Xiong Rou led Si Yan into the cave, followed by three males.
Xiong Rou shifted her chubby body and found a huge stone bench to sit on. The movement made quite a commotion, and Si Yan raised her eyelids slightly.
Xiong Rou looked at Si Yan and said with a smile, "In the beast world, only strong females like me are beautiful and popular. Si Yan, you are so thin and ugly, and you and the unwanted snake beastmen are indeed a perfect match."
Si Yan coldly raised her eyelids and saw Xiong Rou's males searching for something under various rocks. She walked over and slowly strolled around the cave.
Xiong Rou bullied her children like this, how could she not offer some compensation?
In the Beast World, the most valuable thing is salt. Xiong Rou's family had already hidden their salt very well, but Si Yan still easily found the location of the salt. She went over without leaving a trace, quietly opened her space, and put a whole bag of salt inside!

Si Yan immediately sealed off the space. She turned around and, seeing the wooden board in Xiong Rou's hand, said in a relaxed tone, "Let me take a look."
Xiong Rou: "Show it to her."
Si Yan took the wooden plaque. The characters engraved on it were clearly not from the post-apocalyptic world, but strangely, she could understand them.
It is indeed Dong Chi and Nan Mo's indenture.
Si Yan frowned. Just how crazy was her predecessor to be so heartless as to sell her own child?
Two males helped Xiong Rou to her feet. Xiong Rou stood up and said, "Si Yan, your child is my slave! This is something that can never be changed, and you can't deny it!"
Si Yan stared intently at the wooden sign, green hues swirling between her fingers. Her brows were furrowed, and she was completely focused. "That's not necessarily true."
"What are you doing?!" Xiong Rou suddenly sensed something was wrong. She waved her hand, "Don't show it to her, go and snatch the slave contract back!"
Just as Xiong Rou's male approached Si Yan, Si Yan suddenly looked up: "Xiong Rou, can't you read?"
"What?" Xiong Rou asked, puzzled.
Si Yan picked up the wooden sign and shook it: "This is not a slave contract, this is a work contract."
"This is impossible!!!" Xiong Rou moved her massive body to Si Yan and personally snatched the wooden plaque from Si Yan's hand!
She stared intently at the wooden plaque. Si Yan walked to her side and said with a smile, "Your handprint and my handprint are on this, Xiong Rou, you can't deny it."
Si Yan smiled faintly as she circled around Xiong Rou: "I only agreed to lend you Dong Chi and Nan Mo for ten days in exchange for two animal hides. But you made them work for you for months and haven't returned them. Xiong Rou, shouldn't you compensate me?!"
Si Yan is skilled in wood-based magic. When she first took the wooden plaque, she used her wood-based abilities to slightly alter a few characters on it. These few characters conveyed completely different meanings!
Xiong Rou's mind was in complete chaos: "Impossible, how could this be? This is clearly a slave contract..."
Si Yan: "Take a good look before you speak."
Xiong Rou glanced at Si Yan, then at the wooden sign, and immediately shouted, "I know, it was you who did this!"
Si Yan looked at her calmly: "I'm just a little female, how much ability could I possibly have to tamper with the wooden sign?"
Xiong Rou shouted, "Si Yan, it's you! It must be you! You must have done it!!"
As she spoke, Xiong Rou picked up the wooden sign and was about to destroy it!
Si Yan said coldly, "Xiong Rou, this is the employment contract we signed. If you destroy it, then you will have no proof whatsoever that my two children can work."
Xiong Rou was furious: "Si Yan!! You! You!!"
She was so angry that she crushed the wooden sign to pieces in her fury.
