Chapter 33 Conflict

Green himself seemed a little embarrassed, but he still explained softly:

"Wentworth, although I also hate Slytherin, I have to admit that most of them come from pure-blood wizard families. They are indeed more talented, and some of them have mastered some family-specific magic. I am indeed no match for Welin."

After hearing Green's explanation and seeing that Welin had become arrogant again and was about to support Cassandra in leaving, Wentworth still stood up.

"Stop! Are you planning to leave like this?"

Welin's attention had always been on Green. Wentworth suddenly stood up, which really scared Welin. But when Welin saw clearly that the person who stood up was a freshman who had just entered Hogwarts a few days ago, he smiled disdainfully.

"What do you want to do, little guy?"

Wentworth walked up to the strongest side of the Hufflepuff camp and said in a dignified manner:

"I should be the one asking you this, Senior Weilin. Why did you bring people to stop me here? To slap me in the face? To slap me in the face is to slap Hufflepuff in the face! It's to slap the face of Hufflepuff's thousand-year-old heritage!"

Seeing that Wentworth, a freshman, dared to stand up and provoke him, making him lose face in front of Cassandra, Weilin roared in anger:

"I'm going to slap you Hufflepuffs in the face! What can you do? You're just a bunch of mud... half-bloods. I'm a noble pure-blood wizard!"

Welin's roar echoed throughout the corridor outside the Hogwarts Great Hall, but he was not hopeless. He never uttered the word "Mudblood" after all, which made Wentworth feel a little regretful, but it was enough.

The heavy breathing behind him told Wentworth that Hufflepuff's anger was about to be ignited.

Wentworth gently raised a finger, waved it at Welin and said, "Senior Welin, I think you don't understand one thing! No matter what family we are in the outside world, as long as we enter Hogwarts and pick up the wand, we are all wizards! There is no difference between Slytherin's spells and Hufflepuff's spells! They both hurt when they hit people!"

At this point, Wentworth's voice suddenly rose: "We are friendly Hufflepuffs, and we are also Hufflepuffs who are not afraid of hardships. If we let you leave like this, I'm afraid we will not be able to face the statue of Mrs. Hufflepuff in the future!"

Hearing Wentworth's words, Green and others behind him cheered and the noise gradually rose.

But Weilin still said nonchalantly: "I'm leaving, what can you do? You think you can stop me? Have you ever taken a spell class? Can you cast even one spell?"

Wentworth spread his hands carelessly and said helplessly, "I really can't stop you, Senior Welin, but I said, you hit the entire Hufflepuff in the face!"

At this moment, Weilin felt someone gently pulling the corner of his clothes.

"what?"

Weilin growled softly, rather impatiently.

But then, when Welin followed the finger of the person behind him and looked around, he found that he and his group had been surrounded by Hufflepuff students without realizing it.

Cedric seemed a little embarrassed and wanted to say something but held back. However, Green listened with great interest and took out a pen and paper to write down a few words from time to time.

At this moment, seeing that things were happening beyond her plan, Cassandra couldn't help but stand up and said, "Wentworth, are you going to declare war on us Slytherins on behalf of Hufflepuff?!"

It must be said that Cassandra was much smarter than Welin. With one sentence, she put the blame on Wentworth! If Wentworth said yes, then when the school investigated in the future, it would be Hufflepuff who took the initiative to cause trouble for Slytherin. If Wentworth said no, then all his previous efforts would be in vain.

But Wentworth did not answer Cassandra's question directly. Instead, he pretended to be surprised and said, "Cassandra, what do you mean by that? How did it mean that Hufflepuff and Slytherin have declared war? Just now, Waring called Gryffindor idiots, but the Gryffindor students haven't even declared war on you!"

As soon as Wentworth finished speaking, the scene fell silent. The Gryffindor students were happily eating melon seeds on the side, but they didn't expect that the melon seeds would be thrown at them.

"You're talking nonsense! I didn't!"

Welin hastily denied it. After all, he had already offended a Hufflepuff today. If Gryffindor was offended as well, he might not be able to get out of here.

"You say you didn't? Then do you dare to swear in the name of Merlin? Or in the name of Slytherin! You have to think clearly, you are not only representing yourself, but also the face of Slytherin!"

Wentworth said leisurely.

Seeing that Welin didn't dare to swear, the Gryffindor students finally believed that Welin had really said that! This time, the Gryffindor students were also angry. You know, Gryffindor's temper is much more irritable than Hufflepuff's.

Led by the Weasley brothers, many Gryffindors rushed up instantly. At Wentworth's signal, the Hufflepuffs who had been surrounding Weylin once again displayed their friendly Hufflepuff style and made way for the Gryffindor students.

Although everyone was relatively restrained and did not use magic, there was still some pushing and shoving between them. So, surrounded by Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, Welin and the others felt a little precarious.

Weilin, who had never suffered such an injustice, saw Wentworth looking at him with a teasing look on his face outside the crowd through the gaps in the crowd, and he could no longer endure this humiliation.

Driven by anger, Welin suddenly pushed aside the people in front of him, ran a few steps towards Wentworth, and stretched out his wand, aiming at Wentworth! When Wentworth reacted, Welin had already arrived in front of him, and Cedric and Cork were also stunned by this sudden scene, and did not react for a while.

At this moment, an angry shout came from not far away:

"Stop! Ava... Expelliarmus!"

A spell flew over and hit Welin, and Welin's wand flew out instantly! But Welin himself did not lose momentum, and he threw himself into Wentworth's arms and hugged Wentworth together.
