Dad breathed a sigh of relief.
Lin Yufei was happy to do so. She held Shi Ran's hand and said with a smile, "Let's go. Sister will take you there."
Shi Ran got off his father's lap and walked outside while saying with a smile: "Dad, wait a minute, don't worry, I'll be back soon."
The doctor smiled and said, "Master, your daughter is so cute."
Dad sighed, "So, I always feel like I owe her a lot. If I had been a little more forceful and insisted on marrying her, I wouldn't have let her stay away from home for ten years. She wouldn't be ten years old, but so skinny as a seven-year-old."
"I can't blame you. With an old man like your father, I guess everyone would be the same."
On the way to the restroom, I saw many portraits hanging in the hospital corridor, all of which introduced doctors, all of whom were the most authoritative experts in the hospital.
Shi Ran's eyes were fixed on the experts above, as if he was looking for something.
After seeing the man's name, Shi Ran stopped and grabbed Lin Yufei's hand, and she also stopped.
"What's wrong?"
Lin Yufei asked.
"Who is this handsome boy?"
You can’t call him “little brother” either, because the person above looks to be in his thirties.
"The best doctor in our cardiac surgery department."
"I kind of like him. Can I meet this guy? I would never disturb this guy at work."
Lin Yufei was a little embarrassed and did not answer.
Shi Ran shook the back of Lin Yufei's hand and said, "Pretty sister, take me with you. I really won't disturb you, okay?"
"You really don't want to bother me?"
"Really, really."
"Then go for a while and come back quickly."
"Thank you, beautiful lady!"
Shi Ran seemed to be smiling when she spoke, but actually there was no smile in her eyes. It was just because she was cute, and when she smiled, she looked even cuter.
