Chapter 4: When disaster strikes, Yaoyao runs first
Lin Yaoyao nodded, not taking it seriously.
In the past, she and her best friend often went to the duck restaurant, just to satisfy their cravings, but they didn't do anything else.

The lion roared again, a roar that resounded through the sky. The sound seemed to penetrate a person's soul. It took cautious steps, approaching the two people little by little.
Zuo Xi did not hesitate at all. He stepped forward and stood in front of Lin Yaoyao. His voice was urgent and firm:
"Yaoyao, you go first, I'll hold it back!"
However, there was dead silence behind him, without a single sound.
Zuo Xi turned his head with confusion in his heart, but he only saw Lin Yaoyao's back as she ran away at such a fast speed that a cloud of dust was raised.
His eyes widened, he couldn't believe what he saw.
He secretly complained in his heart: He swore that this was the first time he knew that females could run so fast!
The lion was getting closer and closer. Zuo Xi looked at his arms and legs, took a deep breath, gritted his teeth, and rushed towards the lion desperately, using all his power as a fourth-level beast.
But the lion only paused for a moment after being hit, and then opened its bloody mouth and pounced towards Zuo Xi.
Zuo Xi instantly realized that he was no match for the lion, so he turned around without hesitation and ran in the direction where Lin Yaoyao was running.
The moment Lin Yaoyao saw Zuo Xi shaking his head, she turned around and ran behind her without hesitation.
She knew very well that since it was not an orc, it must be an extremely ferocious beast.
And it was a wild lion, so one could imagine how powerful it was. Even if she had a dagger in her hand, she would never dare to fight it head-on.
So, she made a quick decision and chose to escape.
As for Zuo Xi, isn't he a fourth-order beast? He should be able to hold on for a while!
Lin Yaoyao ran back a long way, and the constant roars of the lion coming from behind her made her frightened.
She thought Zuo Xi had unfortunately been eaten by a lion, and she couldn't help but be silent for a moment, silently mourning for him for a minute.
But soon, she calmed down and thought that she was definitely no match for the lion on land.
So, without hesitation, she carried her backpack and ran towards the magnificent river.
