Bai Yajing calmly and skillfully washed and disinfected her hands. She had been on the operating table many times and was not afraid or hesitant because of the special status of the patients.
"Ya Jing! We're teaming up again today!" Dr. Wang, the anesthesiologist, greeted her cheerfully.
He then offered a comforting reassurance: "We've collaborated so many times; I know your skills best—they're very solid. Believe in yourself, and don't let those people spewing nonsense influence you."
Mr. Qian chatted with her with a smile, showing no ill will towards her because of the previous incident. His attitude also represented the attitude of the hospital's senior management.
Bai Yajing thanked them gratefully. In this era where everyone was afraid of danger, she was so fortunate to have met these kind and gentle elders in the hospital.
In the operating room, the commander had already been anesthetized.

"Your blood pressure has dropped a little," the intern suddenly reminded him.
Bai Yajing stopped what she was doing and calmly asked, "How much?"
"90/60, still dropping."
The commander has a weak heart, making him more sensitive to blood loss.
Bai Yajing quickly checked the bleeding point: "Dr. Wu, prepare for a blood transfusion. Head Nurse Xu, give me finer sutures."
Her instructions were clear and concise.
After the blood transfusion, the commander's blood pressure gradually stabilized.
The surgery continued, and she remained as steady as a rock throughout, unlike what one would expect from a doctor of her age. Clearly, she was a seasoned veteran, and her hands were as firm as a rock.
Two hours later, the surgery was successfully completed, and she stitched up the last stitch.
"Excellent, well done," Mr. Qian praised. "Especially the technique used to handle the adhered parts; it was very skillful and precise."
He certainly knew what abilities his half-disciple possessed; this remark was merely a compliment meant for those who were interested.
"Thank you, Professor Qian."
Head Nurse Xu and Dr. Wu packed up the equipment together. Although reluctant, he couldn't deny that her skills were indeed impressive. He somewhat awkwardly offered a compliment, "Her skills are indeed quite good."
Head Nurse Xu didn't say much. She came on behalf of all the nurses, and since the other person was truly capable, she was convinced!
She was just promoted because of the staff shortage, and she wasn't very familiar with Bai Yajing. This time, she was completely convinced of Bai Yajing's abilities.

She walked out of the operating room and found several interns standing in the corridor.
