Who is the monster?
Under the dark night, on the quiet and deserted streets of Corian City, only the members of the police team were still patrolling. Street lamps cast a gentle light. After the curfew, ordinary pedestrians were rarely seen on the streets.
But there are always some people who break the rules for various reasons.
The man walked hurriedly across the street. He looked anxious and hurried, glancing behind him from time to time, alert to whether he had been discovered by the patrol team, which would not only result in a large fine, but also require him to be questioned by the police.
Although he had heard of the legend of the goblin Pika, he didn't take it seriously. Is there anything scarier than poverty? Of course not! He held the stolen things tightly in his arms, and his heart was filled with joy.
This was not the first time he had run out, and after not being discovered, the man became bolder. In the past, he always had to hide when he wanted to prostitute himself, fearing that he would be discovered. It was not as convenient as it is now.
With joyful steps, he did not notice anything overlapping. The footsteps of the man and his companions were slightly different in volume, and he heard a strange humming in the air.
"The little goblin Pika, all dirty, ran out of the ground, blowing the horn."
"He wears a white hat, has pointy ears and a big nose. He is a lunatic, short man who can't tell left from right and a cripple..."
His heart tightened, and he instinctively looked around. A strange, hunched figure appeared at the corner of the street. It wore a shabby white cloth hat and carried a heavy sack on its back. Blood was constantly seeping from the bottom of the sack. A pair of big eyes on its eagle-like nose stared at this side.
The eyes were really big, taking up two-thirds of the face, and the skin was a dull dark green. The man took a step back in horror, his face full of panic. The elf Pika grinned, revealing dense fangs. It walked very slowly, with a limp on its right leg, but the sound of its singing lingered in the man's ears.
"Run around with the sack on your back, and don't see it in the dark."
"One eye throws away the big head, two eyes throw away the small mouth, three eyes, four eyes, five eyes, six eyes, the bleeding sack laughs haha..."
"Help! There's a monster here, help!!"
The thief turned and ran away, but the goblin Pika did not take him away directly as planned. It had discovered the other party for a long time, and the other party had a repulsive but very attractive aura, which made the goblin a little hesitant.
It followed the other party slowly and leisurely. If the pursued person was really an unarmed prey, he would probably be driven crazy by the faint songs. The road ahead seemed endless, and the street lights were like a series of replicas. The thief's pace became slower and slower. Looking at the distant road, his eyes were finally filled with despair.
"Please let me go. Who sent you? Old Parker? Did he send you to kill me because the item I sold last time was fake? Or is it some owner... The item is no longer with me! Really! Do you want money? I can give you all the Robbies!"
Facing the approaching goblin, he cried and laughed, and smashed his wallet on the ground like a madman. The shiny little round coins were scattered all over the ground. The goblin Pika suddenly stopped, bent down and picked up a coin.
There was joy in the man's eyes, but the little goblin just started laughing.
"Run around with a sack on your back. Don't see it when it's dark. You'll lose your big head at first sight."
The man felt a pain in his head, as if something had cut his neck out of thin air. But the head that was supposed to be in the sack was still on the man's neck without moving. The little fairy's smile froze slightly, and he continued to sing: "Two eyes, lose the little mouth."
Knife marks appeared on the man's mouth at a speed visible to the naked eye, like a child's clumsy stitches. The next second, these wounds squirmed and healed. Only the weird song was still singing: "Three eyes, four eyes, five, six eyes, the bleeding sack is laughing..."
The man and the monster looked at each other, and the blood-soaked sack suddenly swelled up, ignoring the space and appearing in front of the man. The sack was like a bloody mouth, ready to swallow him directly. But a faint warm light flashed for a moment, and greed absorbed all the pollution on the sack. The worn sack wailed and fell to the ground, and some bloody limbs rolled out of it.
The goblin Pika screamed and disappeared. But soon, it reappeared in the place where it disappeared. Its horrified eyes passed through the air, as if it had seen some unbelievable horror scene.
