Chapter 189, /.

Si Yan squatted to the side, thinking that since she was a female and a cub, she should be able to hide well.

But just then, Mingyan suddenly turned to look at Siyan and said, "Teacher Siyan."

"What!" Si Yan suddenly stood up.

Mingyan stared straight ahead, a hint of interest in his eyes: "Catching birds was your idea. You'll come with me, release the birds, and kill the insects."

"???"

Fog Grass.

Why didn't you say that building the door was my idea too? Did you want me to hide behind the door to avoid disaster?

Should we send her to the front lines?

This is outrageous!

"You don't have any objections, do you?" Mingyan looked at her meaningfully.

Si Yan's lips twitched: "How dare I?"

The children anxiously pulled her closer, and Si Yan patted their heads to reassure them.

Not long after, Hu Que was ordered to take the three cubs away. After being separated from the cubs, Si Yan felt a little uneasy.

"That's so unfair," Si Yan muttered unhappily.

"Hmm?" Mingyan walked over; he didn't miss her voice.

Si Yan remained silent.

The task of hiding at the door was left to the other females and cubs, while the task of going to the front line was entrusted to her.

How can this not be biased?

As expected, those who haven't joined Black Tiger City aren't considered one of us.

Standing atop the city wall, the locust army was overwhelming. Looking into the distance, it seemed as if the sky was about to collapse, the darkness oppressive and gloomy.

The adult tiger-beastmen of Black Tiger City closed the stone doors of all the caves.

More Black Tiger Orcs were concentrated in protecting two caves. One contained supplies, and the other housed females and their cubs.

The last group of Black Tiger Orcs stood atop the city wall, their bodies resembling the walls of Black Tiger City itself!

The sight of locusts slowly encroaching reminded Si Yan of her previous life, when zombies were swarming in, and she was also on the city wall. Inside the city wall were survivors, while outside were zombies.

She thought she would have a life-or-death battle with the zombies. She wasn't afraid of dying in battle.

But the result was that the man she had always regarded as her brother stabbed her in the back and pushed her down.

"What are you thinking about?" Mingyan asked.

"It's nothing," Si Yan smiled casually.

Mingyan's eyes were deep. "The birds have never been fed since they were captured; some have been starving for seven days."

Si Yan asked in surprise, "They didn't starve to death?"

Mingyan found it amusing, but unfortunately, his face was scarred, so even when he smiled, he looked fierce.

"You think the wild animals here will starve to death in seven days?" he said slowly. "Life is more resilient than you think."

Si Yan was somewhat surprised, and then looked at the locusts in the distance.

Birds that have been hungry for seven days must have a good meal, right?

But there's so much food in front of us, we might not be able to finish it all.

Just then, Mingyan grabbed her arm, pulling so hard it hurt.

"Stay close to me for a while, and do whatever I tell you to do."

The black army of locusts roared wildly.

Mingyan stared intently, his imposing presence unwavering.

"Release them!" he roared, his male body unanimously. Upon hearing the command, the tiger-beastmen opened all the gates containing the birds in perfect unison!

Suddenly, countless birds that had been confined in various caves burst forth, forming an army of birds on one side and an army of locusts on the other.

For many years afterward, Si Yan could not forget this scene. Even after she and Ming Yan were separated, even after they met again.

He was like a general commanding thousands of troops.

His soldiers charged towards the enemy!

On the city wall, Mingyan and Siyan continued to watch the battle unfolding on the distant horizon.

The roars of beasts echoed throughout Black Tiger City, clearly indicating that the tiger-beastmen had won their first battle against the birds they had captured!

Mingyan suddenly clenched his arm: "Dodge!"

"yes!"

The tiger-beastmen who followed Mingyan hid in the prepared cave and closed the stone door.
