Chapter 267: Settling on an Island
It was nearly noon, and the sun was blazing.

Anno seemed to sense her thoughts, smiled, and pulled her into his arms. Holding the cool little bundle, he nestled in Sitar's embrace and closed his eyes.
She was still far from where she was going, and she would have to endure the scorching sun for a long time.
She has a core protective layer, so she won't be harmed by strong sunlight, but she can still feel the temperature and light of the sun.

"Your Highness, almost there, I'll untie it right away!"
Two minutes later, Mingxiao deactivated the ability suppressor.
As soon as the shield was removed, Sitar formed an energy shield around Anno, which reduced the amount of light hitting her.
He held Anuo in his arms and pressed his cheek against hers. "You can sleep for a while. I'll wake you up when we get there."
Anno grasped his cold, long hair and turned her face toward his chest. "Okay."
When Xinghuo saw Sitar stick a kiss on Anuo's cheek, she hugged Anuo's neck and said, "Mom, I want one too."
As he spoke, he stretched his neck to press his face against hers.
Anuo's face felt a little itchy from the constant rubbing against hers, and she couldn't help but laugh.
Sitar flicked his finger on Xinghuo's forehead: "Don't disturb your mother."
Seeing Sitar's cold face, Xinghuo immediately became obedient and nestled in Anuo's arms without moving.
Anno smiled and touched her forehead. Xinghuo had just come out of the petri dish and had acquired some common knowledge, which was probably obtained from her core fragments while she was dormant.

Bai Yu walked up to Xinghuo and said, "Xinghuo, I am your future father."

Tanville raised an eyebrow, thinking to himself that Xinghuo was still His Highness's daughter, and Bai Yu's words were just a way of deliberately trying to connect with His Highness in front of him.
Before they could say anything, Xinghuo spoke up first, "You're not my dad, my dad is much more powerful than you!"
