Chapter 300: IF Path Bazel: Informing the Past
At the test flight training ground, various types of aircraft are conducting test flights on the track.
Below are the engineers from each participating team, surrounded by various aircraft parts, all looking up at their team's aircraft.
It rains a lot in Sarea, the capital of Saint Tan, especially during the Summer Season, when at least eight out of ten matches are played in the rain.
A silver-white aircraft came into view. In the light rain, the aircraft sped across the track like a silver lightning bolt.
He barely slowed down on several curves, and then drifted and turned at a tricky angle, making everyone break out in a cold sweat.
A member who had recently joined the aircraft competition asked curiously, "Whose aircraft is this? Which team is it from? It flies so fast, it doesn't even slow down when turning."
"Needless to say, it's definitely A7 team. Their drones are the craziest. In previous competitions, they either crashed or left other drones far behind and took first place."
"Yeah, you better pray you don't get drawn onto the same track as them in this race, they fly like madmen!"
"Their engineers are incredibly skilled and daring to modify an aircraft like this."
When the topic of engineers came up, all the engineers present looked in the same direction.
Everyone was focused on the aircraft overhead, except for one person who was still disassembling and modifying it among a pile of parts.
The engineers and members of the new team curiously followed everyone's gaze and saw a slender figure half-squatting on the ground.
She was a girl who looked to be only fourteen or fifteen years old. She was wearing a set of work clothes. Perhaps because it was too hot, she took off her long-sleeved work clothes down to her waist, revealing only a close-fitting vest underneath. Her skin was so white that it almost glowed.
Upon seeing the girl's appearance, the new team members, who had only recently joined, stared wide-eyed.
The girl had long, slightly wavy pink-gold hair tied in a high ponytail, revealing her slender, fair neck. She turned to the side, her face with smooth, rounded features, a small, straight nose, and long, thick eyelashes like small fans, trembling slightly with her movements.
They had probably never seen anyone so beautiful in their lives. The girl only showed a side profile, but she was so beautiful that they gasped in astonishment.
The veterans at the test flight site laughed and patted the newcomers on the shoulder when they saw their dumbfounded expressions.
"Stop staring like an idiot. Be careful if the members of A7 see you like this. They could kill you with just one look."
A young engineer swallowed hard. "Is this an A7 trainee engineer?"
In addition to one full-time engineer, each team will have two assistant engineers and several trainee engineers. The full-time engineer is usually the oldest member of the team, or at least a graduate of a higher education institution.
Because engineers need to possess a great deal of specialized knowledge to be able to modify aircraft for a professional team.
There are no age restrictions for trainees; they are mostly students, and many engineers also mentor students.
"What student engineer? That's Anno, an official engineer at A7. She's the one who modified the aircraft for their team."
"So young?!"
The newcomers' eyes widened instantly. "She looks like she's only a teenager, she shouldn't even be an adult yet, right?"
"She's underage, but she's a genius. We sometimes exchange ideas with her. The young girl is very passionate about vehicles and mechanics."
"......"
People's eyes kept falling on Anno, but she was oblivious and continued to pack some small accessories in her hands.
This year marks Anno's fifth year living on Santa Ana.
During the first year, because No. 29 brought her a large number of rich and pure energy stones, her body gradually returned to its normal shape.
She also told Bazel and Erjiu about her past. The two of them spent almost every day with her and knew that she was different from the Northern River Star People and the Fire Seed, but they did not expect that she had such a difficult past.
The two felt incredibly sorry for her, but quickly accepted her past and new identity.
Her figure has remained the same since the second year, looking like that of a fifteen or sixteen-year-old. Apart from her hair and nails growing, nothing else has changed.
Anno didn't care much, because she vaguely felt that this was normal.
As she grew larger, Bazel and Number 29 found her a college in Sarea.
The people who have settled in Sarea for a long time are mostly merchants and workers, a mix of various races. There are only a few academies in Sarea. Although the children studying in the academies come from different civilizations, they communicate in a common language, so there are no communication barriers.
Anno was also able to meet people of different races and civilizations at the academy. Although she didn't like to communicate with people and usually seemed cold and unapproachable, she still made a few friends.
After assembling one of the parts, she wiped the sweat from her brow and sat down to rest. The Saint Tan Star Summer Tournament was just around the corner, and she needed to upgrade the team's spacecraft. The top-ranked teams would be able to participate in the league in the Landno system.
The mechanical engineering of the Landno system is outstanding, and her main purpose this time was to see their technology.
"boom!"
Suddenly, a loud bang came from above, followed by gasps from the crowd. Anno looked up and saw that one of their A7 team's aircraft had collided with another aircraft.
To ensure speed, the A7 aircraft has reduced its weight and streamlined fuselage, making it more vulnerable in a collision.
Given the skill level of their team members, unless it's a particularly challenging track, how could they possibly collide on a test flight track like this?
Her expression hardened, she dropped the tools in her hand, and ran towards the direction where the aircraft had crashed.
Seeing this, the other engineers also followed in a noisy commotion.
"I'll fuck your grandpa!"
As soon as Anuo ran over, he saw several members of his team rushing up and shoving and cursing at the people who had crashed into the car, looking like they were about to fight at any moment.
"What are you doing? Want to fight? We didn't bump into each other on purpose."
The team that bumped into A7 was Hurricane, and they weren't exactly friendly either.
"You did this on purpose!"
"Exactly! How could they crash into me on a straight road? Are they blind?!"
The members of A7 all had explosive tempers, their fists clenched so tightly they were practically pounding, and they were almost ready to rush up and punch someone.
At this point, a member of the Hurricane Squadron added fuel to the fire, saying, "We'll just compensate you with one. Aircraft crashes happen all the time, is it really that big of a deal?"
"What did you say?"
The faces of the A7 members instantly turned cold.
