Chapter 156 Danger Increases (2/2)

This adventure was full of novelty and challenges for her.

She discovered a total of five cactus clumps, and surprisingly, three of them were hiding desert monitor lizards lurking nearby.

Moreover, during this long and unknown journey, she unexpectedly encountered a group of unique and amazing creatures she had never seen before—desert pikas.

These little creatures look absolutely bizarre! Their tiny bodies seem to combine the striking features of both mice and rabbits.

Its round eyes shone like bright jewels, sparkling with curiosity and vigilance; its long ears twitched occasionally, listening to the subtle sounds around it; its pointed mouth revealed a few clean and sharp teeth.

Their small and exquisite bodies are exceptionally agile, allowing them to dart swiftly between the undulating sand dunes like lightning.

Don't let their small size fool you; their fighting power is quite astonishing.

However, Jiang An showed no fear in the face of this horde of aggressive desert pikas.

She and her two little ones worked closely together to engage in a thrilling life-or-death struggle.

After a fierce battle, they finally wiped out all the desert pikas.

However, the battle was not without its challenges, and they paid a price for it.

Just as the fierce battle was raging, due to a moment of carelessness, one of the cunning desert pikas seized the opportunity and suddenly launched a fierce attack on the camel.

At the critical moment, Jiang An was fortunate to have quick eyes and hands, and noticed the impending danger in time. Without hesitation, she took action and successfully repelled the desert pika that had been attacking her.

Although the camel narrowly escaped injury and was not seriously hurt, it was clearly quite frightened.

No matter how much you try to drive it away, it stubbornly stands still, refusing to take another step.

Seeing this, Jiang An could only take out some of the camel's favorite food from his storage ring and gently comfort its frightened heart.

With Jiang An's patient reassurance, the camel gradually calmed down.

After a long while, the camel finally returned to normal.

This exploration yielded fruitful results and made Jiang An realize that there are more and more animals in the desert.

She hadn't encountered many yesterday despite exploring for so long, but today, in such a short time, she's already encountered four groups.

The dangers of the desert are becoming increasingly severe.

After rushing back to the safe house, the first thing Jiang An did was to reward his loyal mount—the hardworking camel.

She led the camel into the camel shed and then skillfully tied it with a sturdy rope.

Jiang An gently stroked the camel's fluffy head, trying to connect with it.

Then, he took out a large bowl of food directly from the storage ring he was carrying.

These dishes were carefully prepared by her for lunch!

To ensure there was enough food to feed the camels and to avoid wasting precious time searching for and preparing food, she did a lot of extra work.

Jiang An deftly poured the entire bowl of food into the trough in front of the camel. Watching the camel happily enjoy its meal, a satisfied smile appeared on her face.

Then she turned around, walked to the side, picked up a bucket, and filled the sink with clean water.

You should know that this sink wasn't originally there!

It was around noon that Jiang An stumbled upon it in a store.

This sink is made entirely of incredibly sturdy stone, not only exceptionally hard but also completely leak-proof.

In this way, even if a camel accidentally kicks or bumps into the water tank, there is no need to worry about damage.

"I must say, this is truly an excellent appliance that is perfect as a sink!" Jiang An exclaimed to himself.

After dealing with the camel situation, Jiang An walked briskly towards the underground safe house.

As soon as she stepped into the house, a refreshing coolness washed over her.

A "coo coo~" sound rang out, and it turned out to be the little turtle that had come in with Jiang An excitedly cheering.

This little guy clearly loves the low temperature here!

Turtles are cold-natured animals; the lower the temperature, the more comfortable they feel.

During that previous severe natural disaster, the ocean became its playground.

Unfortunately... the fact that the little turtle was able to follow Jiang An to explore in the extremely hot desert is already the result of its hard work.

After stepping through the heavy door of the safe house, Jiang An seemed to be drawn by an invisible force, heading straight for the soft and comfortable sofa.

She sat down slowly, looking slightly tired, leaning back slightly to relax as much as possible.

Immediately afterwards, she raised her right hand and waved it gently. A faint light flashed, and a bottle of green leaf juice emitting a light fragrance appeared out of thin air.

Without hesitation, she unscrewed the bottle cap, held the bottle to her mouth, tilted her head back, and began to gulp it down.

As the gurgling sound continued, the clear green leaf juice flowed quickly into her throat like a spring.

In just a few seconds, the entire bottle of green leaf juice was emptied.

Jiang An put down the empty bottle and let out a long sigh of relief.

Amazingly, within just a few minutes, her previously listless state of mind improved at a visible speed.

Recalling what happened on the way home, Jiang An was still shaken.

As she was walking, she suddenly felt dizzy, as if countless bees were buzzing in her head.

As a player who was very familiar with the desert climate, she immediately realized that she might have heatstroke.

Despite her deliberate choice to avoid traveling during the hottest part of the day, she ultimately couldn't escape the effects of the unbearable heat.

Thinking of this, Jiang An couldn't help but feel a sense of worry.

She opened the regional channel and saw that it was already in an uproar.

"Damn it, I have heatstroke. I'm dizzy and weak. Does anyone know what to do?"

"This awful weather is unbearable! It's hot enough as it is, and now there are two suns in the sky!"

"This is too strange. Since yesterday, there have been two suns. As we all know, we only have one sun. What does this mean?"
