Chapter 84: Acceptance
After Anuo finished drinking her milk, Tang Ting went into the bathroom to run a bath for her. Anuo had a fever and was sweating a lot, so a bath would make her feel better.
Tang Ting ran the bathwater, temporarily removed the IV tube from Anuo's body, and carried her into the bathroom.
Lokin knelt down in front of Doris, trying to find her some pajamas. Doris said, "Baby has been sleeping all day, let's take her out for some fresh air."
As she spoke, she took out a beautiful long-sleeved dress and handed it to Luo Jin.
"Okay, it's boring to stay in the room all the time."
Lokin took a towel into the bathroom to give Anno a bath, while Doris put Anno's clothes on the bed and turned on the heater in the room.
Half an hour later, Lokin came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around Anno's red face and put her on the bed.
Tang Ting took out a box of ointment and handed it to Luo Jin. The rash on her body was different from that of a typical allergy. In order to avoid leaving scars later, she needed to apply some ointment.
As soon as Luo Jin opened the ointment, Anuo smelled a pleasant fragrance; the medicine smelled quite nice.
After applying the medicine to Anuo, Tang Ting brought over two hairdryers to help her dry her hair.
Doris looked at her long, pink-gold hair and exclaimed, "Baby, your hair is so beautiful."
Not just her hair, but Doris can tell from her current facial features that she will definitely be stunningly beautiful in the future.
Tang Ting looked at the clothes Doris had prepared for Anno and asked, "Are you planning to take the baby out?"
Doris: "Yes, take the baby out for some fresh air. Don't keep the baby cooped up in the room all day, or the baby will get suffocated."
"Is it alright for the baby to go out for a while?" Luo Jin asked.
Tang Ting: "It's okay, I'll give the baby two injections. But she'll need to continue with IV fluids, so the IV catheter can't be removed yet."
After drying Anuo's hair, Tang Ting brought a half-glove and put it on Anuo's hand with the IV in place to prevent it from being knocked off.
Then he took out the prepared medicine from his pocket and injected it into her arm.
What kind of hat should the baby wear?
Lokin tied Anno's hair into two braids that hung down in front of her chest, and brought her a few hats and asked her about them.
Anno glanced around the room, then jumped off the bed and headed into the bathroom. Lokin and the others watched as Anno emerged from the bathroom carrying a hat.
That was just given to her by Conson.
Logan had assumed she would wear the jellyfish hat again, but when he saw her put the hat Conson had given her on her head, he felt a surge of affection for her.
The baby is accepting her family in her own way.
The four adults in the room looked at Anno with tender eyes. Conson knelt down in front of Anno, adjusted her hat, and gently stroked her cheek. "If you like it, baby, Doris and I will make you more hats in the future, okay?"
Anno followed Conson's example, reaching out to touch his cheek and nodding.
Doris picked up Anno and said, "Let's go, baby, let's go see the stars."
Anno hugged Doris's neck, rested his chin on her shoulder, and smiled faintly.
Logan and Tang Ting followed behind them, carrying bags and smiling as they talked to Doris Conson and Anno.
Late at night, the hospital corridors were mostly empty of medical staff. Most of the people from the Northern River Star were physically strong, so there weren't many patients in the hospital.
When the medical staff saw Anuo, they couldn't help but feel excited, but they all restrained themselves from going up to disturb her.
They all knew that Anno was the Fireseed infant brought back from Casa. As long as the people of the Northern River Star were on the Skynet, there were few who did not know Anno.

After leaving the hospital, Doris and the others led Anno to an activity plaza near the hospital, where entertainment facilities and shops were open all day.
There was a beautiful garden on the other side, but Anno was allergic to flowers and couldn't take her there for a walk.
When they arrived at the square, Doris put Anno down. It was a little past two in the morning, and there weren't many people in the square.
However, there were many more stalls than usual, and most of these stalls sold toys and snacks, which are things that children like.

Back on Earth, they no longer used currency and mostly bartered. However, in large bases, they have started using currency to exchange for goods. Humanity is trying to restore the order before the apocalypse, but much effort is still needed.
Under the shop owner's incredibly enthusiastic recommendation, Anno bought a mecha toy that the owner hadn't recommended at all.
Seeing that Anno liked mecha, not only was the boss stunned, but Doris and Conson were also a little surprised.
Because she is still too young, children her age generally prefer simpler toys, dolls, or pretty items that light up.
Mecha toys are just metal lumps in your hand, and older children usually don't understand how to play with them.

Ivana had seen almost all of Anno's memories and knew her identity and past, so of course she wouldn't reveal her identity to the public.
Now that she's going back, she wants to find a way to suppress Anno's occasional manic energy.