The Thief stopped in front of it, his indifferent expression making his ordinary face suddenly look a little dark and strange. Above his head were countless glowing vines and butterflies growing towards the sky.
This scene was extremely strange, just like a giant flower sac like a fly trap growing on a person's head. With the help of [Disguise], the goblin ignored the energy that did not touch him. When he found out, it was too late. These flower vines silently wrapped him up. The humans that were regarded as prey were just the tempting bait of the fly trap, and silently captured him.
“It’s really not easy.”
Mason couldn't help but sigh as he looked at the seal in front of him. God knows how many times he had to run around these days before he finally made the other party show up. Even after he showed up, he was still slow to act, forcing him to take the initiative to seduce the other party.
The little goblin shuddered when he heard this, and his small brain immediately realized that this was a trap!
But it couldn't leave, so it just crouched there in fear, holding its torn sack in its arms. Mason collected himself and looked down at it.
"Where did all the missing people go?"
The monster trembled and said nothing. The silver-haired young man frowned, not having much patience for non-humans: "Speak."
The little goblin Pika was shaking like a sieve, and he opened his mouth and sang a line in a stuttering voice.
"The little goblin Pika, all dirty, ran out of the ground, blew the horn..."
"He wears a white hat, has pointy ears and a big nose. He is a crazy, short guy who can't tell left from right and a cripple..."
Tears were about to fall from its eyes. The flower vines that kept leaning against each other seemed harmless, but for the seal that relied on pollution to strengthen itself, it was like falling into a thief's den.
"One eye throws away the big head, two eyes throw away the small mouth, three eyes, four eyes, five eyes, six eyes, the bleeding sack laughs haha..."
By the end of the song, the goblin's voice had already mixed with crying. It sobbed and looked extremely miserable. But the silver-haired young man showed no mercy: "You can't speak?"
The little goblin nodded while crying.
"Do you know where those people went?"
The little goblin paused in its cry, and a flower vine hit it directly, causing a large amount of black mist to spread. The sealed creature screamed, but the sound stopped abruptly when it saw the human frowning, and nodded very stiffly.
"Are they still alive?"
The goblin nodded and shook his head, and Mason frowned slightly.
"You took those people away and gave them to the [Craftsman] to use as materials, right?"
The goblin was stuck in place without moving. Mason thought for a moment and changed his words: "Does this behavior also include using your [price]?"
The goblin Pica nodded again. Mason was in a bad mood. According to what he knew about the cost of the seal, it was mostly related to killing and death. It seemed that those missing persons were in danger. Even so, he did not intend to give up the mission and said to the goblin Pica: "Pretend that I am your prey and take me to your base camp."
The goblin suddenly opened his eyes wide, and his eyes, which already took up too much of his face, almost fell out of their sockets. He shook his head like crazy, gesticulating with his hands. Mason carefully identified his behavior, but could not find any clues.
"You don't want to take me with you?... No, it's not up to you. The actions of the Sealed Objects have certain rules. According to the song, the first time you look at them, you will lose your head. The second time you look at them, you will lose your voice. If you continue to stare, the victim will appear in a sack... But you are so small——"
Hearing this, the goblin groaned in a very human way. Mason ignored its frustrated self-confidence and continued, "It's definitely impossible to drag such a big sack. Hmm... All things considered, the things swallowed into the sack will be decomposed, but they won't die? Is this your ability as a Sealed Object?"
The victim is trapped in a certain loop, dismembered, put into a sack and taken away alive. This is a seal created purely for the purpose of obtaining materials, which is very consistent with the style of the "Craftsman".
Glancing at the seal that was clearly untouchable, Mason nodded and said, "It's okay, let's do it."
The eyes of the little goblin Pika spun around, watching the terrifying energy retreat. The human's face was covered with disguise again, becoming ordinary. It hesitated and said: "The bleeding sack is laughing..."
The sack in his hand flew up listlessly, swallowed the human in one gulp, and fell to the ground in a bulging bag. The goblin Pika approached cautiously and touched the sack tentatively, from which stinking blood oozed.
