Chapter 38 A shared secret
"You're a smart kid."
Song Gang snorted coldly, pulled out a paper bag from his sleeve, and stuffed it into Xie Chen's palm. "Go home later and find a chance to sneak this thing into the water without anyone noticing. Have Su Cheng drink it. After you're done, run to the door and imitate the meow of a wild cat."
Xie Chen looked at the thing in his hand and felt a little scared. "Brother Song, what is this?"

He then looked at Zhou Beibei and said, "Don't let me down. After I'm done, remember to greet the people in the village. The more people who come, the better."

Xie Chen took a deep breath, tightened his grip on the paper bag, and felt cold all over.

As the night deepened, a figure occasionally wandered around the Xie family's yard, circling the closed gate several times.
After an unknown amount of time, a wild cat's cry suddenly sounded, startling the hen so much that it flapped its wings a few times.
The door creaked and slowly opened a crack.
"Brother Song...Brother Song..." Xie Chen stuck his head out, looked around, and greeted him in a low voice.
"Here I come!" Song Gang came over on tiptoe. Even with a cloth covering his face, he couldn't hide the obscene smile on his face. "Good boy, you actually succeeded. It seems that Su Cheng has no defense against you at all."
Xie Chen pursed his lips and smiled shyly, then opened the door wide and welcomed him into the yard. "Brother Song, my stepmother lives in the west room. She drank some water spiked with something and started saying she was sleepy, so she went back to her room to catch up on some sleep."
Song Gang glanced at the dark west room and frowned, "Boy, you didn't lie to me, did you?"
"How could I have the guts to lie to Brother Song?" Xie Chen said in a low voice, looking aggrieved. "I even locked the east and main rooms with copper locks to keep our agreement. Now, even my third and fourth uncles can't save her!"
"Really?" Song Gang looked back and saw that there was indeed a lock on each door of the two houses. "I'll trust you this time. When I'm done, I'll buy you some candy."
After he finished speaking, he groped his way, quietly pushed open the door of the west room, and reached inside.
With the help of moonlight, Song Gang walked to the bedside and saw a bulge in the quilt. He tentatively reached out and lifted it up.
The person on the bed was lying on her side, with a corner of her inner garment opened, revealing her slender waist. Her waist-length hair covered her face, so her appearance could not be seen clearly, but judging from her figure, she was definitely a woman.

Song Gang screamed, covered his wrist tightly, and then looked carefully at the person under him.
There was a hole in the roof of the dilapidated house, and moonlight poured down, falling on the two of them, enough for him to see clearly.
After seeing that person, Song Gang's expression changed instantly. "You...why is it you? Su Cheng...that Xie Chen kid lied to me!"
"Why? Am I not satisfied?" Xie Jinyu lay on the bed, one hand supporting his chin, his eyes slightly narrowed, a faint smile on his lips, and he looked relaxed and contented. Although he was a man, he looked more charming than a woman. "Who gave you the courage to attack her?"

Song Gang's whole body trembled, his eyes suddenly widened, and he looked down to see Xie Jinyu's overly beautiful face approaching him.
