"We only chatted for a couple of minutes." Shu Ning looked at the group of them; apart from Yi Yuan, the others all gave her a menacing look.
She appeared nonchalant, but subtly moved her body behind Yiyuan.

“You guys…” Shu Ning said, looking at their slightly excited expressions.
"Ningning..." Yan hugged Shu Ning behind Yi Yuan, "I missed you, will you sleep with me tonight?"
He gave Shu Ning an expectant look.
Shu Ning looked at his sparkling purple-gold eyes, gave an awkward smile, and refused, "Yan, I'm afraid it won't work tonight. I just promised Yi Yuan."
"Then just reject him again, it's easy," Yan said, still holding Shu Ning tightly.

After he finished speaking, he pulled Shu Ning back into his arms again. Looking at the female in his arms, he bent down and kissed her forehead.

"Tch, it's only tonight, what's there to be so smug about?" Yan said, looking at Yi Yuan kissing Shu Ning.
"Why did you suddenly come?" Xuan Lin asked from the side.
"Of course I'm here to see my Ningning," Yan said.

"We've conquered the Jackal tribe," Han She said. "Their leader is dead too."

Looking at Xuan Lin and the others who didn't seem surprised at all, Shu Ning asked in confusion, "Could it be that you all already knew?"
She glanced at Jin Tong, "Jin Tong, you even kept this from me..."
“Ningning…” Jin Tong looked at Shu Ning’s disappointed eyes and felt very bad. He frowned and said, “I didn’t mean to hide it from you.”
