Chapter 150 Ruins

"Kevisu? Hello, my name is Cheng Huaijin, this is my pet beast Xuebingna, you can call her Xuexue." Cheng Huaijin introduced in a serious manner.

"Snow~" Xue Bingna declared, "That's me, Snow~"

Looking at Kvisu's battered and bruised appearance, Cheng Huaijin felt sorry for him and asked, "Do you need me to take you to the pet center?"

The lich shook its head.

"Why don't you try this medicine? It works really well!" Cheng Huaijin handed over a bottle of ointment.

Oh, I almost forgot, lich beasts don't have hands.

Cheng Huaijin put away the ointment, paused for a moment, and said, "Why don't you come back to the club with me? There are treatment pods there."

The lich beast looked at Xue Bingna, who widened her eyes and tilted her head: "Xue?"

The lich asked, "Heh?"

Xue Bingna turned to Cheng Huaijin and asked, "Xuexue!"

The lich beast was actually asking for an address, saying it could teleport there.

"At No. 26 Zuotan Street, the Oriental Beast Taming Combat Club, I lived on the 5th floor, room 107..."

The lich beast nodded and vanished instantly.

"...Can you go by yourself? Or should I..." Before Cheng Huaijin could finish speaking, the lich beast had already disappeared.

Well, I didn't realize you were such an impatient person.

Cheng Huaijin had no choice but to pick up Xue Bingna and quickly walk back.

As soon as I got near the club building, I heard the club's alarm going off.

Bubble alerted on the communicator: [Alert! Unauthorized intruder has entered!]

Cheng Huaijin quickly ran over to the staff to indicate that it was all a misunderstanding!

"A friend of mine, I'm sorry."

After finally managing to persuade everyone to leave, Cheng Huaijin wiped non-existent sweat from his forehead, feeling that socializing with people was just too exhausting.

My social anxiety has flared up again.

"Why don't you sit down for a bit?" Cheng Huaijin asked the lich beast that was floating in front of him.

The lich beast chuckled in a low voice.

Xue Bingna translated that the Lich Beast couldn't sit down.

...Well, socializing with lich beasts is so difficult!

This familiar feeling... reminds me of Old Dadak. Dark-type pets are indeed hard to approach.

“Heh, heh, heh,” the lich beast said.

"Xue Xue~" Xue Bingna said that the lich beast said Cheng Huaijin had the aura of a god.

"The taste of God?" Cheng Huaijin frowned. "Perhaps you're referring to a super-tier pet?"

The Wood Dragon, one of the seven ancient mythical beasts, has some connection to divination.

The lich beast suddenly rose a little higher, and its tone finally softened: "Hehehe!"

Xue Bingna said that the lich beast wanted to take Cheng Huaijin to a place.

"Going anywhere is fine, the most important thing right now is that you're still bleeding." Cheng Huaijin picked up a tissue and wiped the blood from the lich beast's fur. "Aren't you in pain?"

The lich suddenly froze, looking down at Cheng Huaijin's hand.

"I'm sorry, I saw you were bleeding too much."

The lich beast's eyes were covered by a black cloth, but Cheng Huaijin felt that it was looking at her.

"Heh." The lich beast's black cloak moved without wind, making it look extremely dangerous.

"I won't go to places that are too dangerous," Cheng Huaijin politely declined.

"hehe."

Xue Bingna said that the lich beast was not dangerous and had good stuff.

"Then I'll think about it... Sigh!" The black cloak swept up Cheng Huaijin and disappeared from the room in an instant.

It is like an endless expanse of ice, freezing an ancient civilization that has been silent for thousands of years.

Cheng Huaijin had seen this place in the information; it was a legendary ancient civilization and the origin of super-powered pets.

"You've come too." A familiar voice rang out, startling both the lich and Cheng Huaijin.

Deep blue hair, and a hideous scar running from the corner of his eye to the corner of his lip.

The boy raised a bright smile, a smile that dispelled the gloom but made him seem even more unpredictable.

"Cheng Huaijin, it's been a long time."

Cheng Huaijin asked, "Who are you?"

The blue-haired boy was taken aback, then smiled and said, "You don't remember me?"

"Have I seen you before?"

Blue-haired boy: "..."

Cheng Huaijin: "..."

The lich beast stood silently in front of Cheng Huaijin, seizing the time to recover its energy.

"As expected of you, you subdued the guardian of the ruins so quickly." The blue-haired boy broke the silence first.

Cheng Huaijin peeked out from behind the lich beast and asked, "Who exactly are you?"

The blue-haired boy broke down, pointing to his face and asking, "You really don't remember? I am—"

"I know the people from the Colosseum." Cheng Huaijin crossed his arms and looked coldly at the boy in front of him. "Should I call you Wu Nian, or your stage name from the Colosseum?"

Blue chuckled softly, looking down. "So you do remember me."

He looked up and smiled, "Just call me Blue."

"Are you Wu Nian?" Cheng Huaijin asked.

With his hands in his pockets, Bru said nonchalantly, "Does it matter?"

“This is important.” Cheng Huaijin stared at him. “This will determine whether I send you directly to the security officer or give you a chance to explain.”

Blue chuckled: "You're still so stubborn. I told you long ago that this world needs purification, why are you still so obstinate? Wouldn't it be better to join us?"

"No good. Since you won't answer me, then come with me to see the security officer!"

The little armored tiger appeared out of thin air, unleashing its Steel Cage skill, completely enveloping Blue.

Bru remained completely calm, even having time to chat with Cheng Huaijin: "Huaijin, do you know what the energy source in this ruin is?"

Cheng Huaijin frowned: "Who gave you the right to call me that? How disgusting!"

Bru pretended not to hear and continued, "How enormous must the energy source be to supply the entire planet?"