It walked around the sack several times, making sure that its sack had contained the other person. A sinister smile suddenly appeared on its ugly face. It lifted the sack with its thin body and threw it heavily to the ground, laughing loudly. This was the second half of the song.
"After eating the arms, eat the legs, and after eating the head, eat the mouth!"
"Don't mess with it, or you'll be smashed to pieces with nowhere to cry. Open the storybook and see, the goblin is laughing!"
The sound of the human body hitting the ground was extremely eerie and terrifying amidst the strange laughter, songs and faint screams. After the whole sack was smashed into pieces, the little goblin happily carried the sack on his back and walked forward.
As it walked, it suddenly felt something was wrong. A light object poked it. The little fairy turned its head in confusion and saw a beautiful and translucent flower vine. The flowers and leaves on it were crystal clear and about to bloom, very charming.
Looking further back, it had dragged up a huge flower egg. It was like the tentacles of a deep-sea jellyfish, floating lightly behind it. Under the effect of [Disguise], it was gradually becoming invisible.
Little Goblin Pika: "......"
My heart, which was originally filled with joy, soared to the sky and then fell straight down. I was puzzled by the sealed object. Why was the other party not dead yet? What was that scream just now?
The blood-soaked sack drooped on the ground powerlessly, without making any sound. It was dragged to its destination by its owner like a dead dog. If it could speak, it would definitely scold its owner. Didn't you notice that I was the only one injured?
Inside it, Mason remained calm as he experienced for the first time what it felt like to be divided into pieces.
It didn't hurt, and it even felt like it had nothing to do with me. If it were an ordinary person, they would have died immediately after what the goblin had just done. But what is Canaan?
His body is just a bundle of flesh, and the pollution is the core that connects this body.
A creature without even an organ would only be a piece of meat after being cut up. Coupled with the powerful healing power of the domain, he could quickly heal himself by just going out. It was hard for this sack, which had to accompany him to be tossed around by his master and endure the pain of being absorbed and contaminated.
This sealed object was not very smart. It looked suspiciously for a while and then continued to walk forward happily. It walked a long distance with the sack on its back. Through the flower vines, Mason memorized the entire route.
In order to conceal himself and obtain raw materials more conveniently, the [craftsman] actually hid himself in a poor house. The little goblin stopped in front of a dilapidated thatched house, and the door opened automatically, revealing a poor and thin face.
He ignored the horrible scene and let the goblin in. When the goblin walked in, Mason saw a lighted candlestick on the table in the room. In the dim light, there was a leather-bound fairy tale book next to it.
The book looked very old, and the cover had a green monster carrying a sack on its back, which looked 70% similar to the goblin Pika. But compared to the latter, the ugly cover looked more friendly. The owner of the house closed the door, turned around and opened the book, and read in a low voice.
"Gremlins P.C. is a horrible monster..."
This is a story about a goblin who steals treasures at night and is cursed to become a murderous monster. After reading this story, the owner of the house pried up a floorboard, took out an arm and placed it in front of the goblin Pika. The latter swallowed it clean and returned to the book with satisfaction. Only the sack was left on the ground.
Before the craftsman could make a move, the bag opened automatically and eagerly spit out the contents. The owner of the house was very surprised to see its actions: "It's so proactive today, did it meet a human of exceptional quality?"
The sealed object would indeed behave abnormally when it encountered delicious food. He looked at the harvest of this trip with expectation, and the smile on his lips suddenly froze when he saw the situation clearly. The strong stimulation made the man's temples beat abnormally. He took out a wooden cannon from his pocket, and without caring about keeping quiet, he fired two shots directly at the ball of things!
“Bang!”
The dull sound of wooden doors echoed, and the slum was silent. People who heard the sound closed their doors tighter, fearing that they would get into trouble.
Two bullets were fired into the flesh that was no longer human, and a ball of sparks exploded. The faces of the [Craftsman] members turned even paler, and when the smoke cleared, the blinking eyes in the flesh looked at him. In the man's horrified eyes, a slender neck had grown in the blink of an eye.
