Chapter 180 Finding the Exit (1/2)

Time passed by minute by minute.

During this seemingly long but actually short period of time, Jiang An's shocking injuries gradually healed at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Finally, when the last trace of injury disappeared, Jiang An seemed to have been reborn, radiating a powerful vitality once again.

She took a deep breath and then leaped up from the ground with a clean and swift movement, showing no sign that she had suffered such a severe injury.

After standing up, Jiang An tentatively took a few steps forward, his legs steady and powerful, as if he had never been injured.

Only the pool of blood on the ground, now congealed into a dark red color, silently bears witness to the life-or-death ordeal she had endured.

Recalling this instance, Jiang An couldn't help but secretly groan.

Because from the very beginning, things were heading in a bad direction.

She had just stepped into this mysterious and unpredictable dungeon world, and before she even had time to figure out her surroundings, a massive sandstorm swept in.

In the harsh environment of raging winds and flying sand and stones, she not only lost her means of transportation—her gentle camel—but also lost her companions who were traveling with her in the chaos.

This instance takes ten days, during which she not only has to complete three tasks, but also find the two little ones.

Jiang An had already anticipated how urgent the time would be.

Jiang An was particularly concerned about the weaker mice.

The little turtle might be able to survive unscathed in this dungeon thanks to its incredibly sturdy shell, but how will the little mouse cope with this journey full of unknown dangers?

Thinking of this, Jiang An couldn't help but let out a long sigh, his heart filled with worry.

Despite the unfavorable start, Jiang An still mustered his spirits and tried to temporarily put aside the chaotic thoughts in his mind.

She narrowed her eyes slightly, her gaze moving slowly and intently, scanning her surroundings inch by inch.

No shadow or corner escaped her sharp eyes, for fear of missing any clue that might hide useful items.

The large storage bag she carried with her on this trip had long since disappeared, vanished in the rolling sandstorm.

The only thing left was the backpack he carried on his back, which was specifically used to store small items.

Fortunately, there's always a way out. The storage ring on Jiang An's finger was still working properly, which undoubtedly gave her an advantage in the upcoming dungeon missions.

Just then, Jiang An suddenly exclaimed, "Huh!"

Jiang An dashed away like an arrow released from a bow, arriving at a corner in the blink of an eye.

Without hesitation, she bent down and stretched out her slender arms to tightly grasp the item on the ground.

Upon closer inspection, she realized it was her familiar sleeping bag, now lying alone in the dark cave.

The outermost storage bag was obviously destroyed in the sandstorm, leaving only the contents scattered around.

However, apart from the sleeping bag, she searched carefully in the empty cave but found no other items in the storage bag.

Now that it has been confirmed that other items or existing resources have been found in this cave, Jiang An's top priority is how to successfully leave this damned cave.

Jiang An raised his head and looked up at the sky.

All around her were steep, jagged rock cliffs, like insurmountable high walls, trapping her firmly in this small space.

And where she was at that moment was in a cave located below these rocky cliffs.

Sunlight streamed in through the cracks at the top of the cliff, illuminating a corner of the cave.

Jiang An stared at the blazing sun hanging high in the sky outside, and he already knew in his heart that he was undoubtedly in a dungeon, because there was only a lonely sun shining brightly in the sky, and the temperature was not as hot as before, thirty or forty degrees, which was within Jiang An's acceptable range.

To escape this bottomless pit, there seem to be only two paths to choose from.

One option is to use one's own strength and skills to climb out of the cave.

However, as Jiang An gazed at the dark abyss that seemed to plunge straight into the earth's core, a sense of powerlessness welled up within him.

According to her rough estimate, the vertical distance between the bottom of this hole and the ground is more than 30 meters!

Although her current combat skills are already quite high, it is easy to imagine how difficult it would be to successfully reach the top of the cave entrance by rock climbing alone.

The reason is simply that the cliffs surrounding the cave are not only exceptionally steep, but also have a smooth, mirror-like surface, making it almost impossible to find any place to gain a foothold.

Just as Jiang An was racking her brains for a way to escape, her gaze suddenly turned to a passage located in a corner.

This passage had been hidden in the shadows until now, and it would probably have been overlooked if I hadn't accidentally discovered it while carefully searching for the scattered items in the storage bag.

The entrance to the passage was narrow and dark, like a mysterious and unpredictable giant mouth, quietly waiting for someone to step inside.
