On Saturday morning, when Cassandra was having breakfast in the Hogwarts Great Hall, she paid special attention and found that there was no sign of Wentworth and Cedric, which made Cassandra very satisfied.
"Very good, it seems that these two people haven't gotten up yet. This time, I don't believe that I can't wait for you guys!"
Cassandra said to herself.
But what Cassandra didn't know was that Wentworth and Cedric had already arrived at the Shrieking Shack through the secret passage under the Whomping Willow.
"Bang!"
Wentworth fell heavily against the wall of the Shrieking Shack, and struggled to get up for a long time.
Wentworth covered his chest and said with some dissatisfaction: "Cedric, I finally understand why you didn't let me have breakfast! Are you afraid that I will vomit all over you? Can't you control your magic?!"
But Cedric said nonchalantly, "Wentworth, you said you wanted to test the effect of your protective spell. If I don't try my best, it will be meaningless!"
Then, Cedric changed the subject and said meaningfully: "Moreover, Wentworth, the enemies you will face in the future will definitely not have lower magic levels than me! The most important thing is, you don't know when they will come!"
Hearing what Cedric said, Lupin, who was leaning aside and watching the two men fighting, clapped his hands and said encouragingly: "Cedric is right, Wentworth, your opponent will not show mercy just because of his youth! If you are tired, we can take a rest first!"
But Wentworth just brushed off the dirt on his body, picked up the wand that fell on the ground, looked at Cedric and said:
"Come again!"
On the other hand, after breakfast, Cassandra came to the Hufflepuff common room again. As a result, she waited for a whole day! From the initial anticipation, to the later impatience, and finally to the end of life, Cassandra gradually had only one question in her mind! "Could this leader of the witch party, the heir of the Grindelwald family, the descendant of the first generation of the Dark Lord, have been ruined by Hogwarts?!"
As the sun was about to set, Cassandra finally couldn't stand the torture anymore and strode straight towards the Hufflepuff common room.
At this moment, Green happened to come back from the library.
"Cassandra? What are you doing?"
Seeing Cassandra's aggressive look, Green couldn't help but ask subconsciously.
When Cassandra saw Green, she immediately looked up and said, "Senior Green, please call Wentworth out!"
When Green heard this, a playful smile appeared on his face. He looked Cassandra up and down and said:
"Miss Cassandra, has Wentworth done anything to offend you? If so, don't worry, as the head of Hufflepuff, I will never favor students from our house!"
However, Cassandra showed a disdainful smile and sneered:
"Just him? Does he dare?!"
"So what are you doing?"
Green asked with a puzzled look on his face.
Cassandra let out a long sigh and told herself that she must stay calm. After a moment, Cassandra finally regained her composure, smiled politely, and said to Green:
"It's like this, Senior Green. I see the weather is pretty good today, so I want to ask Wentworth if he's interested in taking a walk together?"
Green looked up at the setting sun and said with some doubt:
Cassandra: "...None of your business?!"
Green laughed and explained to Cassandra:
"Cassandra, Wentworth went out with Cedric early this morning. As for where they went, I'm sorry, no one knows."
After hearing Green's words, Cassandra knew that she had waited in vain today, and she gritted her teeth and said:
"Thank you, Senior Green. I'll take my leave now!"
Seeing Cassandra was about to leave, Green quickly asked from behind: "Cassandra, do you have anything to say to Wentworth? Do you need me to tell him for you?"
Cassandra thought about it, and finally shook her head, turned and left the Hufflepuff common room.
In fact, it was not impossible to ask Green to tell Wentworth that she would wait for him in the Room of Requirement tonight, but for some reason, Cassandra still didn't say it.
Even though she had been waiting for Wentworth here for a whole day and was extremely angry, for some reason, Cassandra breathed a sigh of relief.
Not long after Cassandra left, Wentworth and Cedric returned to the Hufflepuff common room and happened to run into Green who was about to go to dinner.
"What a coincidence, let's go together!"
Green greeted the two of them.
As the three of them were on their way to the auditorium, Wentworth casually asked:
"Did anything special happen today?"
Green thought for a moment and said with a smile:
“Nothing happened!”
Green appeared calm on the surface, but he was roaring in his heart: "Wentworth! Don't blame me! I'm already on board your witch party's pirate ship! Women are nothing, they will only slow down the speed at which you cast spells! As my boss, you must become stronger as soon as possible! Don't make me regret it! I'm doing this for your own good!"
And so, for several weeks in a row, every weekend, Wentworth and Cedric went to the Shrieking Shack as usual to learn spells from Lupin.
Cassandra, on the other hand, would come to the door of the Hufflepuff common room every week, but always came back with nothing.
Sometimes, Cassandra even had the illusion that she was just like what was described in a Muggle novel she had read in the past.
In a Muggle school, a girl fell in love with a boy, but she didn't dare to confess her feelings. She could only secretly observe the boy on his way home from school every evening.
Whenever she thought of this, Cassandra would shake her head vigorously, telling herself that she must not forget that the hope of her father's salvation still lies with Wentworth! And there is another person who has been watching all this with cold eyes, and that person is Green! "Could it be that Cassandra really likes Wentworth? But I haven't heard that Wentworth has anything in common with her? Unrequited love?"
When Green once again ran into Cassandra wandering outside the lounge, he couldn't help but mutter to himself.
When another week passed and Cassandra still failed to see Wentworth on the weekend, finally, Christine, who was in Hogsmeade village, couldn't bear it anymore.
When Cassandra sneaked into Hogsmeade again and knocked on the door, a big hand grabbed Cassandra's hair and pulled her in! (End of this chapter)
