When the dinner was about to end and Headmaster Dumbledore and the other professors had already left, Cassandra walked directly to the Hufflepuff table.
Wentworth watched Cassandra walk towards him, but he was confused and puzzled.
Then, Cassandra came to Wentworth, pointed at Cedric and Green beside Wentworth, and said directly: "Wentworth, I want to be like them and become your... woo woo..."
Cassandra had just said half of her words when Wentworth's face suddenly changed. He stood up and covered Cassandra's mouth with his hand.
This action startled the students around, and someone asked curiously: "Wentworth, Cassandra just said she wanted to be what of yours?"
Wentworth smiled awkwardly and said casually, "She just said she wanted to be my friend, Cassandra. We have always been friends, haven't we!"
Wentworth said as he pulled Cassandra out of the Hogwarts Great Hall.
It was not until the two of them left the auditorium and came to an empty corridor that Wentworth let go of Cassandra's hand. Cassandra said quickly:
"Wentworth, I'm not talking about becoming your friend! I want to be your follower, just like Cedric and Green. They have already joined the Witch Party, right? I want to join the Witch Party too."
Wentworth glanced at Cassandra unhappily and said:
"Save some energy for me! What are you yelling about? Do you want the whole school to know my identity?"
Cassandra smiled and responded, "If you don't want them to know your identity, then let me join your Witch Party!"
Unexpectedly, Wentworth directly rejected Cassandra and said, "No! Don't even think about it!"
Wentworth's response made Cassandra frown and asked in confusion:
"Why? Is it because I'm not good enough? But I think I'm no worse than Cedric and Green! In the same grade, I can do what they can do! Is it because I'm a girl?"
Hearing Cassandra's doubts, Wentworth immediately pointed at Cassandra and said:
"I'm warning you, that's not what I mean, don't punch me at every turn!"
Then, Wentworth began to explain:
"My dear Miss Cassandra, can you use your brain to think about it! Where is this place? This is Hogwarts, and the headmaster here is called Dumbledore!"
"Principal Dumbledore may allow me to go to school here, but he will never allow me to develop a wizarding party in Hogwarts!"
"If he knew that I was at Hogwarts, in his school, and I let my students join the Witch Party right under his nose, guess what would happen to me?!"
Hearing Wentworth's words, Cassandra frowned and asked, "What about Cedric and Green?"
Seeing Cassandra's persistence, Wentworth had no choice but to continue explaining:
"Their situations are a bit special. Moreover, since I entered Hogwarts, the three of us have been together all day. All the professors and students know about it. Therefore, their joining the Witch Party will not attract other people's attention."
"But you are different! If you suddenly follow us all day long, it will be hard not to attract other people's attention! Don't forget, you are Slytherin! The proud Slytherin!"
After hearing Wentworth's explanation, Cassandra suddenly felt disappointed. She never expected that when she took the initiative to pledge allegiance to someone, she would be rejected by the other party.
But on second thought, Cassandra had to admit that Wentworth was right.
Wentworth: "......??? Whatever you want!"
When they returned to the Hufflepuff common room, Cedric and Green were indeed waiting for Wentworth there. When they saw Wentworth coming back, they immediately went to greet him.
"What did you say to Cassandra?"
Cedric asked curiously.
Wentworth repeated his conversation with Cassandra tonight to the two of them.
When the two heard that Cassandra actually wanted to join the Witch Party, Cedric immediately stretched out his hand to Green, who sighed, shook his head, took out a gold galleon from his arms and put it in Wentworth's hand.
Wentworth: "??? Are you two betting on me?"
Cedric smiled awkwardly, first put away the Galleon in his hand, and then explained:
"It was Green. He insisted to me that Cassandra wanted to confess her love to you. I said it was impossible, so we made a bet."
After hearing Cedric's explanation, Wentworth seemed even angrier. Seeing Wentworth angry, Cedric was about to explain something, but Wentworth angrily said to Cedric:
"Why do you think it's impossible? Am I not handsome enough? Or am I not good enough?"
Cedric: “???”
After playing around for a while, the three of them went back to their own dormitories to rest. After all, they were very tired after sitting on the train for a whole day.
However, just after Green parted with Cedric and Wentworth, Green turned around at the door of his dormitory, but walked straight out of the Hufflepuff common room.
Green came to the door of Slytherin's common room without hesitation. Looking at the Slytherin common room in front of him, a gleam of light flashed in Green's eyes.
Then, Green stopped a Slytherin student and said to him:
"Please help me call Cassandra Revo and tell her that Hufflepuff Green wants to see her."
A moment later, Cassandra walked out of the Slytherin common room with a bewildered look on her face and asked, "Senior Green, what do you want to talk to me about?"
Green smiled at Cassandra and said:
"Cassandra, I know everything you said to Wentworth tonight. Do you really want to follow in Wentworth's footsteps?"
Hearing Green's question, Cassandra nodded without hesitation.
Seeing this, Green said: "In this case, I have an idea for you. You can..."
After hearing Green's words, Cassandra frowned and said hesitantly:
"Is your method reliable?"
Green nodded confidently and frantically! (End of this chapter)
