Chapter 239 Lily's Paper Cranes

The voice behind Quirrell cursed angrily: "Useless! This has nothing to do with us! The Book of Admission is much stricter than the Pen of Acceptance! Only a slight fluctuation of magic is enough to cause a reaction from the Pen of Acceptance, but this little magic is not enough to be recognized by the Book of Admission."

"Children without magical powers may occasionally have some residual magical aura surrounding them because of their parents. But once their parents' magic no longer surrounds them, then there is no doubt that they have no ability to cast spells at all!"

Just as Quirrell was curiously looking at the Book of Admission and the Pen of Acceptance in front of him, Ron and Harry had already arrived at the corridor in front of the Room of Requirement.

Harry was walking back and forth in the corridor, whispering, "I need a room to study in!"

He said it three times in a row, and when Harry turned his head to look at the empty wall again, he saw a new wooden door appear on the wall.

Seeing this, Harry and Ron looked at each other, then excitedly pushed the door open and walked in.

"Wow!"

As soon as he entered the door, Ron couldn't help but exclaimed.

I saw that half of the huge room was filled with tall bookshelves, which were filled with all kinds of books and notes.

On the other side, there are dummies for practicing spells and even a workbench for making potions. The only pity is that there are no herbs on the workbench, otherwise, Professor Sprout would not have to work so hard in the future.

Scanning the entire room, Harry and Ron couldn't help but go to the bookshelf first.

Not only were there textbooks for various Hogwarts courses over the years, the two even found notes from various courses left by countless Hogwarts students over the years in front of one of the bookshelves.

The dazzling array of items on the bookshelf almost dazzled Harry and Ron.

At this moment, Harry suddenly saw Snape's name on a notebook.

Seeing this, Harry hesitated for a moment, but still pulled her out of the bookshelf.

At this moment, Ron on the side shouted in surprise:

"Oh my god, I found my father's notes! I didn't expect that my father's grades at Hogwarts were actually quite good. I thought my father was just bragging to me!"

Ignoring the excited Ron beside him, Harry gently opened Snape's notebook in his hand and then flipped through it quickly.

On the cover page of the notebook, it was written: Severus Snape - Third Grade.

Apparently, these were notes Snape had taken during his own third year.

However, as Harry flipped through the pages, he found Snape more and more suspicious, because the entire notebook contained almost all content related to dark magic.

Although not as extreme as the Unforgivable Curses, the effects of many of the spells recorded were enough to make Harry feel terrified when he read them.

Even some spells that are not black magic can still cause serious consequences. Harry knows that this is what people call the poison curse.

For example, one of the spells can make the opponent's front teeth grow wildly and uncontrollably. If you are unlucky, the opponent's front teeth will even penetrate the opponent's chin.

If the previous spell still had some elements of prank in it, then the next spell was even more vicious. Ugly boils would appear on the skin of the person who was cursed, causing him to suffer excruciating pain.

Just seeing the effects of these spells gave Harry a chill.

"Harry! Come and look, Harry! Look what I have found! Lily Evans, is that your mother's name?"

Hearing Ron's exclamation, Harry immediately put down Snape's notes and hurried over. Looking at the name Lily Evans on the notebook, Harry was excited and said with some trembling: "Yes, it's my mother's name!"

Then, Harry took his mother's notebook from Ron's hand, stroked it gently, and his eyes became wet almost instantly.

Seeing Harry's expression, Ron couldn't help but patted Harry's shoulder gently, and then said, "Open it and have a look, Harry. If there is anything you can use, then take your mother's notes to review. Your mother will definitely bless you and get a good grade in the final exam, right?"

Although Harry knew that Ron said this to comfort him, he was still very moved and said "thank you".

Then, Harry gently opened the cover of his mother's notebook with a pilgrimage-like mood.

"Hey, what is this?"

Ron couldn't help but speak.

I saw something clipped on the cover of the notebook with Lily Evans' name on it.

When Harry took it out, Ron said in surprise: "It looks like a paper crane?!"

Harry carefully held it in his palm and observed it carefully, saying, "Yes, it is a paper crane! What a beautiful paper crane! I think the person who folded it must be very beautiful! This must be a paper crane folded by my mother herself."

Seeing that his friend got a relic of his late mother, Ron was also happy for Harry. He said to Harry with a smile: "Not necessarily, Harry. Your mother put this paper crane in the title page of her notebook. Obviously, this paper crane is very important to your mother. I guess this paper crane may be a gift from your father to your mother! Maybe it is a token of their love!"

Hearing Ron's words, Harry smiled slightly and said noncommittally: "Maybe!"

Harry felt that he could accept either situation.

Then Harry continued to flip through his mother's notes. After a while, Harry and Ron looked strange, and Ron couldn't wait to say:

"No way, why do some of the contents in your mother's notebook seem so familiar to me?"

Harry nodded slightly and said:

"Yes, although my mother did not specify it, this should be the notes my mother took when she was in the first grade, because the contents of several courses are almost exactly the same as what we are learning now."

"You see, the content of History of Magic is the most similar, and has hardly changed at all. However, some courses, such as Potions, have changed the most compared to now."

Ron said in disbelief:

"I actually got it right?! Harry, I think you can rest assured about the final exam. Even God is helping you!"

Harry shook his head, gently stroked the paper crane, and said, "I think it's my parents who are helping me. They love me!"
