Chapter 317: Good things are not taught
The Royal Palace in the West Vitello Galaxy.
Augsis and Seville stood at the palace gate, watching a furry creature lying on the ground, idly nibbling at the ore.
That's the silly, fluffy baby who's always with Anunu.
Anunu was lying on Mao Mao's back, her petite figure completely buried in Mao Mao's thick fur.
After taking a couple of bites, Mao Mao picked out what it thought was the best piece of ore and handed it to Anunu.
Augsis and Seville watched as Anunu held the ore, examined it for a while, and then put it in his mouth to try biting it.
After realizing it couldn't bite through it, it pursed its lips and tossed the ore onto Mao Mao's head.
The two were slightly startled and looked at each other in bewilderment. Augsis opened his mouth wide: "Anunu wants to eat ore?"
Sevier glared at him: "Where would Anunu bite into minerals? Is she tired of them lately and wants a change?"
Augsis stroked his chin and looked at Tanvel standing to the side: "Anunu suddenly came from Sky Cloud Garden, and he only brought him with him."
Sevier: "I beat him up when I got back."
The two exchanged a silent glance, came to a conclusion, and said in unison, "Has Caesar caused trouble again?"
Anunu's consciousness is now sending a "do not disturb" signal, so they can't very well go up and ask.
But after concluding that Caesar had caused trouble again, Sevier made a communication call.
Caesar opened a portal for Anunu to return, and logically Anunu should have kept him by her side, but Anunu did not take him with her.
Not only him, but even Sitar did not return.
This is not normal.
The communication was quickly established, and as soon as Caesar's image popped up from the personal terminal, Sevier said coldly, "Why did Anunu come back alone? What kind of bastard have you done this time?"
Caesar paused for a moment, then smiled bitterly to himself. He actually hoped it was him; he would be willing to be beaten half to death.
He knew he had left a bad impression on the Queen, and respectfully said, "Your Majesty..."
He had barely opened his mouth when Sitar transferred his communication to him.
When Sevier saw Sitar, she was about to ask him a question when she noticed the wounds on his neck and cheek.
Those claw marks, those teeth marks, who else but her Anunu could have left them?
Augustus leaned closer. "Hmm? Sitar, how did you get hurt?"
Two seconds later, he understood what was going on. He raised an eyebrow slightly and looked at Anunu with a knowing look in his eyes.
Augustine understood, and so did Sevier.
Her face instantly darkened. "Sitael, you are not allowed to stay with Anunu for the next month."
Then, without waiting for Sitar to speak, the communication was terminated.
Seeing how angry Sevier was, Augustus patted her back to comfort her and said, "Sitar hasn't said what the reason is yet, and you won't listen to his explanation."
Sevier: "Explain what? Does it even need explaining?"
Her voice was filled with anger as she said, "Look at the teeth marks on his face! Look at the claw marks on his neck! Look how depressed Anunu is that he wants to eat ore!"
Augsis: "Maybe it was Anunu who initiated it?"
"How could that be!" Sevier grabbed the back of his neck. "Don't you know your daughter? Huh?"
Augsis understood, of course, but at this moment, he couldn't add fuel to the fire. He was also angry and wanted to bring Sitar back and beat him up, but he had to appease Sevier and Anunu first.
He continued to appease the Queen's ruffled hair, "Let them handle their own relationship. They're both young and don't understand anything..."
Sevier gripped the back of his neck with such force that Augustus felt his neck was about to break.
"My Anunu is still so small!"
Augsis: "The Sital is even smaller..."
Sevier clenched her fist and punched him twice. "How can this be the same! How can this be the same?!"
After beating Augsis, Sevier thought about how Augsis usually took care of Sitar, so she pinched his ear and said angrily, "You're such a good teacher!"
Augustus hissed in pain and said with a wry smile, "My Queen, do I need to teach you this?"
Before Sevier could continue, he added, "Even if I teach them, even if I know, they can't do anything!"
Sevier snorted and released Augsis's poor ear.
“That won’t work either. They’re different from us and the old King Worms. They’ve both shut down their consciousness gateways and aren’t communicating. Anunu is used to bearing things on her own, and I don’t want Anunu to be unhappy.”
Augsis coughed. Sevier was just worried and confused. In the past, when Sevier was angry with him, she would often shut down the consciousness network and ignore him, which was much more serious than what Anunu and the others did.
Anunu is gentle and easy to talk to, and he always has a soft heart towards the people around him. But Sevier is not soft-hearted. She will ignore him if she wants to, and sometimes she will not communicate with him for several days or let him sleep in the bed.
However, in order to sleep in a bed tonight, he decided it was best not to reveal this matter.
The two stood at the palace gate watching Anno for a while, until she fell asleep on Mao Mao's back, before Sevier carried her back to the palace to sleep.
Augsis also took the opportunity to contact Sitar.
As soon as he made the call, Sitar asked, "Your Majesty, is Anunu asleep?"
Augsis said with a slightly sullen face, "She's asleep. What happened? Anunu came back and threw a huge tantrum."
He exaggerated a bit. When Anunu came back, he beat up Tanvir. In order to make Anunu able to hit him, Tanvir took off all his clothes and removed all his defenses.
Anunu didn't hit him much before suddenly losing her temper and going off to rummage through the ore with Mao Mao.
Sitar lowered his eyes slightly and said, "Your Majesty, it was my fault. I made Anunu angry."
Augsis slightly raised his chin, waiting for Sital to continue.
Sitar hesitated for a moment, then slowly raised his eyes to look at Augsis. "I kissed her."
Augsis's expression was cold, but a hint of curiosity flashed in his eyes.
He didn't say anything, but instead thought of the time when he had just entered adulthood and followed Sevier around every day. Finally, one day he kissed Sevier.
She beat him so badly he couldn't get up for days, and he had fractures all over his body. He even had to limp to attend the political hearing.
As he thought of his "young" days, a slow smile crept onto Augustis's lips.
I really miss those days. Every time he got close to Sevier, he was prepared to be beaten to death by her, but Sevier looked at him with such arrogance, as if he were trash, which was both dangerous and charming.
Anunu is somewhat similar to Sevier in some ways, but she is much gentler than Sevier.
When Augsis saw the bite marks on Sitar's face and the scratches on her neck, he sneered, "Anunu is a firefly. Remember to prepare weapons for her next time. Her teeth are so small and her claws are so delicate. What if she bites or scratches them?"
Sital: "Yes, it was my oversight."
He added, “Your Majesty, I wish to return to see Anunu.”
Augsis: "You know to ask me, but Sevier is in a bad mood. She just told you not to see Anunu, and I can't go against her."
Sitar: "I will not see Anunu. I will return to the palace to do my own thing."
Augsis tapped his knee a few times, thought for a moment, and said, "Don't anger Sevier and Anunu at the same time, understand?"
Sitar knew that Augsis had tacitly approved of his return, and nodded in agreement.
