Chapter 204: Exclusive
Caesar and the others were sent back to their rooms by Anno, but none of them could fall asleep.
They were all hovering in the network of consciousness, not bothering Anuo, just wanting to hear her "movements".
Their consciousness network is now a small group isolated from the current Zerg, and Anno's consciousness appears much clearer within it, its presence no less than a flame lit in the darkness.
Anuo was getting ready to sleep. With her second sister there, she naturally wanted to share a room with her; she couldn't leave her sister alone.
Anyway, Caesar and the others' consciousnesses are all connected to her. Normally, they can stay in the palace, which is big enough. So, they can't be crammed together in this guest room.
Anuo lay in bed, and as soon as she closed her eyes, she could feel several people swirling around her consciousness in the network of consciousness.
Sometimes she couldn't help but marvel at the incredible physical abilities of the Zerg. After fighting all day and going through so much trouble, they were still so energetic and didn't seem tired at all.
Anno didn't feel particularly tired, just a little mentally exhausted. The time she spent in the wormhole was actually very short, but the memories imprinted in spacetime that she saw in the spacetime bubble made time seem to pass very quickly, giving her the illusion that a long time had passed.

"What are you thinking about?"
Anno turned his head and met Karina's ruby eyes.
Karina reached out and stroked her long hair behind her head. "Still thinking about that she-wolf?"
Anno nodded.
"Don't worry, I think Queen Sevier has succeeded."
Karina could tell what she was thinking and her anxiety just by looking at her expression.
She had never seen those memories, but her mother had told her in advance that she was a little queen insect of the insect race, born precious and different from others, and suffered all kinds of hardships before she even hatched.
Her past experiences are heartbreaking to hear.
I just saw her in the spacetime bubble. She was only three or four years old and struggling to survive in the icy wilderness. If she weren't the Little Queen Worm, she probably wouldn't have survived at all.
She moved closer to Anuo and pulled her into her arms. "We'll go see Mother tomorrow. It will definitely be hers."
Anno snuggled closer to Karina, feeling her warmth, and sighed softly, "Second sister, you're so warm."
Although my second sister seems aloof and unapproachable, she is actually very perceptive and always understands what I'm thinking.
Karina nuzzled her forehead with her chin. "If you like, you can sleep with me from now on."
After hearing this, Anno looked up at Karina.
Karina looked at her, blinking at her, and smiled, saying, "Don't you want to?"
Anno didn't know how to answer her, so she said dryly, "Second sister, I am the queen insect of the insect race."
Karina: "I know."
Anno: "I will live among the Zerg from now on."
Karina repeated, "I know."
Anno lowered her eyes. "So we'll still break up."
We can't sleep together every day.
Karina pulled her closer to her and patted her on the back. "Go to sleep, don't think too much."
Anno closed her eyes and said, "Mmm."
Before long, Anno fell into a deep sleep. She could always fall asleep quickly in an environment where she felt safe.
Karina listened to her even breathing, her slender fingers unconsciously running through her hair, wide awake.
She was thinking about the question she had asked Xiaoqi on the balcony earlier. She had asked Xiaoqi if she was willing to mark her and transform her, but Xiaoqi hadn't had a chance to answer her.
In fact, she didn't particularly want to become a Zerg.
She just wanted to see if she could arouse Xiao Qi's possessiveness, and whether Xiao Qi liked her so much that she wanted her to become her companion.
After all, the Bazel beside her was once just a beast, but now he is a high-ranking servant of hers.
She hopes that she wasn't forced to mark and convert Xiaoqi, but rather that it was an active choice.

It is merely a body to which the soul resides.
But she wanted to be the body that Xiaoqi liked the most; she wanted to become whatever Xiaoqi liked.

Because only this extreme can make her feel "interested". She has no favorite things. She eats only to maintain her body's needs. After she enrolled in the superpower academy, most of the time she carries nutritional supplements in her bag and eats hastily.
