Chapter 307 Missing is a Mistake

Hermione couldn't help but frown when she heard the other party's answer.

The King of Hearts? This is obviously a code name! Could it be that the other party is not a person, but an organization? Thinking of this, Hermione seemed to suddenly remember something, and couldn't help but point at the "self" opposite and said: "You...are you a member of the organization called the Secret Party?"

Cassandra was also stunned, but couldn't help asking:

"How do you know I'm a member of the secret party?"

Hermione was also surprised to hear the other party really admit it, but she still explained:

"Because, that night in the Room of Requirement, I noticed that each of you had a playing card on the stone table in front of you! And the King of Hearts was one of the cards in the playing card."

After hearing Hermione's explanation, Cassandra nodded with satisfaction and praised:

"Excellent observation! Now I understand why JoKer wanted to choose you to join the secret party!"

Hermione was not delighted to hear what "herself" said, but asked tentatively: "So, it was you who opened the Chamber of Secrets? Are you the descendants of Salazar Slytherin?"

Hearing Hermione's question, Cassandra sighed and shook her head, and replied with some disappointment:

"I just praised you, and you asked a stupid question! Would the heir of Salazar Slytherin intend to recruit a wizard from a Muggle family into the organization he founded?"

After hearing Cassandra's explanation, Hermione finally realized that her previous question was a bit ridiculous.

However, Hermione couldn't help but ask, "So, why did you disguise yourself as me and enter Ginny's dormitory?"

Cassandra said nonchalantly: "To carry out JoKer's orders!"

Hearing this, Hermione frowned slightly and repeated, "Follow...JoKer's...orders?"

Cassandra nodded, then explained:

"Yes, JoKer has issued an order, requiring the secret party members to work together to solve the problem of the secret room as soon as possible. Moreover, we have found some clues through investigation."

Hearing Cassandra's words, Hermione quickly asked:

"You showed up in Ginny's dormitory. Does that mean it was Ginny who opened the door to the Chamber of Secrets? Ginny is the heir of Salazar Slytherin? No, that's ridiculous! That's impossible!"

Cassandra on the other side nodded and said, "Yes, that is indeed impossible. Ginny is from the Weasley family, one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight Families. She certainly cannot be the heir of Salazar Slytherin."

Hearing "herself" saying the same thing, Hermione was completely confused.

Fortunately, Cassandra continued to speak and explained herself: "She is just a poor creature who was taken advantage of!"

Hearing this, Hermione couldn't help but quickly asked:

"Who? Who took advantage of Ginny? Ginny's mental state has been very bad recently. Was that person also responsible?"

However, this time, Cassandra did not answer Hermione's question immediately as she did before. Instead, she smiled and said:

"I'm sorry, I've already told you enough! What comes next is the secret of our secret party. I'm sorry, I can't tell you!"

Hearing Cassandra's words, Hermione immediately understood what Cassandra meant. After a brief thought, Hermione gritted her teeth, nodded heavily, and said:

"I know what you mean. I am willing to join the secret party!"

However, the next second, Hermione was surprised to find that the "herself" on the other side actually shook his head and said: "I'm sorry, I refuse!"

"Why?"

The "self" on the other side slowly explained:

"Because only JoKer can invite new members to join the secret party, but last time, you rejected his invitation and gave up this opportunity yourself!"

At this point, Hermione saw that the "self" opposite her gradually became serious and said word by word:

"The Secret Party is not a place where you can come and go as you please!"

After hearing the answer from "herself", Hermione was silent for a while. After a long time, Hermione continued to ask: "So, how can I join the secret party again?"

Cassandra smiled in her heart, but said calmly:

"Wait until JoKer invites you again!"

Hearing this, Hermione couldn't wait to ask: "Then when will he..."

But this time, Cassandra didn't wait for Hermione to finish, and said hurriedly:

"Well, if you miss some opportunities, you can only wait for the next time. If you miss some opportunities, they will never come back. As for which one you are, only JoKer knows! Sometimes, missing out is a mistake!"

"Let's end today's matter here. You'd better keep what I told you a secret. Otherwise, I'm not sure what will happen. You may not understand our strength yet, but you should be able to see that the secret party is everywhere!"

Then, Cassandra reached out to Hermione's wand that was knocked away, and the next second, Hermione's wand flew into Cassandra's hand.

Cassandra's move really stunned Hermione on the opposite side.

Hermione's love for spells came from the heart. Even in the current environment, Hermione couldn't help but ask:

"How did you do that?"

Cassandra smiled modestly and said nonchalantly:

"It's very simple, just silent casting and wandless casting!"

Although Cassandra said it very easily, Hermione knew the difficulty involved, even if it was just the simplest Flying Spell.

However, before Hermione could ask again, she saw "herself" on the other side couldn't wait to say: "Think carefully about what you missed, and think about how to attract Joker's attention again and let him give you another chance!"

After saying that, Hermione saw "herself" opposite her and turned away without looking back.

Hermione stared at the wand in her hand, lost in thought for a moment.

Cassandra, who had left Hermione, quickly found the nearest bathroom and hurriedly changed out of her Gryffindor clothes.

The reason why Cassandra left in a hurry was that she felt that the polyjuice potion she was taking was about to expire, so she made up an excuse and hurriedly left Hermione.

However, Cassandra, who was changing clothes, seemed to hear some strange noises, but when she listened carefully, she could not hear any noises.

Cassandra shook her head, suspecting that she had heard it wrong, so she didn't care. Then, Cassandra walked out of the bathroom cubicle while tidying up her clothes.

When Cassandra was about to tidy herself up in front of the mirror, she was horrified to find a pair of huge eyes appeared on the edge of the mirror.
