Chapter 4 Silence (1/2)

[Players, please prepare yourselves, the second wave of supplies is coming soon!]

That familiar yet cold voice suddenly rang in Jiang An's ears.

She subconsciously glanced at the time on her wristband.

[16:00]

I silently memorized this time.

He gripped the net tightly in his hand, his gaze fixed intently on the distant sea.

In an instant, a row of wooden crates floated towards Jiang An's direction.

Soon, they arrived near her.

She looked at the box in front of her, not having time to think, and quickly grabbed the wooden box.

After an unknown amount of time, Jiang An wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, looked at the wooden crate in the distance, and felt a deep sense of regret.

Unfortunately, she wasn't quick enough; she wished she had more hands to snatch the drifting wooden box away completely.

She turned her gaze back to the raft in front of her and counted the wooden crates she had retrieved herself—eight in total.

"You've made progress," Jiang An said excitedly.

Pick up the "weapon," open the first wooden box, inside is a fluffy blanket, still a small ball inside.

But the blanket instantly grew larger the moment Jiang An took it out of the wooden box.

The original wooden box could no longer hold it, so she placed her fair face on the fluffy blanket, enjoying its warmth.

Jiang An couldn't help but feel relieved; night was approaching, and the sea breeze was already chilly in her short-sleeved shirt and trousers.

She was just worrying about how to spend the nights at sea when the warm clothing arrived!

"It must be because of his high luck stat," Jiang An guessed.

Without lingering too long in the warmth, she quickly put the blanket into the empty compartment.

Begin opening the remaining 7 wooden crates.

After opening all the windows, Jiang An had already recovered a significant amount of health.

[Total obtained: 30 wood blocks, 6 plastic, 2 mineral water, 5 soil, 5 steamed buns, 3 glass, 2 blueprints]

Jiang An looked at the two blueprints in his hand with excitement.

[Water purifier blueprint detected. Would you like to study it?]

"yes."

[Ding! Learning successful. Required materials: 20 nails, 5 charcoal, 3 plastic, 2 ropes]

[Note: To build a water purifier, you must first construct a crafting platform.]

Upon hearing this, Jiang An's initial excitement completely vanished.

[Garbage decomposer detected (one-time use), want to learn?]

"yes."

[Ding! Learning successful. Required materials: 30 plastic, 10 iron blocks, 10 ropes, 10 pieces of glass.]

[Note: To build a waste decomposer, please upgrade your crafting station first!]

Jiang An looked at the materials needed for the two blueprints, sighed, turned off the screen, and decided to avoid seeing them altogether.

First, break down the eight wooden crates that were retrieved into wooden blocks.

[Ding! Decomposition successful.]

She put the 16 wooden blocks, plus the 30 from the wooden box, into the empty space.

It took about ten minutes to sort and categorize the harvested items.

Large items are packed into backpacks, and items that don't fit are put into wooden crates.

After everything was organized, the raft suddenly felt much more spacious.

When Jiang Angang arrived, the raft was still the size of a [Class I raft, 2 x 1 m].

After the upgrade, it has evolved into a [Level 2 Raft: 3Ă—2m]

"Check the materials required for a level three raft."

[Ding! Level 3 Raft: 100 Wood Blocks, 15 Iron Blocks, 10 Plastic, 10 Ropes!]

"We're still missing a lot of materials!" Jiang An said with a wry smile, looking at all the things that needed to be upgraded and built.

The weather at sea is unpredictable, and soon the sun, far in the west, disappeared from sight.

It was getting dark until there wasn't a single ray of light left.

The little food Jiang An had eaten that afternoon had long since been consumed, and the dryness in her mouth and the rumbling in her stomach were already warning signs of danger.
