Chapter 380: The Dragon's Prisoner

Chapter 380: The Dragon's Prisoner

Anno was captured by the mini-boss.

Many players present witnessed the mini-boss transform into a black dragon, grab a girl, and fly into the night.

The players were completely bewildered.

"What? Did the boss run away?"

"Then what about our mission?"

"You're still talking about quests? If you don't run away from this boss, you'll be waiting to create a new account."

"That's true. I feel like the boss here has gotten stronger. Last time I came, the boss wasn't this hard to beat."

"Why did that BOSS want to capture that player? It seems like that girl was from that team."

The players discussed among themselves, their gazes fixed on several tall figures standing at the boundary between the shadows and the firelight.

At this moment, they all stood still with cold expressions, exuding a powerful sense of oppression.

Anno mentally told them not to chase after them, but to go and complete the mission first and exchange it for some equipment.

They are just ordinary people in the game, without any special abilities, and they don't even have wings to fly like the Zerg. How could they possibly catch up with a dragon?

Tanvel expressed great surprise in the consciousness network. The BOSS here has changed. The information he obtained was that this area was not the shape-shifting black dragon before, and there was no mention of a monster that could capture players without killing them.

The monsters are extremely aggressive towards players; whether the player attacks first or they attack first, they destroy everything in their path with devastating force.

Anno was held in the monster's claws, watching the city below recede into the distance and soon disappear from her sight.

The black dragon flew very fast, and Anno could see the ruins passing by below from time to time. It carried him over sand dunes, flying away from the desert, swamp, and plains... and finally arrived at a huge valley.

The valley is filled with various flowers, a river flows through it, and many glowing fireflies in the grass illuminate the valley, making it a beautiful sight.

However, the various monsters that filled the valley mostly had wings, some resembling dragons, others tigers or lions, and looked quite majestic. Their levels were also much higher than those of the monsters outside, with each monster being at least a BOSS level.

Has she been caught in the BOSS's lair?

The monsters lay listlessly in the grass and river, occasionally teasing small animals with their tails and paws, looking quite relaxed.

When they noticed someone entering, they lazily looked up. Upon seeing the person caught in the black dragon's claws, most of the monsters widened their eyes and sat up.

Anno's gaze swept over the group of suddenly alert monsters, and a strange feeling welled up in his heart.

Without giving it much thought, her gaze was drawn to a huge castle below.

This castle, which looks like it came straight out of a fairy tale, is really too out of place in a game that focuses on post-apocalyptic survival.

It's not just that the castle seems out of place; the entire valley feels somewhat out of place with the rest of the game, as if it's not part of the same game.

Anno's consciousness was connected to Sitar and the others, and the scenes she saw were synchronized with their consciousness. Tanvel quickly searched for information about the place, while Sitar and the others returned to the base to replenish their weapons and equipment, preparing to rescue her soon.

The black dragon brought Anno to the castle, and Anno asked it, "Why did you bring me here?"

She knew the monsters were all players and could understand her, unless the player wasn't from Tianyun and couldn't understand her language.

When Black Dragon heard her speak, he tilted his head, looking as if he didn't understand.

"What did you say?"

Anno fell silent. He really wasn't from Tianyun. She couldn't understand his language either, and she didn't know which star system race it was.

She tried communicating with her in the common language of interstellar space, and this time the black dragon understood.

However, his Common Tongue was so poorly spoken that Anno had difficulty communicating with him.

"We can talk about this later, hurry up and go in!"

Black Dragon's interstellar language wasn't very good, and he could barely understand what Anno was saying. He grabbed her by the back of her collar and led her into the castle.

He led her to the castle hall, a vast and luxurious space filled with countless treasures, the light of which illuminated the entire hall.

The black dragon put her down on the ground and nudged her with its head. Anno stumbled as it pushed her and looked up.

High up the steps, a black and gold dragon sat coiled on the throne, sleeping with its eyes closed. Its breathing echoed in the hall, and even in its sleep, the dragon exuded a tremendous sense of oppression.

The black dragon looked very afraid of the giant dragon, and crawled on the ground, cautiously calling out to it.

Hearing the noise, the dragon slowly opened its eyes.

Anno saw a pair of golden, vertical pupils like copper bells, filled with cold scrutiny.

The dragon's gaze fell on Anno, and after staring at him for a while, a kind of crazy and obvious excitement appeared in its eyes.

It stood up, spread its wings, flapped its wings, and landed in front of Anno.

Its enormous body landed on the ground, scattering the mountain of treasures around it everywhere, the clanging and clattering sounds filling Anno's ears.

The black-gold dragon's massive head approached Anno, sniffed, and then grinned, revealing a set of pale white sharp teeth. It looked extremely ferocious, as if it was about to open its mouth and devour her at any moment.

Anno stood still, wanting to see what the giant dragon was up to.

The dragon nudged her with its massive head and then lay down in front of her. Anno was completely bewildered when the dragon's tail wrapped around her waist. With a slight pull, it dragged her under its belly and held her there. The tail's strength was neither too light nor too heavy, but she couldn't break free.

Well, now she's the dragon's prisoner.
