Qiu Ye walked in front, Xuan followed at the back, and Meng Yuqing was in the middle.
Xuan looked at Meng Yuqing, who was standing in front of him with her head down and in low spirits, feeling a little puzzled. He quickly walked up to Meng Yuqing and rubbed her gently.
Meng Yuqing turned around and met Xuan's inquiring eyes. He shrugged his shoulders, looking somewhat helpless.
After returning to the place where everyone was resting, Qiu Ye walked directly to the floor, while Meng Yuqing stopped and stood beside Xuan.
Qiu Ye noticed that Meng Yuqing didn't catch up, so he turned around to look at him, raised his eyebrows, and went to rest without saying anything.
Xuan lay down next to Meng Yuqing, tucked his front legs in his tucks, and looked at him quietly.
Meng Yuqing looked at Xuan's posture, the corners of her mouth twitched, and she forced herself to suppress her smile as she walked over to him and sat down, reaching out to touch Xuan's tucked-in paws.
Xuan let him touch her, and the two of them sat like this for a while. Xuan said softly, "What's wrong with you?"
Hearing Xuan's question, Meng Yuqing withdrew his hand and supported his face with a distressed expression.
When Xuan saw him like this, he immediately realized that there were too many people around and it was not convenient to talk.
He looked up and around, then stood up and gently nudged Meng Yuqing, "Come with me."
Meng Yuqing immediately stood up and walked out next to Xuan.
"What happened?" Xuan stopped after leaving the crowd for a distance.
"I want to set off later tomorrow, about an hour later, which is the time it takes for us to run three times." Meng Yuqing leaned close to Xuan and whispered.
Xuan looked at him in surprise, suddenly remembering the time Meng Yuqing spotted the traces of the wandering orcs from a distance. He asked cautiously, "Is anything going to happen during this period of time?"
"Yes." Meng Yuqing nodded like a chicken pecking at rice. "It shouldn't be a bad thing."
"Oh, let me think about it." Xuan lowered his head and looked thoughtful. Meng Yuqing was also racking his brains to think of a solution.
"It might rain tomorrow." Xuan suddenly raised his head and said, "I smell it."
"Did you smell it?" Meng Yuqing looked at him blankly.
"I smell a very damp atmosphere here. Every time I smell this, it's likely to rain the next morning. I'm just not sure when, sometimes early, sometimes late." Xuan looked at Meng Yuqing and said with a smile, "I'll go down and tell Father Beast. Even if it doesn't rain, it's not a problem to set off an hour later."
Hearing Xuan say this, Meng Yuqing also smiled with relief, "That's good!"
The problem that troubled him was solved, and Meng Yuqing's mood improved. He took a step forward and hugged Xuan's forelimbs and rubbed them. "Let's go, let's go back. I'm sleepy and want to sleep."
Xuan lowered his head and rubbed him gently, "Okay, let's go back."
After returning to the cave, Meng Yuqing quietly lay down next to Qiu Ye and closed his eyes with peace of mind.

"Clatter-clatter-clatter-clatter--"
The next morning, Meng Yuqing was awakened by the sound of rain.
It’s really raining!
He immediately got up from the bed and ran to the cave entrance to look out.
The cave was not big, and the beastmen did not enter the cave, but stayed outside.
It was raining heavily outside. Some of them hid under the trees, some stayed on the trees, and some just lay on the ground to get wet in the rain.
Xuan saw Meng Yuqing sticking his head out of the cave and looking outside, so he stood up and walked towards him.
Looking at Xuan, who was soaked all over, Meng Yuqing reached out to touch him. Xuan took a few steps back and shook his head at him. "I'm all wet. I'll get you wet and you'll get sick."
"Is it okay for you to get wet in the rain?" Meng Yuqing asked with some concern. Yellow and white flowers are planted in the tribe. If the orcs get sick from the rain, it will be difficult to treat them.
"We often go to the creek to bathe in the summer, so getting wet in the rain is nothing." Xuan took a few steps back and shook off the water after making sure he was some distance away from the cave entrance. "This rain will probably continue for a while. You go in first. I'll be guarding outside and let you know if there's anything going on."
Through the rain, Xuanyou's green eyes appeared particularly clear.
Meng Yuqing stared at him for a long time, and Xuan did not move. The two looked at each other across the rain.
He didn't come to his senses until he heard Qiu Ye's voice behind him calling him to eat.
"You go eat, leave the outside to me." Xuan said in a low voice and turned to leave.
Looking at Xuan's departing back, Meng Yuqing lowered his head and touched his chest with his hand, feeling a little bad.
Sitting in the cave, Meng Yuqing held the food handed to him by Qiu Ye and ate it mechanically.
"Yuqing, what's wrong with you? Are you feeling unwell? Are you cold because of the rain?" Qiu Ye leaned over and touched his forehead.
Meng Yuqing shook her head. "No, I was just wondering when the rain would stop."
"Soon, the summer rain stopped."
"Yeah, I understand."

After eating and helping to clean up, there was suddenly a noisy sound outside the cave.
Meng Yuqing immediately perked up and ran to the cave entrance.
Outside the cave, all the orcs stood up and looked in the same direction.
Meng Yuqing was hesitating whether to rush out in the rain to see what was going on, when Xuan came over.
"Xuan, what happened?" He looked at Xuan with expectation in his eyes.
"Yes, a small group has arrived. There are forty orcs, sub-beasts, and cubs in total."
"Forty people?" Hearing Xuan's words, Meng Yuqing raised his voice and seemed a little excited, but he quickly calmed down.
He looked at Xuan and said seriously, "Is he someone you can trust?"
