Chapter 204 Action Begins

Snape's words made Professor McGonagall swallow back the words that were about to come out of her mouth. Professor McGonagall took a deep breath and then said, "You are so lucky. Not all students can survive after seeing the troll. Add five points to each of you! You know, you are so lucky!"

Hearing Professor McGonagall's words, Hermione and the others were pleasantly surprised and couldn't help showing their joy. However, at this moment, Harry suddenly noticed that Snape seemed to have been bitten by something on his leg.

After saying this, Professor McGonagall turned around and left angrily. Snape followed closely behind and also turned around and left, leaving only Professor Quirrell to clean up the mess.

Professor Quirrell clapped his hands and said to everyone with a smile:

"Okay kids, you should go back!"

Hearing Professor Quirrell's words, Wentworth took the lead and walked out without hesitation, while the others followed Wentworth and walked out one after another.

After saying goodbye to each other, everyone left and went to the lounge of their respective colleges.

When Wentworth and Cedric returned to the Hufflepuff common room, Green was the only one in the common room where many students would gather in the evening.

Seeing Wentworth and Cedric return, Green hurriedly went to greet them and asked, "How is it going? Is everything going well?"

Wentworth sighed, then replied, "It was a close call. What about you?"

Green smiled and said:

"Everything went well. I got everyone back to their dormitories."

Wentworth nodded, then looked at Green and Cedric and said, "Haven't you always wanted to know what I'm going to do tonight? Now I can tell you! Our goal tonight is the greatest treasure in the wizarding world - the Philosopher's Stone!"

As soon as Wentworth finished speaking, he heard Cedric and Green exclaim:

"Immortality?!"

"Unlimited gold coins?!"

Wentworth glanced at Green with dissatisfaction and said:

"You play games here and you have unlimited coins?!"

But Green grabbed Wentworth and said in disbelief: "Oh my God, Wentworth, is this really the Philosopher's Stone? The legendary Philosopher's Stone?"

Wentworth nodded and said with great certainty:

"Yes, it is the Philosopher's Stone you mentioned, the Philosopher's Stone made by Nicolas Flamel himself!"

After hearing Wentworth's answer, Green and Cedric looked at each other, and Green said, "I am now extremely glad that I joined the Wizarding Party. It is the same magical world, but different wizards see completely different views! The Philosopher's Stone! That is a legendary thing! I never thought that one day I would actually see this legendary artifact with my own eyes!"

But Wentworth opened his mouth to remind:

"Green, I want to tell you in advance that I can't give you the Philosopher's Stone. I have other uses for it. If you want gold coins, I can give them to you!"

Hearing Wentworth's words, Green immediately jumped up and said:

"Wentworth, you know me well! Even if you want to give it to me, I won't take it! What a joke! I don't want to be targeted by some weird wizard! Don't worry, Wentworth, as long as I can see it with my own eyes, I will be satisfied!"

After hearing the two's answers, Wentworth nodded with great satisfaction. It was not that Wentworth did not believe Green or Cedric and thought they would compete with him for the Philosopher's Stone, but Wentworth liked to talk about things in advance to avoid any misunderstandings later! After getting the two's answers, Wentworth looked around to make sure that no one had discovered the three of them, then waved his hand and said, "Okay, let's go! Don't keep them waiting!"

Then, Wentworth walked out, while Green and Cedric followed behind Wentworth, looking at each other in confusion, wondering who else Wentworth had invited to participate in this operation.

Soon, under the leadership of Wentworth, the three of them arrived at the corridor on the fourth floor of Hogwarts Castle. They walked along the corridor to a wooden door, and Wentworth stopped.

Wentworth stopped in front of the wooden door and said to Cedric:

"Did you bring the things I asked you to bring?"

Cedric nodded repeatedly, then took out a recorder from his arms.

Seeing this, Wentworth nodded and instructed Cedric:

"After you go in, you must play the recorder immediately. Do you understand?"

Seeing that Wentworth spoke so formally, Cedric was also made a little nervous by Wentworth. He swallowed his saliva and nodded repeatedly.

Then, as Wentworth pushed open the wooden door in front of him, a heavy breathing sounded in everyone's ears.

Wentworth walked in first, and then whispered to Cedric:

"Quick, blow the recorder!"

Although he didn't know the significance of Wentworth's arrangement, Cedric put the recorder to his lips as soon as he entered the room.

As Cedric and Green gradually adapted to the darkness before their eyes, they finally saw that there was a huge creature in this room.

They saw a huge three-headed dog lying in front of the three people. When Cedric saw the three-headed dog clearly, he was frightened by its huge size and forgot to play the harp in his mouth.

However, just as the harp music stopped, the three of them saw that the huge three-headed dog shook its body and its eyelids kept twitching, as if it was about to wake up.

Seeing this, Cedric blew the recorder in his hand with all his might without Wentworth's reminder, and only then did the three-headed dog in front of him calm down.

And Wentworth said softly:

"Don't stop, Cedric. My life is in your hands!"

After saying this, without waiting for Cedric and Green to respond, Wentworth took two steps to the front of the three-headed dog and began to search for something under its body.

Soon, Wentworth seemed to have discovered something and tried to push the three-headed dog's front legs away, but the three-headed dog was too huge. Seeing this, Green immediately ran up and together with Wentworth, pushed the three-headed dog's front legs away, revealing the secret door under the three-headed dog's feet.

Wentworth waved his hand and asked Cedric to come over. When Cedric came to the secret door while playing the flute, Wentworth just said: "The devil's snare is below!"

Then he dived down.
