Xuan raised his paw and poked a sow. The sow screamed in fear and didn't dare to move. "This is used for eating meat."
Then he kicked another sheep and said, "Yuqing said the wool of this sheep is very useful, and those two sheep also have other uses."
The orcs changed back into human form doubtfully and approached the livestock. In an instant, all kinds of noises were heard.
"Oh, this beast has peed!" said an orc, pointing at a sheep.
Meng Yuqing looked out and was so scared that he pissed his pants.
For these livestock, the orcs who have been fighting with the ferocious beasts in this world for years are indeed too terrifying.
"You really don't have any intention of attacking at all." An orc poked the sow. "It's too weak, but it has a lot of meat. I'll have to keep a close eye on it in the breeding area."
When the orcs with rich hunting experience came closer, they realized the strength of the fighting power of these livestock and they all relaxed at once.
Ruya had come over at some point, squeezing in between the orcs, and boldly touched the sow. "The belly is so big! How many piglets will this litter?"
Hearing what he said, many orcs went to touch the sow's belly. The sow was so scared that it jumped directly under Xuan and refused to come out.
"Okay, okay, stop looking. I have to take these wild beasts to find their father. Come back and see them when everything is arranged." Xuan lowered his head, preparing to pick up the vines and lead all the livestock away.
"Let me down." Meng Yuqing climbed to Xuan's neck and said.
Xuan paused, then bent down to let Meng Yuqing get off his back.
Meng Yuqing picked up the vines that were harnessing the horses and gently pulled them. The five horses took two steps forward docilely.
Then he walked over to the horse and touched its neck.
The horse just snorted and didn't move anymore, allowing Meng Yuqing to touch it.
The others watched his actions without daring to make a sound. If they hadn't seen Xuan still there and not showing any nervous expression, they would have almost gone up to stop Meng Yuqing and prevent him from contacting the beast.
Meng Yuqing and Xuan had agreed on this series of actions on the way back, just to reassure the tribesmen that these livestock posed no threat to the people of this world.
Xuan also changed into human form, grabbed the other vines in his hands and pulled them, and the other livestock also moved.
Looks very harmless.
Ruya watched all this with wide eyes. He walked out of the crowd and came to Meng Yuqing and said excitedly, "Yuqing, let me hold the dogs for a while, okay? Let's see if they will listen to me."
Looking at Ruya who came to his door, Meng Yuqing smiled slightly and said, "It's you, young man."
He handed the vines in his hand to Ruya, "Just don't pull too hard, just pull them for a walk?"
Ruya took the vine, shortened it a little, and then pulled it away. As he walked, he looked back at the reactions of the five horses.
After discovering that the five horses were following him obediently, he quickened his pace, and the horses followed suit. The people around him made way and looked at the scene in front of them curiously.
Ruya led the horse around the open space for a few laps, and the horse showed no intention of attacking, so the onlookers were relieved.
"Come on, come on, I'll go with you to find the chief. Let me lead them. This is the first time I've seen such obedient beasts." Ruya wanted to imitate Meng Yuqing and touch the horse's neck, but she was a little scared.
He looked up and around, and found that there were so many orcs there, and Xuan was also there. He would definitely not let anything happen to him, so he no longer hesitated.
It went smoothly. The horse just shook its head and then let Ruya touch it.
These livestock seem to have better tempers than those in the modern world, Meng Yuqing thought, stroking his chin.
He glanced at Xuan and the tribesmen around him and felt that he might have found the reason.
The sub-beasts here are stronger than the people in the modern world, not to mention that there are so many orcs. It is not good for these domestic animals to have bad tempers.
With Ruya's demonstration, several sub-beasts became eager to try it out, and they also wanted to take the wild beasts for a walk.
Xuan saw through their thoughts and spoke again, "We will keep these beasts in the breeding area. There will be plenty of opportunities to see them in the future."
Only then did everyone give up the idea of trying it out one by one.
Meng Yuqing walked up to Xuan and took the morning glory vine from Xuan's hand, then waved his hand and said, "Let's go."
The news that the three men were leading the livestock soon reached Xia's ears. Before they had gone far, four of Xia's orcs rushed over.
Looking at the livestock being led by Ruya and Meng Yuqing, Xia said, "Is this the wild animal you are looking for to raise?"
"Yes, there are these two baskets of eggs. We need to find someone to hatch them, and they can be raised." Meng Yuqing raised his hand and took the eggs out of the warehouse.
When several flying orcs nearby saw the two baskets of eggs, the memory of hatching black-beaked bird eggs came to their minds and they suddenly felt dizzy.
Who else could hatch eggs here besides them? Several flying orcs who didn't have partners felt even more miserable. They hadn't even hatched their own cubs yet, but they had already hatched the wild beasts' eggs several times.
Meng Yuqing turned around and saw the despairing expressions on the faces of the flying orcs. He immediately comforted them, "We'll only hatch them this once. When they grow up, let them hatch the eggs themselves."
At this time, the flying beasts nodded reluctantly, "We understand. We worked hard to hatch them all."
"These eggs are so small, and your beast forms are so big, two or three people are enough to hatch them. How about you take turns?" Meng Yuqing asked tentatively.
There are only 500 eggs in these two baskets. If we were not worried about affecting the hatching rate, one flying orc could actually hatch them all.
