"Behind the beast tide, there is a mycelium forest with no end in sight. Those creatures have already surrounded Hope City from the northwest."
At this point, Arthur sighed and said:
"That's why I want to bring humanity together, because we really don't have much time.
"Every superpower who dies in the exploration plan will provide new gene samples to the mycelium, and they will learn new abilities and tactics through this. In other words, there is no end to the monsters being killed. Hope City will eventually fall if it only relies on defense.
“But we don’t need to worry too much about this. It is not impossible for humans to turn the tables. This is not because of my appearance, but because of every human in Hope City.
"Our race has traveled to all the planets in several star regions, completed countless grand adventures, and roamed freely in the sea of stars for centuries.
"So I believe that humans still have unlimited possibilities. We will eventually defeat the mycelium and become the true masters of this planet."
Arthur stood up from his chair and bowed to everyone in front of him and everyone behind the projection:
“Thank you for your trust in me, which allowed me to accomplish what I wanted to do today. All the glories and lows are in the past. Starting from the 53rd year of the new era, our human race will have a new beginning.
"Thank you all for listening to my nagging. From January 1st to 3rd of the New Year, everyone in Hope City will have a holiday. Please don't go out unless you have other things to do."
The New Year’s bell arrives on time, and the humans on this planet... seem to have ushered in a different future.
