Chapter 8 Wand

Perhaps it was the mention of Gregorovitch by Rosier that stimulated Ollivander, who considered himself the best wand maker in Europe. Wentworth clearly felt that Ollivander's actions at this time were much more serious than described in the original book.

"Left or right hand?"

"Right hand, thank you!"

"How about trying this one? Eleven and one-half inches, ash wood with phoenix tail feathers. Absolute loyalty comes from absolute self-confidence. Ash wood wands will never accept a second owner because they firmly believe that their owner is the greatest wizard of this era!"

Ollivander carefully took down a wooden box, took out a wand from it, and handed it to Wentworth confidently.

When the wand touched Wentworth's palm, a warm sunlight like the noon sun in June suddenly lit up, illuminating Ollivander's Wand Shop.

Just as Wentworth was feeling lucky for finding a wand that suited him so quickly, the light quickly disappeared, as if it had never appeared, leaving Ollivander and Wentworth looking at each other in bewilderment.

"Oh, it's okay. I often encounter this kind of thing. Some customers may have to choose seven or eight wands before they can find the one that suits them!"

"How about trying this one? Ten and three-quarters inches, an extraordinary combination, willow and unicorn hair. Willow wands are chosen for potential owners. There is a saying in my family that if you want to travel far, willow will help you travel faster."

When Wentworth took the new wand from Ollivander, a green light swirled up along Wentworth's arm, and Wentworth felt refreshed all over.

However, amid Wentworth's intoxicated expression and Ollivander's surprised eyes, the willow wand quickly dimmed and returned to its ordinary appearance.

Wentworth looked at Ollivander with a puzzled look, only to find that Ollivander was also frowning and muttering to himself:

"That's impossible. It doesn't make sense. I clearly felt the wands' joy. They should be happy. Why would they refuse to communicate again?"

Rozier, who was waiting on the side, was already getting a little impatient.

"Is it possible? If you don't have a wand worthy of Wentworth, don't waste our time. You are not the only top wand maker in Europe!"

Originally, Rosier wanted to put some pressure on Ollivander, but unexpectedly, after Ollivander heard what Rosier said, his eyes lit up and he shouted in surprise like a child:

"That's right! That's it! I understand! I finally understand!"

Ollivander happily summoned a magic ladder, climbed it to the top of the wand shop's locker, and carefully took down a box from it.

Ollivander gently blew away the dust on the box, then opened the box, and a wand that looked a little crooked appeared inside.

"This is?!"

Unexpectedly, when the magic wand appeared before his eyes, Rozier had the biggest reaction. He screamed, then covered his mouth with his eyes wide open. This was the first time Wentworth saw Rozier so ungraceful.

"Nine and a quarter inches, elderberry and dragon's heart nerve, come on, boy, try it, come on!"

If Rosier hadn't been right behind him, Wentworth would have been scared to death by Ollivander and run away! At this moment, Ollivander didn't look like a European wand-making master at all. He was just like a bad queen who tricked the princess into eating an apple.

Without saying anything more, Wentworth knew that this was his wand! "Elderwood is a rare wand wood, more difficult to control than any other wand. It disdains to associate with wizards who are less capable. A wand with dragon nerves as its core is most likely to succumb to dark magic and change hands easily."

"This is a work I made in my early years. At that time, I was determined to create the strongest wand, but I had not yet realized that the most suitable one is the strongest! That is why this wand has been unused for so many years. However, this wand has one advantage, that is - powerful! Indisputably powerful!"

"A wand with dragon nerves at its core will cast powerful and dazzling spells, and the elderberry will continue to amplify this power. With such a powerful wand, wizards only need to worry about one thing, and that is whether they can control it!"

Ollivander looked at the wand in Wentworth's hand, his eyes full of confusion and intoxication.

Suddenly, Ollivander seemed to have suddenly realized something. He looked at Wentworth strangely and asked, "Do you know why the wands accepted you at the beginning but gave up responding to you in the end?"

Wentworth shook his head slowly, looking confused.

Ollivander continued to look at Wentworth strangely, until Rosier behind him was a little annoyed, Ollivander began to explain:

"Because they don't deserve it!"

Wentworth was stunned, then quickly explained:

"Mr. Ollivander, please don't misunderstand me. Grandma Rosier didn't mean to look down on your wand. She was just a little anxious. I have always believed that your wand is the best wand in the world!"

Wentworth thought that Ollivander was still angry about what Rosier had said just now, so he quickly began to explain. After all, he had not bought the wand in front of him that was so suitable for him!

"Of course, my wand is the best wand in the world! They said so themselves, they don't deserve it!"

What?! Wentworth and Rozier looked at each other, bewildered.

"They all accepted you at the beginning, but when they resonated with you, they backed off. They felt that they were not worthy of you!"

"As for why they are not worthy of you, I don't know. Maybe it's your talent, or maybe it's your ambition! Anyway, they all gave up in the end!"

After hearing what Ollivander said, Wentworth was stunned, while Rosier looked at Wentworth with shining eyes.

"As expected, he is the future leader of our Wizarding Party. His ambition is so clear that even the magic wand can sense it! However, it should be so! Just like the master in the past! The King of Wizards is infinitely arrogant!"

Rozier thought to himself.
