Chapter 36 Organophosphate Poisoning

"Qin Shi, drool!"

A soft voice came from behind Qin Qing, who was suddenly awakened. She hurriedly reached out to wipe her drool, her face instantly turning red. She was so embarrassed that she wished she could find a crack in the ground to crawl into.

She kept cursing in her mind. Being caught drooling over a handsome man and getting caught red-handed... She could never do something so shameful!

It's the original body! She must have been attracted to the hunky man; she was passively influenced!

Wang Yan turned his head and saw this scene. The corners of his lips turned up slightly. He found it amusing. For the first time, he felt that it was quite nice to be cared for like this. Perhaps... his mother was right. It was time for him to find someone.

When Qin Qing finally calmed down and went into the tent to check on Huang Zhong, he didn't dare to look Wang Yan in the eye!

Once she lifted Huang Zhong's eyelids, she immediately focused intently and began to examine him closely, her brows furrowing more and more.

"Pupils are pinpoint constricted, tracheal constriction and difficulty breathing, excessive salivation, opisthotonus, hypoxia, mild convulsions, and a garlic odor in the mouth. Preliminary diagnosis: organophosphate poisoning!"

Hearing her series of unfamiliar adjectives, Wang Yan looked puzzled and confused, but he understood the last two words very well, and his expression suddenly turned cold.

"Poisoning?"

A cold voice came from behind Qin Qing, who then realized that this was ancient times and they couldn't understand her.

"It's pretty much poisoning."

After saying that, she turned Huang Zhong to the side, put her fingers into his throat, placed his left hand on his right shoulder, and turned to the soldier beside her.

"You two lift up Deputy General Huang's feet, tilting him to the side. You hold his shoulders and stick your fingers into his mouth to dislodge him!"

After saying that, he looked at Wang Yan.

"General, could you please fetch a large glass of water from outside? And quickly!"

Seeing that the others had started operating the equipment, Wang Yan suppressed his doubts and quickly went out to get water.

Fortunately, Huang Zhong had just finished eating and the food hadn't been fully digested yet. After all that commotion, he woke up quickly, feeling completely exhausted and weak. He felt his fingers digging into his mouth and couldn't help but vomit.

A strange smell filled the tent, but Qin Qing remained unfazed.

"You've been poisoned. The only thing you can do now is to vomit it out. Here, drink some water first!"

Huang Zhong was panting heavily, barely able to open his eyes due to the discomfort. His face was extremely pale. After slowly drinking the water, he felt a little guilty. He had insulted Sister Qin earlier, but he hadn't expected her to be so gentle.

Just as I was starting to feel better and was about to say thank you, I heard a calm command in my ear.

"You two young men, hang him upside down and make him vomit up all the water he just drank!"

As soon as he finished speaking, even though Huang Zhong was exhausted, he couldn't help but open his eyes abruptly. His pale face couldn't hide his surprise and disbelief.

"shrew!

Before he could even start cursing, his feet were suddenly lifted up, his whole body was thrown upside down, his mind went blank, and a hand was once again put into his mouth and stirred, and he instantly felt nauseous.

"vomit…"

Wang Yan watched all this with a serious expression. Even though he had been through many battles and was used to life and death, he couldn't help but frown. He felt disgusted. This method of saving people was too disgusting.

After a short while, seeing that Huang Zhong had vomited enough, she had the soldiers lay him flat and then began to gulp down water!

"You wicked woman! I..."

Wailing and cursing came from inside the tent, followed by a series of "whooshing" sounds.

When An Ziyun returned, he heard the furious shout coming from Huang Zhong from afar. He was wondering why Huang Zhong, the deputy general, was still so energetic despite being poisoned.

As he approached, his eyes lit up, and after witnessing Qin Qing perform the entire process of purging Huang Zhong's stomach, he was filled with surprise and sudden realization!

"Is that so?! How come I didn't think of that!"

Qin Qing was also exhausted. Seeing that she had almost finished washing, she finally slowly got up, but her legs went numb and she fell forward, crashing straight into the unconscious and exhausted Huang Zhong.

"ah!"

After a gasp, the expected face-plant didn't happen; instead, she was caught in a rather comical way. She looked down at the large hand on her chest, somewhat bewildered…

The surrounding soldiers quickly lowered their heads and could only steal glances in this direction. An Ziyun, on the other hand, was engrossed in his own world and did not notice this scene at all.

Before Qin Qing could react, she remained frozen in place when suddenly, a hand moved across her chest and pinched it. She turned her head, and the man behind her seemed to realize what was happening as well, quickly pulling her back with a tug.

He abruptly released her, and before Qin Qing could even look over, Wang Yan had already walked out of the tent. No one saw his expression; Qin Qing could only glance at his retreating figure with a sense of unease. Was it just her imagination? General Wang was so calm; she must be overthinking it…!

The man who stepped out of the tent was breathing heavily, his eyes were darting around, his lips were tightly pressed together, his right hand inside his sleeve was still trembling slightly, and his whole body was somewhat stiff.

His seemingly calm and composed steps were actually unsteady and tense. Before he knew it, Wang Yan bumped into someone.

"Can't you watch where you're going? Which camp's kid... checkmate?"

The thin man was knocked to the ground and immediately shouted at him. After seeing the man's face, he immediately knelt down in fear, his eyes lowered guiltily, not daring to look up at all.

Wang Yan snapped out of his daze, glanced at the man on the ground, and said nothing. Just as he was about to leave, a very pungent smell wafted into his nostrils, causing him to frown.

What a horrible smell! And it seems kind of familiar!

The man on the ground, whether out of guilt or something else, just knelt there without saying a word. Wang Yan found it strange but didn't pay much attention to it.

"It's nothing! You may leave now!"

After saying that, he turned and left, only then realizing that he had unknowingly walked a long way and had reached the edge of the army's rear.

As soon as he finished speaking, the thin man quickly agreed, got up and left, but after taking a few steps, Wang Yan felt an even stronger sense of familiarity.

A few seconds later, he suddenly turned around abruptly, his sharp eyes fixed on the thin man's back.

"Wait! Which camp are you from?"

Upon hearing this, the thin man froze, then ran off without turning his head.

This unusual behavior made Wang Yan feel uneasy, and he quickly chased after the man in front of him. However, the man in front of him was also fast, and there were not many people around. The two chased each other without hesitation.

After a while, the thin man disappeared into a group of soldiers. Wang Yan squinted and searched for a long time but found nothing.

"Logistics troops!"

After a calm call, the group of soldiers in front of him finally noticed his presence. The group, who had just been cooking enthusiastically, quickly knelt down in surprise.

The middle-aged man at the head of the group quickly and cautiously spoke up.

"General, is there something wrong? We have not violated any military law!"

Wang Yan ignored him, and after looking around again to make sure the thin man had left, he pursed his lips, said it was nothing, and left.
