Chapter 187 I Live Alone (I)

As night falls, beams of light come on from the lamp tubes. The tall street lamps emit a creamy yellow light, bringing a ray of warmth to the passers-by. The colorful neon lights emit rays of light, making the city full of vitality and making the night as bright as day. They decorate the night of Seoul and make it more charming.

However, unlike the bright surroundings, the top floor of a high-end residential building in Jiangnan District was dark.

A movement began.

......

The next morning, after sleeping for an unknown amount of time, Li Yuanbin woke up from bed feeling refreshed.

He didn't look tired at all from staying up all night.

Li Yuanbin rubbed his eyes with his hands and observed the situation around him, only to find that he was the only one in the room.

Picking up the phone on the bedside table, Lee Won-bin found two Kakao messages from Minnie and Huang Lizhi.

After a quick glance, he raised his eyebrows.

"Bon voyage!" x2

After replying to the messages from the two people, Li Yuanbin pulled back the quilt and walked into the bathroom with his clothes.

The content of the message was very brief, basically saying that the two people had plans in the morning, so they left first.

After quickly washing himself and changing his clothes, Li Yuanbin went downstairs and drove to the company.

In fact, he didn't have to come to the company these few days. After all, at this stage, it wouldn't be a problem if the president wasn't there for a day.

But Lee Won Bin has nothing to do...

Then I can only hang out in the company!

Oh, by the way, it’s not that there is nothing to do at all. There is still some things to do, but that will have to wait until tonight.

Yesterday afternoon, when Lee Won-bin was sitting around in the company, he received a call from Kim Taeyeon. After the two chatted, he accepted Kim Taeyeon's invitation.

Taeyeon just moved to another community these days. In addition, the variety show "I Live Alone" invited Kim Taeyeon to be a special guest. After asking people around her, she finally saw the news that Lee Wonbin had returned to China, so she called to ask about the situation.

"I Live Alone" is a TV program broadcast by Peninsula MBC TV that showcases the lives of celebrities living alone. It was directed by Lee Ji-sun and premiered on March 22, 2013.

It is broadcast every Friday night at 23:00.

It was upgraded from the pilot program "Men's Age of Living Alone" on February 1, 2013 to a regular broadcast program.

The current guests include Ki-an 84, Park Na-rae, Lee Si-eun, Henry Lau, Sung Hoon, etc.

Faced with Kim Taeyeon's invitation, Lee Wonbin naturally agreed. Although he might appear on TV, what does it matter?

Now that I think about it, this might be my first time officially appearing on TV, and I have a somewhat different feeling inside.

Just when Lee Won-bin was thinking about what gift to bring to Kim Taeyeon's house in the evening, there was a knock on the office door.

Li Yuanbin looked up and saw Park Seol-yoon walking in with a tablet computer.

Standing in front of the desk, Park Seol-yoon pulled up two reports from the tablet computer and handed them to Lee Won-bin.

"President, the Peninsula Fair Trade Commission has released the latest announcement..."

Park Seol-yoon looked solemn and spoke softly to Lee Won-bin.

Li Yuanbin didn't say anything, but just silently took the tablet and started looking at it.

There are two reports, one about Kering Group and the other about the announcement of the Peninsula Fair Trade Commission.

Yonhap News Agency reported today that the Korean Peninsula Fair Trade Commission recently issued an amendment to the Fair Trade Act, intending to increase control over internal transactions within chaebol companies, circular investments between large companies, and holding company operations.

The main contents of the amendment to the Fair Trade Act are:

The first is to modify the control conditions of chaebol enterprises, expand the scope of control of chaebol enterprises, and increase the number of chaebol enterprises under control from 231 to 607.

Second, the recognition conditions for companies with restricted mutual investment will be revised, and the current regulatory condition of "corporate assets of more than 10 trillion won (about 9 billion US dollars)" will be increased to "accounting for more than 0.5% of the GDP of the previous year" to strengthen the linkage with GDP.

The third is to increase the shareholding ratio requirements of holding companies in their subsidiaries and subordinate companies, from the current 20% to 30% for listed companies, and from the current 40% to 50% for non-listed companies, to prevent holding companies from "taking small risks for big gains" and disrupting the financial market.

As for the report on Kering, it indicates that Kering has reached the "large enterprise scale" standard set by the Peninsula Fair Trade Commission.

The most direct manifestation is that Kering Group's total assets have reached a terrifying level of more than 130 billion US dollars, making it one of the top ten conglomerates on the peninsula.

To be more precise, Kering Group is now ranked among the top five Peninsula conglomerates, and is standing next to Samsung, SK, Hyundai and LG. It’s just that because it has risen too recently, Kering Group’s tentacles have not yet extended to all walks of life in the Peninsula.

Moreover, if Lee Won-bin successfully takes over the Samsung behemoth from Lee Jae-yong in the future, Lee Won-bin may really have no rivals on the peninsula.

In other words, this report on Kering Group means that Kering Group has been identified as a large enterprise by the Peninsula Fair Trade Commission, and any future actions of Kering Group will trigger restrictions from the Peninsula Fair Trade Commission.

In other words, they are here to restrict Lee Won-bin!

After reading the report carefully, Li Yuanbin slowly leaned back in his chair, his right hand naturally resting on the armrest, his five fingers tapping rhythmically on the armrest.
