Chapter 429: Not Afraid of Death
The big man's eyes were wide open, and he looked incredulous until his death. He clearly couldn't believe that he had died at the hands of two seemingly weak people.
Everyone watched as the two children acted swiftly and cleanly. As soon as the big guy was dead, the girl drew her knife and put it back at her waist without any change in expression. The boy behind her twirled his gun in his hand and put it back in its holster, his expression the same as the girl's. Killing a fully equipped big guy was a piece of cake for them.
Those queuing nearby thought to themselves, "Sure enough, there aren't many good people among those who dare to line up there."
They were quickly put in line. After giving their names, the registration staff gave them electronic wristbands with numbers on them and let them in.

Sitar said to Anno, somewhat annoyed, "He was blocking our way, why did we give him the gun?"
Anno pulled him aside and said, "Sitael, we don't kill everyone who stops us."
Mingxiao also said, "Your Highness Sitar, we only kill the enemy."
Sitar nodded, seemingly understanding, "Okay."
Anuo saw that he had the mind of a child and didn't expect him to really understand. Only she and Mingxiao kept an eye on him.
“I want a gun,” Sitar said.
Anno patted his head. "You can't play with the gun now. We'll let you play with it after we get out, okay?"
As soon as she finished speaking, Sitar pulled out another gun from behind his back. "It's okay, I have another one."
Anno's eyes widened instantly. She shoved his hand down, glanced around, and whispered to Sitar, "How did you bring him in! Where did you hide him?!"
Sitar pointed at Mingxiao: "When we go through security, Mingxiao, use your limbs to remove it for me, then shove it back into my hand when we come in." Sitar sold Mingxiao out without hesitation.
Mingxiao immediately lowered his head, "Your Highness, I was wrong!" His quick admission of wrongdoing was comparable to Caesar's.
Anno crossed his arms and said, "There's more than one, isn't there?"
Mingxiao and Sitar honestly showed her the guns they had hidden on their bodies.
Anno gently pinched Sitar's ear. "You're naughty. You've gone astray. You said you wanted a gun, but you've been hiding so many. You're just trying to make me feel sorry for you, aren't you?"
Sitar held Anno's hand in his and said earnestly, "I'm not lying to you, I really like that gun."
When Anno thought about the security check, the security personnel said that if she brought a gun in, she would be punished and kicked out if it was found.
She told them to hide the guns so they wouldn't be found.
Seeing her nervous expression, Lingjiu said, "Don't worry, we're not the only ones bringing guns in."
As he spoke, he gestured for Anno to look toward a certain security checkpoint.
Anno saw a man covered in guns and weapons. He blatantly bribed the security personnel with a bag of energy stones and smuggled the guns in.
Anno asked, puzzled, "Aren't guns not allowed inside?"
If duels could be fought with guns, then what would be the point of fighting? One shot would be enough.
Ling Jiu said, "That's definitely not possible, but they're all crazy people inside who're willing to risk their lives. They're not afraid of dying."
Anno and the other two followed behind Lingjiu and walked forward. When they reached the central tower, Anno saw that the central tower had no door and the golden walls were so smooth that there was not a single flaw.
Ling Jiu swiped the security personnel's wristband on the wall in front of him, and a string of unfamiliar words with blue light lit up in front of him. The wall in front of him quickly slid aside and opened a door.
The four of them used their identity bracelets to enter the interior of the central tower.
First they walked through a dimly lit corridor, and then they appeared in a spacious room.
The room was empty. Ling Jiu stood in the room and turned to look at her.
"Would you prefer group combat or solo combat?"
A mechanical voice sounded in their ears. Anno looked around the room, wondering where the voice was coming from.
The technology of the Lyca people seems to be quite different from that of other star systems.
“The group,” Zero Nine replied.
"Okay, please wait, we are matching you with opponents."
Five seconds later, the mechanical voice sounded again: "You have been matched with opponents. The opponent's icon has been marked. Please do not choose the wrong target. Eliminate the target and survive to advance to the second level. Good luck."
As soon as he finished speaking, a triangular pattern appeared before them, accompanied by four dark figures, and a door opened to their right.
