Lu Qingqing couldn't hide her excitement and trotted towards him.

A strange voice came from behind him. Xie Suzhou paused, stood at the stairs, looked back, and saw an unfamiliar girl walking towards him hurriedly.
Lu Qingqing raised her little face with a charming smile. She had a tasseled bun on and wore a goose-yellow brocade skirt. The hem of the skirt swayed with her movements. Xie Suzhou lowered his eyes and looked at her. After a while, his brows furrowed. "Who are you?"
Lu Qingqing choked and stamped her feet in shame and anger. "Xie Langzhong is really a noble man who forgets things easily. You and I met at the city gate."
Xie Suzhou seemed to have thought of something. He took two steps back without leaving a trace and said in a deep voice, "You are the girl next to the eldest prince."
"You remembered?" Lu Qingqing glared at him in disapproval, then smiled coquettishly. "Our chance meeting today is enough to prove that Doctor Xie and I are destined to be together. I wonder if you'd be free to have a drink with me?"

He carefully glanced at the figure downstairs, then shook his head, "No, I was guarding the second floor the whole time. The girl didn't even enter the private room. After entering the restaurant, she kept lingering at the stairs, as if waiting for someone. I approached her to greet her, but she chased me away."

Xie Suzhou sat down beside him, his face dark. "That day, Yan Sheng came to the city gate to greet the emperor, and he had a girl with him. Just now, when I went out to pay the bill, I ran into her by chance and we got entangled for a while."

However, Lord Wang hasn't appeared before the prince yet, and I'm worried...that Lu Qingqing is pretending to talk to me, but is actually here to find out about the ministers close to the prince."

Xie Suzhou raised his eyes and uttered a word coldly, "Kill."
