Chapter 69 Looking for a Teacher

Just as Green was about to leave, he was stopped by Cedric. Cedric stared at Wentworth and said with some confusion:

"Wentworth, what happened? You can't say such things casually, and you can't make jokes about it."

Wentworth raised his head, glanced at the two people, and slowly told them what had just happened in his dream.

After hearing this, Green and Cedric looked at each other in surprise.

"If it was someone else, I would have probably laughed and called him a coward, but for you, I'm not sure."

Green's eyes shifted between Wentworth and the pumpkin, as if he couldn't make up his mind.

But Cedric was much more direct. He said very firmly: "Wentworth, I believe what you said! I think that dream might be a warning to you. There might really be something wrong with this pumpkin!"

Wentworth was somewhat moved to hear that Cedric trusted him without reservation.

"Thank you, Cedric. I was just afraid that no one would believe me and think it was just a dream and that I was making a fuss."

"Don't worry about others. You haven't used tea leaves to predict marriages for others, so how can they know your magic? I have experienced it myself, and I believe that you will become a prophet in the future!"

Cedric said firmly.

Wentworth: "...I thank you..."

"How about I just give it a crushing spell?"

Green on the side had already taken out his wand and was about to try it on the pumpkin, but Wentworth stopped him.

If it was just about destroying the pumpkin, Wentworth could do it himself, but Wentworth wanted to know whether the dream he had just had was really a warning for the future.

If the dream just now was true, then this pumpkin could not be destroyed. I had to use it to find out who was behind the plot to murder me.

After all, a thief can only steal for a thousand days, so there is no reason to guard against thieves for a thousand days.

"So what should we do now?"

Green asked anxiously when he saw Wentworth stopping him from making a move.

"We are students of Hogwarts. If we have any questions, we should go to the teachers!"

Wentworth said as a matter of course.

Afterwards, Wentworth asked Cedric to guard here to prevent anyone from coming in and touching the pumpkin. Then, Wentworth took Green and went straight to the headmaster's office of Hogwarts.

"No, why are you dragging me to find Headmaster Dumbledore? Don't you know the way?"

On the way, Green followed Wentworth closely and asked with some confusion.

Wentworth said without turning his head:

"I'm afraid of getting into danger on the road, so I'm holding you to be safer."

Hearing Wentworth's words, Green widened his eyes and said with some dissatisfaction:

"Do you think that if there really is a wizard who dares to attack in Hogwarts, we two can escape?"

"I just need to run faster than you!"

Wentworth sounded confident, but it made Green very angry. After holding it in for a long time, Green slowly said: "...What you said makes sense."

Seeing Wentworth and Green, Snape frowned and was about to speak, but Wentworth spoke first:

"We two are not scared to sleep, Professor Snape, we have something important to discuss with Headmaster Dumbledore."

Snape: "...Follow me in!"

In the headmaster's office, Dumbledore, wearing pajamas, was standing under a pumpkin lantern. He was surprised to see Snape coming back. Just as he was about to say something, he discovered that there were two people following Snape.

"Hey, two little gentlemen, why don't you go to bed so late? Do you want some dessert?"

As he spoke, Dumbledore waved his finger and various desserts appeared on the table in front of Wentworth and Green.

"Principal Dumbledore, I want to remind you that eating so many sweets is not good for your health! You are the pillar of Hogwarts. Your body not only belongs to you, but also to Hogwarts! It belongs to all the teachers and students of Hogwarts!"

As Green spoke, he picked up a small piece of cake from the table and put it in his mouth.

Dumbledore readily accepted Green's criticism and even nodded repeatedly, then turned his attention to Wentworth.

"Well, Wentworth, would you like some dessert? Just remember to brush your teeth after eating."

Wentworth shook his head slowly, his face looking a little serious.

Seeing Wentworth's expression, Dumbledore glanced at Snape and found that Snape also had a confused look on his face. Dumbledore suddenly realized that something must have happened that he didn't know about.

"Well, it seems that something unexpected has happened to you in coming to me, hasn't it, Wentworth?"

As Dumbledore spoke, he waved his hand and the desserts on the table disappeared. Green was about to reach out to take a piece of cake, but ended up taking something empty. Green couldn't help but curl his lips.

"Okay, what happened? I'm ready to listen."

Wentworth took a deep breath and said slowly, "Principal, Professor, I think someone might want to kill me!"

As soon as Wentworth finished speaking, Dumbledore's eyes narrowed and his brows furrowed. At that moment, the huge pumpkin lantern hanging in the headmaster's room of Hogwarts flickered.

Behind Wentworth, Snape wanted to say something when he heard Wentworth speak, but at that moment, Snape suddenly held back and did not speak.

"Wentworth, why do you feel this way? What happened?"

Dumbledore didn't seem to doubt Wentworth's words, which made Wentworth breathe a sigh of relief.

Then Wentworth told Dumbledore in detail about his dream and how after waking up he found a real pumpkin lantern on his bed.

After finishing speaking, Wentworth asked cautiously:

"Principal Dumbledore, do you think I'm making a fuss?"

Dumbledore shook his head and said slowly, "No, Wentworth, you did very well. Before you have the ability and confidence to face all situations, caution will be your most advantageous weapon."

"Okay, let's go and see if anyone wants to harm our Hogwarts students!"

After Dumbledore finished speaking, he stood up and walked out. Wentworth and Green hurriedly followed him. Snape thought for a moment and followed as well.
