

Su Lei shouted at the top of his lungs, but...

One minute later, the Celestial Hound died.

Su Lei stared in disbelief at the mutated wolfhound that had been bitten to death by a stray cat, then knelt down with a thud.

"Lu Yuan, please let me go!"

"Zhang Qian seduced me, I'll make it up to you!"

With a "thud," the fruit knife pierced Su Lei's heart.

"Don't you like Zhang Qian?"

"I'll take you down to keep her company. Wouldn't it be better if I let you two be together?"

Lu Yuan glanced at Su Lei, who was dead with his eyes wide open, and then prepared to recall the "stray cats" and leave.

Then, an unbelievable scene unfolded.

The mutated wolfhound disappeared, leaving only a pool of blood and dog hair.

"You ate it?"

Lu Yuan asked uncertainly.

"Meow!"

Looking at Taotie, who still resembled a stray cat, Lu Yuan decided not to ask any more questions.

"Okay, you win!"

He could no longer stay here, nor could he return to his rented room. He was well aware that the Su family would not let him go.

Lu Yuan ransacked Zhang Qian and Su Lei's belongings, taking them regardless of their usefulness.

Then he found some napkins, poured out the red wine, and began to wipe the blood off his face and hands. When he felt he had done enough, he quietly opened the door to the private room and left when no one was looking.

If Lu Yuan is going to run away, there is one person he must inform: Zhao Qiang, one of his two best friends!

Zhao Qiang was Lu Yuan's brother, whom he grew up with. Unfortunately, Zhao Qiang also failed to awaken his talent as a Spirit Master and ended up in an even worse situation than Lu Yuan.

"Knock knock knock!"

Lu Yuan knocked on Zhao Qiang's door. Before the apocalypse, Zhao Qiang was a very fat man. Although he was still a bit fat now, he was not in the same league as before.

"Lu Yuan, what brings you here?"

Lu Yuan pushed Zhao Qiang directly into the house and then closed the door.

"Lu Yuan, we may be close, but you can't have any improper thoughts about me."

Seeing Lu Yuan acting strangely, pushing him into the house and closing the door, Zhao Qiang immediately became alert.

He crossed his arms over his chest, making a gesture that said he would fight to the death if anyone tried to force him.

Lu Yuan spat out a single word in an annoyed tone.

"roll!"
