Ye Luoxing put down the spoon and looked him straight in the eye: "Yue Huang, are you sure what you said is true?"
Yue Huang answered without hesitation: "Of course what I said is true, but..."
He paused, his emerald eyes seeming to see through her heart. His mellow words echoed clearly in Ye Luoxing's ears: "Ye Luoxing, can you really agree to this? I don't want you to just give me a pass. I want you to really consider me, try to get along with me, understand each other, and really give me a chance. Can you do this?"
He was so serious that Ye Luoxing avoided his sight. Her eyes fell on the stone bowl and she was silent for a long time, as if she was in deep thought. After a long while, she picked up the spoon again.
She didn't answer Yue Huang directly, but continued eating. She glanced at him and said only one sentence: "It depends on your performance."
These four simple words made Yue Huang raise her lips again. This was not the first time she said such words, but he didn't know if she was just trying to please him again.
Yue Huang leaned back in his chair, his right hand casually resting on the table, his fingers tapping the surface intermittently. Seeing her finish her meal and pick up the fruit, he spoke, "Eat slowly. Afterwards, I'll take you for a walk. Let's start by getting to know each other."
Ye Luoxing's movements slowed down, but she did not stop. She ate the fruit slowly and steadily.
She finished her breakfast in half an hour. After Yue Huang packed up his things, he took her down the mountain.
A man and a beast walked by the river. Yue Huang pulled down a beautiful plant. He observed her hair and said, "I don't know why your hair is so short, but it's already shoulder-length. I can braid it for you. Can I do that?"
Along the way, he discussed things with her and asked for her opinion on everything, which made Yue Shang feel uncomfortable.

Just as she was walking towards the big rock beside her, before Yue Huang could catch up, a griffin flew over from the sky not far away. It landed in front of Yue Huang, looked at Ye Luoxing hesitantly, and seemed to be hesitant to speak.
Yue Huang noticed his hesitation and took a few steps to the side. The male beast followed him and whispered in his ear, "King Beast, there's movement in the sea. Beasts from the north have crossed the sea and entered our territory."

Not far away, Ye Luoxing sat on a rock, watching the two beasts talking in low voices over there.

Yue Huang was obviously hesitant, but perhaps because he had just talked to her that morning, in the end, he didn't say much.
He responded, "Okay, I'll leave him to accompany you. If you need anything, go find Jiaxibai or Pochen."
Ye Luoxing said: "I understand."
After a brief pause, Yue Huang spread his wings and flew high into the sky, heading off into the distance.
Until his figure completely disappeared, Ye Luoxing glanced at the griffin beast left in front and said: "You follow your king beast to do the work. I don't need you to accompany me. I can go shopping by myself."
"The king beast asked me to accompany you. Where do you want to go? I will carry you." The male beastman had no intention of leaving.
