I originally planned to finish this book after it reached one million words, which means it would be finished after I finished writing The Netherworld.
There is no upper world in my outline. After ascending from the lower world, we will reach modern society.
But later I thought about it and felt that adding a plot of the upper realm might make the story fuller, so I added it.
It’s a pity that the core selling point of this book is that the male protagonist gets married. As he has more wives, the core selling point of the book is basically finished.
So when writing about the upper world, the plot is actually no different from that in the lower world.
Common name: nesting dolls.
If the plot is repeated, it will be boring to write, so I basically just write the upper world in a simple way.
Is this a bad ending? Not really a bad ending.
Why is it not considered a bad ending?
Because this book is more of an everyday text, there is no plot to speak of, no foreshadowing, no pitfalls, and there is no question of whether it has a bad ending or not. It should end when it should.
As for continuing to write about water, writing about the invasion of demons and all that mess, it will only be repetitive and boring.
Now is the most appropriate time to finish it.
Short and perfect.
If necessary, I might write a few extra chapters as supplement.
You may not believe it when I tell you.
Before writing this book, I didn't even know the levels of cultivation for immortal heroes. I only knew about Qi Refining, Foundation Building, Golden Elixir, and Nascent Soul.
Because I never read traditional fantasy novels.
Among them, the three realms of foundation building, golden elixir, and Nascent Soul, I learned about them from watching "The School Beauty's Personal Bodyguard" when I was in my senior year of high school.
In fact, the types of novels I read are very narrow. From the time I started reading to now, I basically only read two types.
One is fantasy.
The second is the city.
I watch more urban dramas, and now I hardly watch fantasy dramas.
One is historical novel.
The second is fan fiction.
The third type is fantasy novels with foreign backgrounds.
In order to force myself to read Lord of Mysteries, I changed two reader accounts and subscribed to them all, but in the end I couldn't even read the chapters that were put on the shelves.
From this example, you can see that I really can’t stand novels with foreign names.
I have been following the book Spirit Walker.
It wasn't until I reached the third volume, the foreign chapter, that I couldn't read any further.
It's numb!
Wait, it seems we've gone off topic.
Why do you want to talk about me reading books? Let’s get back to the point. My next book is going to be an urban one.
Of course, it is a city with extraordinary powers, that is, urban superpowers.
It is tentatively scheduled to be released at the end of the month.
But I'm not sure, it may be released in October.
I have almost finished the outline, setting, and background.
Next we will see how perfect it is.
Post when you feel ready.
To avoid being like this book, where I write whatever comes to my mind every day without any plot at all.
In short, thank you for reading this far, and I hope you will continue to read the next book.
